Le jour de la Pentecôte étant arrivé, ils étaient tous ensemble dans le même lieu.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Et des langues séparées, comme de feu, leur apparurent et se posèrent sur chacun d'eux.

Y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, que se asentó sobre cada uno de ellos.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Et ils furent tous remplis de l'Esprit saint, et ils commencèrent à parler en d'autres langues, selon que l'Esprit leur donnait de s'exprimer.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Or, ce bruit ayant eu lieu, la multitude s'assembla et fut confondue de ce que chacun les entendait parler en son propre dialecte.

Y hecho este estruendo, juntóse la multitud; y estaban confusos, porque cada uno les oía hablar su propia lengua.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Ils en étaient dans la stupeur et l'étonnement, se disant les uns aux autres : Ces gens-là qui parlent, voici, ne sont-ils pas tous Galiléens ?

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans?

Juifs et prosélytes, Crétois et Arabes, nous les entendons annoncer en nos langues les choses magnifiques de Dieu.

Cretenses y Arabes, les oímos hablar en nuestras lenguas las maravillas de Dios.

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Cretans and Arabians—we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!”

Ils étaient donc tous stupéfaits et ne savaient que penser, se disant l'un à l'autre : Que veut dire ceci ?

Y estaban todos atónitos y perplejos, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Qué quiere ser esto?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

They were all amazed and were perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”

Mais d'autres, se moquant, disaient : Ils sont pleins de vin doux.

Mas otros burlándose, decían: Que están llenos de mosto.

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Mais Pierre, se présentant avec les onze, éleva sa voix et leur parla : Hommes juifs, et vous tous qui séjournez à Jérusalem, que ceci vous soit connu, et écoutez avec attention mes paroles :

Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó su voz, y hablóles diciendo: Varones Judíos, y todos los que habitáis en Jerusalem, esto os sea notorio, y oid mis palabras.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Et il arrivera dans les derniers jours, dit Dieu, que je répandrai de mon Esprit sur toute chair ; et vos fils et vos filles prophétiseront ; et vos jeunes gens auront des visions, et vos vieillards auront des songes.

Y será en los postreros días, dice Dios, derramaré de mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas profetizarán; y vuestros mancebos verán visiones, y vuestros viejos soñarán sueños:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.

Oui, sur mes serviteurs et sur mes servantes, dans ces jours-là, je répandrai de mon Esprit, et ils prophétiseront.

Y de cierto sobre mis siervos y sobre mis siervas en aquellos días derramaré de mi Espíritu, y profetizarán.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.

Et je ferai des prodiges en haut dans le ciel, et des signes en bas sur la terre, du sang et du feu, et une vapeur de fumée.

Y daré prodigios arriba en el cielo, y señales abajo en la tierra, sangre y fuego y vapor de humo:

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.

Le soleil sera changé en ténèbres, et la lune en sang, avant que vienne le jour grand et éclatant du Seigneur.

El sol se volverá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día del Señor, grande y manifiesto;

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

Et il arrivera que quiconque invoquera le nom du Seigneur sera sauvé.

Y será que todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor, será salvo.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Hommes Israélites, écoutez ces paroles : Jésus le Nazaréen, cet homme autorisé de Dieu auprès de vous par des miracles et des prodiges et des signes que Dieu a faits par lui au milieu de vous, comme vous le savez vous-mêmes ;

Varones Israelitas, oid estas palabras: Jesús Nazareno, varón aprobado de Dios entre vosotros en maravillas y prodigios y señales, que Dios hizo por él en medio de vosotros, como también vosotros sabéis;

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

“Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,

ce Jésus, livré selon le conseil arrêté et la prescience de Dieu, vous l'avez fait mourir par la main d'infidèles, l'ayant cloué à la croix ;

A éste, entregado por determinado consejo y providencia de Dios, prendisteis y matasteis por manos de los inicuos, crucificándole;

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;

Dieu l'a ressuscité, ayant dissipé les douleurs de la mort, parce qu'il n'était pas possible qu'il fût retenu par elle.

Al cual Dios levantó, sueltos los dolores de la muerte, por cuanto era imposible ser detenido de ella.

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Car David dit de lui : Je voyais le Seigneur devant moi constamment, parce qu'il est à ma droite, afin que je ne sois point ébranlé.

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

C'est pour cela que mon cœur s'est réjoui, et ma langue a été dans l'allégresse, et même ma chair reposera encore avec espérance ;

Por lo cual mi corazón se alegró, y gozóse mi lengua; y aun mi carne descansará en esperanza;

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope,

parce que tu n'abandonneras point mon âme dans le séjour des morts, et tu ne permettras point que ton Saint voie la corruption.

