Was mich freilich betrifft, so habe ich es (einst) für meine Pflicht gehalten, den Namen Jesu von Nazareth als erklärter Feind zu bekämpfen,

Yo ciertamente había pensado deber hacer muchas cosas contra el nombre de Jesús de Nazaret:

I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

“I myself most certainly thought that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
