ENTONCES Agripa dijo á Pablo: Se te permite hablar por ti mismo. Pablo entonces, extendiendo la mano, comenzó á responder por sí, diciendo:

Es ist mir sehr lieb, lieber Konig Agrippa, daß ich mich heute vor dir verantworten soil alles, des ich von den Juden beschuldigt werde,
Acerca de todas las cosas de que soy acusado por los Judíos, oh rey Agripa, me tengo por dichoso de que haya hoy de defenderme delante de ti;
I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:

sondern verkündigte zuerst denen zu Damaskus und zu Jerusalem und in alle Gegend judischen Landes, auch den Fleiden, daß sie Buße taten und sich bekehreten zu Gott und taten rechtschaffene Werke der Buße.
Antes anuncié primeramente á los que están en Damasco, y Jerusalem, y por toda la tierra de Judea, y á los Gentiles, que se arrepintiesen y se convirtiesen á Dios, haciendo obras dignas de arrepentimiento.

daß Christus sollte leiden und der Erste sein aus der Auferstehung von den Toten und verkundigen ein Licht dem Volk und den Heiden.

Da er aber solches zur Verantwortung gab, sprach Festus mit lauter Stimme: Paulus, du rasest; die große Kunst macht dich rasend.
Y diciendo él estas cosas en su defensa, Festo á gran voz dijo: Estás loco, Pablo: las muchas letras te vuelven loco.
And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.
As he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are crazy! Your great learning is driving you insane!”
Er aber sprach: Mein teurer Festus, ich rase nicht, sondern ich rede wahre und vernünftige Worte.
Mas él dijo: No estoy loco, excelentísimo Festo, sino que hablo palabras de verdad y de templanza.
But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.
But he said, “I am not crazy, most excellent Festus, but boldly declare words of truth and reasonableness.
Denn der Konig weiß solches wohl, zu welchem ich freudig rede; denn ich achte, ihm sei der keines nicht verborgen, denn solches ist nicht im Winkel geschehen.
Pues el rey sabe estas cosas, delante del cual también hablo confiadamente. Pues no pienso que ignora nada de esto; pues no ha sido esto hecho en algún rincón.

Agrippa aber sprach zu Paulus: Es fehlet nicht viel, du uberredest mich, daß ich ein Christ würde.
Entonces Agripa dijo á Pablo: Por poco me persuades á ser Cristiano.
Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
Agrippa said to Paul, “With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”
Paulus aber sprach: Ich wunschte vor Gott, es fehlte an viel Oder an wenig, daß nicht alleine du, sondern alle, die mich heute horen, solche wurden, wie ich bin, ausgenommen diese Bande.
Y Pablo dijo: ¡Pluguiese á Dios que por poco ó por mucho, no solamente tú, mas también todos los que hoy me oyen, fueseis hechos tales cual yo soy, excepto estas prisiones!
And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.”
Und da er das gesagt, stund der Konig auf und der Landpfleger und Bernice, und die mit ihnen saßen,

And when he had thus spoken, the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them:
The king rose up with the governor and Bernice, and those who sat with them.
und entwichen beiseits, redeten miteinander und sprachen: Dieser Mensch hat nichts getan, was des Todes Oder der Bande wert sei.
Y como se retiraron aparte, hablaban los unos á los otros, diciendo: Ninguna cosa digna ni de muerte, ni de prisión, hace este hombre.
And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
When they had withdrawn, they spoke to one another, saying, “This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.”
Agrippa aber sprach zu Festus: Dieser Mensch hatte konnen losgegeben werden, wenn er sich nicht auf den Kaiser berufen hatte.
Y Agripa dijo á Festo: Podía este hombre ser suelto, si no hubiera apelado á César.
Then said Agrippa unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Cæsar.
Agrippa said to Festus, “This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”
