Paulus erwiderte: »Ich möchte zu Gott beten, daß über kurz oder lang nicht allein du, sondern alle, die mich heute hier hören, ebenso werden möchten wie ich es bin, abgesehen allerdings von diesen meinen Fesseln.«

Y Pablo dijo: ¡Pluguiese á Dios que por poco ó por mucho, no solamente tú, mas también todos los que hoy me oyen, fueseis hechos tales cual yo soy, excepto estas prisiones!

And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.

Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.”