Que no dejarás mi alma en el infierno, ni darás á tu Santo que vea corrupción.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

Tu m'as fait connaître les chemins de la vie ; tu me rempliras de joie par ta présence.

Hicísteme notorios los caminos de la vida; me henchirás de gozo con tu presencia.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

Hommes frères, qu'il me soit permis de vous dire, en toute liberté, au sujet du patriarche David, et qu'il est mort et qu'il a été enseveli, et que son sépulcre est parmi nous jusqu'à ce jour.

Varones hermanos, se os puede libremente decir del patriarca David, que murió, y fué sepultado, y su sepulcro está con nosotros hasta del día de hoy.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

“Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Etant donc prophète, et sachant que Dieu lui avait promis avec serment qu'il ferait asseoir un de ses descendants sur son trône,

Empero siendo profeta, y sabiendo que con juramento le había Dios jurado que del fruto de su lomo, cuanto á la carne, levantaría al Cristo que se sentaría sobre su trono;

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

il a, par prévision, parlé de la résurrection du Christ, disant qu'il n'a point été laissé dans le séjour des morts et que sa chair n'a point vu la corruption.

Viéndolo antes, habló de la resurrección de Cristo, que su alma no fué dejada en el infierno, ni su carne vió corrupción.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay.

C'est ce Jésus que Dieu a ressuscité ; ce dont nous tous, nous sommes témoins.

A este Jesús resucitó Dios, de lo cual todos nosotros somos testigos.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Ayant donc été élevé par la droite de Dieu et ayant reçu du Père l'Esprit-Saint qu'il avait promis, il a répandu ce que vous-mêmes aussi voyez et entendez.

Así que, levantado por la diestra de Dios, y recibiendo del Padre la promesa del Espíritu Santo, ha derramado esto que vosotros veis y oís.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.

Car David n'est point monté au ciel ; mais il dit lui-même : Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur : Assieds-toi à ma droite,

Porque David no subió á los cielos; empero él dice: Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra,

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

jusqu'à ce que j'aie mis tes ennemis pour le marchepied de tes pieds.

Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’

Que toute la maison d'Israël sache donc avec certitude que Dieu l'a fait et Seigneur et Christ, ce Jésus que vous avez crucifié.

Sepa pues ciertísimamente toda la casa de Israel, que á éste Jesús que vosotros crucificasteis, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

“Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Ayant entendu ces choses, ils eurent le cœur transpercé, et ils dirent à Pierre et aux autres apôtres : Hommes frères, que devons-nous faire ?

Entonces oído esto, fueron compungidos de corazón, y dijeron á Pedro y á los otros apóstoles: Varones hermanos, ¿qué haremos?

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Et Pierre s'adressant à eux : Repentez-vous, et que chacun de vous soit baptisé au nom de Jésus-Christ, pour la rémission de vos péchés ; et vous recevrez le don du Saint-Esprit.

Y Pedro les dice: Arrepentíos, y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de los pecados; y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Car pour vous est la promesse, et pour vos enfants, et pour tous ceux qui sont éloignés, autant que le Seigneur notre Dieu en appellera.

Porque para vosotros es la promesa, y para vuestros hijos, y para todos los que están lejos; para cuantos el Señor nuestro Dios llamare.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

Et par plusieurs autres paroles, il rendit témoignage, et il les exhortait, en disant : Sauvez-vous de cette génération perverse.

Y con otras muchas palabras testificaba y exhortaba, diciendo: Sed salvos de esta perversa generación.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Eux donc ayant reçu sa parole, furent baptisés ; et environ trois mille âmes furent ajoutées ce jour-là.

Así que, los que recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados: y fueron añadidas á ellos aquel día como tres mil personas.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Et ils persévéraient dans la doctrine des apôtres et dans la communion mutuelle, dans la fraction du pain et dans les prières.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Et la crainte s'emparait de chacun ; et il se faisait beaucoup de prodiges et de miracles par les apôtres.

Y toda persona tenía temor: y muchas maravillas y señales eran hechas por los apóstoles.

And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

Et ils étaient chaque jour assidus au temple, d'un commun accord, et, rompant le pain dans les maisons, ils prenaient leur nourriture avec joie et simplicité de cœur,

Y perseverando unánimes cada día en el templo, y partiendo el pan en las casas, comían juntos con alegría y con sencillez de corazón,

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

louant Dieu et trouvant faveur auprès de tout le peuple. Et le Seigneur ajoutait chaque jour à l'Eglise ceux qui étaient sauvés.

Alabando á Dios, y teniendo gracia con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día á la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
