Et les Barbares usèrent d’une singulière humanité envers nous, car ils allumèrent un grand feu, et nous reçurent tous, à cause de la pluie qui nous pressait, et à cause du froid.

Y los bárbaros nos mostraron no poca humanidad; porque, encendido un fuego, nos recibieron á todos, á causa de la lluvia que venía, y del frío.

And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
