E Paulo respondeu: “Que Deus permitisse que, em pouco ou em muito tempo, tanto Vossa Majestade como todos os demais que estão aqui pudessem tornar-se como eu sou, mas sem estas correntes”.

Y Pablo dijo: ¡Pluguiese á Dios que por poco ó por mucho, no solamente tú, mas también todos los que hoy me oyen, fueseis hechos tales cual yo soy, excepto estas prisiones!

And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.

Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.”
