Y CINCO días después descendió el sumo sacerdote Ananías, con algunos de los ancianos, y un cierto Tértulo, orador; y parecieron delante del gobernador contra Pablo.
And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.

Als dieser aber gerufen worden war, erhob Tertullus die Anklage und sprach:
Y citado que fué, Tértulo comenzó á acusar, diciendo: Como por causa tuya vivamos en grande paz, y muchas cosas sean bien gobernadas en el pueblo por tu prudencia,
And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,

der auch versuchte, den Tempel zu entheiligen; den haben wir auch ergriffen und wollten ihn nach unsrem Gesetze richten.
El cual también tentó á violar el templo; y prendiéndole, le quisimos juzgar conforme á nuestra ley:
Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
He even tried to profane the temple, and we arrested him.
Aber Lysias, der Oberste, kam dazu und führte ihn mit großer Gewalt aus unsern Händen hinweg
Mas interviniendo el tribuno Lisias, con grande violencia le quitó de nuestras manos,

und hieß seine Ankläger zu dir kommen. Von ihm kannst du selbst, so du ihn verhörest, alles das erfahren, dessen wir ihn anklagen.
Mandando á sus acusadores que viniesen á ti; del cual tú mismo juzgando, podrás entender todas estas cosas de que le acusamos.
Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.

Dem stimmten aber auch die Juden bei und behaupteten, es verhielte sich so.

Paulus aber gab auf den Wink des Landpflegers folgende Antwort: Da ich weiß, daß du seit vielen Jahren unter diesem Volke Richter bist, so verteidige ich meine Sache guten Mutes,
Entonces Pablo, haciéndole el gobernador señal que hablase, respondió: Porque sé que muchos años ha eres gobernador de esta nación, con buen ánimo satisfaré por mí.
Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, “Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense,
da du erfahren kannst, daß es nicht länger als zwölf Tage her ist, seit ich hinaufzog, um in Jerusalem anzubeten.
Porque tú puedes entender que no hace más de doce días que subí á adorar á Jerusalem;
Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.

Und sie fanden mich weder im Tempel, daß ich mich mit jemand unterredet oder einen Volksauflauf erregt hätte, noch in den Synagogen, noch in der Stadt.

And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
In the temple they didn’t find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the synagogues or in the city.
Sie können dir auch das nicht beweisen, wessen sie mich jetzt anklagen.

Als Felix solches hörte, verwies er sie auf eine spätere Zeit, da er den Weg genauer kannte, und sprach: Wenn Lysias, der Oberste, herabkommt, will ich eure Sache untersuchen.
Entonces Félix, oídas estas cosas, estando bien informado de esta secta, les puso dilación, diciendo: Cuando descendiere el tribuno Lisias acabaré de conocer de vuestro negocio.
And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”
Und er befahl dem Hauptmann, Paulus in Gewahrsam zu halten, jedoch in milder Haft, auch keinem der Seinigen zu wehren, ihm Dienste zu leisten.
Y mandó al centurión que Pablo fuese guardado, y aliviado de las prisiones; y que no vedase á ninguno de sus familiares servirle, ó venir á él.
And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody and should have some privileges, and not to forbid any of his friends to serve him or to visit him.
Nach etlichen Tagen aber kam Felix mit seinem Weibe Drusilla, die eine Jüdin war, und ließ den Paulus holen und hörte ihn über den Glauben an Christus Jesus.
Y algunos días después, viniendo Félix con Drusila, su mujer, la cual era Judía, llamó á Pablo, y oyó de él la fe que es en Jesucristo.
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
After some days, Felix came with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.
Als er aber von Gerechtigkeit und Enthaltsamkeit und dem zukünftigen Gericht redete, wurde dem Felix bange, und er antwortete: Für diesmal gehe hin; wenn ich aber gelegene Zeit bekomme, will ich dich wieder rufen lassen!
Y disertando él de la justicia, y de la continencia, y del juicio venidero, espantado Félix, respondió: Ahora vete; mas en teniendo oportunidad te llamaré:
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
As he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, “Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.”
Zugleich hoffte er aber auch, daß ihm von Paulus Geld gegeben würde, damit er ihn freiließe. Darum ließ er ihn auch öfters kommen und besprach sich mit ihm.
Esperando también con esto, que de parte de Pablo le serían dados dineros, porque le soltase; por lo cual, haciéndole venir muchas veces, hablaba con él.
He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him more often and talked with him.
Als aber zwei Jahre verflossen waren, bekam Felix zum Nachfolger den Porcius Festus, und da sich Felix die Juden zu Dank verpflichten wollte, ließ er den Paulus gebunden zurück.
Mas al cabo de dos años recibió Félix por sucesor á Porcio Festo: y queriendo Félix ganar la gracia de los Judíos, dejó preso á Pablo.
But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
