Porque embotando este pueblo su corazón, ha tapado sus oídos, y apretado las pestañas de sus ojos, de miedo que con ellos vean y oigan con sus oídos, y entiendan con el corazón, y así se conviertan, y yo les dé la salud.
Porque el corazón de este pueblo se ha engrosado, y de los oídos oyeron pesadamente, y sus ojos taparon; porque no vean con los ojos, y oigan con los oídos, y entiendan de corazón, y se conviertan, y yo los sane.
For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
For this people’s heart has grown callous. Their ears are dull of hearing. Their eyes they have closed. Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, then I would heal them.’
