Todos caímos al suelo, y escuché una voz que me decía en arameo: ‘Saulo, Saulo, ¿por qué me persigues? Es duro para ti dar de coces contra el aguijón’.

Y habiendo caído todos nosotros en tierra, oí una voz que me hablaba, y decía en lengua hebraica: Saulo, Saulo, ¿por qué me persigues? Dura cosa te es dar coces contra los aguijones.

And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

When we had all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
