¶ Empero venida la catorcena noche, y siendo llevados de una a otra parte por el mar Adriático, los marineros a la media noche sospecharon que estaban cerca de alguna tierra.

But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;

But when the fourteenth night had come, as we were driven back and forth in the Adriatic Sea, about midnight the sailors surmised that they were drawing near to some land.
