Le pidieron a Festo con insistencia que les hiciera el favor de que Pablo fuera llevado a Jerusalén. Ellos planeaban matarlo cuando viniera en camino.

Pidiendo gracia contra él, que le hiciese traer á Jerusalem, poniendo ellos asechanzas para matarle en el camino.

And desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him.

asking a favor against him, that he would summon him to Jerusalem, plotting to kill him on the way.
