Y cuando llegó el día de Pentecostés, estaban todos juntos en un solo lugar.

Y COMO se cumplieron los días de Pentecostés, estaban todos unánimes juntos;

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Y repentinamente vino del cielo un sonido como el rugir de un viento violento, y toda la casa donde estaban se llenó de eso.

Y de repente vino un estruendo del cielo como de un viento recio que corría, el cual hinchió toda la casa donde estaban sentados;

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Y vieron lenguas, como llamas de fuego, que reposaban sobre cada uno de ellos.

Y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, que se asentó sobre cada uno de ellos.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them.

Y estaban todos llenos del Espíritu Santo, y hablaban en diferentes idiomas, según el Espíritu les daba poder.

Y fueron todos llenos del Espíritu Santo, y comenzaron á hablar en otras lenguas, como el Espíritu les daba que hablasen.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Y vivían en Jerusalén judíos, hombres temerosos de Dios, de toda nación debajo del cielo.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Y cuando este sonido les llegó a oídos, todos se juntaron, y se sorprendieron grandemente porque cada uno escuchaba las palabras de los discípulos en su lenguaje especial.

Y hecho este estruendo, juntóse la multitud; y estaban confusos, porque cada uno les oía hablar su propia lengua.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

When this sound was heard, the multitude came together and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.

Y estaban llenos de asombro, y dijeron: ¿No son todos estos hombres galileos?

Y estaban atónitos y maravillados, diciendo: He aquí ¿no son Galileos todos estos que hablan?

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans?

¿Y cómo es que cada uno de nosotros escucha sus palabras en el lenguaje que era nuestro desde nuestro nacimiento?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

How do we hear, everyone in our own native language?

Hombres Partos, Medos y Elamitas, y los que viven en Mesopotamia, en Judea y Capadocia, en el Ponto y Asia,

En Frigia y Panfilia, en Egipto y en las regiones de egipto sobre Cirene, y los que han venido de Roma, Judíos de nacimiento y otros que se han convertido en judíos,

En Phrygia y Pamphylia, en Egipto y en las partes de Africa que está de la otra parte de Cirene, y Romanos extranjeros, tanto Judíos como convertidos,

Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Hombres de Creta y Arabia, les hemos oído hablar en nuestros diferentes idiomas, de las grandes obras de Dios.

Cretenses y Arabes, les oímos hablar en nuestras lenguas las maravillas de Dios.

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Cretans and Arabians—we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!”

Y todos fueron sorprendidos y dudosos el uno al otro, ¿Cuál es la razón de esto?

Y estaban todos atónitos y perplejos, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Qué quiere ser esto?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

They were all amazed and were perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”

Pero otros, haciendo deporte de ellos, dijeron: Están borrachos.

Mas otros burlándose, decían: Que están llenos de mosto.

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Others, mocking, said, “They are filled with new wine.”

Pero Pedro, levantándose con los once, dijo en voz alta: Varones de Judea, y todos los que viven en Jerusalén, tomen nota de esto y presten atención a mis palabras.

Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó su voz, y hablóles diciendo: Varones Judíos, y todos los que habitáis en Jerusalem, esto os sea notorio, y oid mis palabras.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, “You men of Judea and all you who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words.

Porque estos hombres no están ebrios, como ustedes piensan, porque es solo la tercera hora del día;

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Y acontecerá, en los últimos días, dice Dios, que enviaré mi Espíritu sobre toda carne; y sus hijos e hijas profetizarán, y los jóvenes verán visiones, y los ancianos tendrán sueños:

Y será en los postreros días, dice Dios, derramaré de mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas profetizarán; y vuestros mancebos verán visiones, y vuestros viejos soñarán sueños:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.

Y sobre mis siervos y mis siervas derramaré mi Espíritu, y ellos profetizaran.

Y de cierto sobre mis siervos y sobre mis siervas en aquellos días derramaré de mi Espíritu, y profetizarán.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.

Y se verán maravillas en el cielo, y señales en la tierra, sangre, fuego y humo.

Y daré prodigios arriba en el cielo, y señales abajo en la tierra, sangre y fuego y vapor de humo:

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.

El sol se oscurecerá y la luna se convertirá en sangre, antes que llegue el gran día del Señor en gloria.

El sol se volverá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día del Señor, grande y manifiesto;

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

Y todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor será salvo.

Y será que todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor, será salvo.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Hombres de Israel, presten oído a estas palabras: Jesús de Nazaret, un hombre que tenía la aprobación de Dios, como les fue explicado por las grandes obras, señales y maravillas que Dios hizo por medio de él entre ustedes, como ustedes mismos lo saben,

Varones Israelitas, oid estas palabras: Jesús Nazareno, varón aprobado de Dios entre vosotros en maravillas y prodigios y señales, que Dios hizo por él en medio de vosotros, como también vosotros sabéis;

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

“Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,

Él, cuando fue entregado, por la decisión y el conocimiento de Dios, tenía hecho de antemano, ustedes lo arrestaron y mataron crucificandolo por mano de hombres malvados:

A éste, entregado por determinado consejo y providencia de Dios, prendisteis y matasteis por manos de los inicuos, crucificándole;

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;

Pero Dios lo resucitó, liberándolo de los dolores de la muerte; porque no le fue posible ser vencido por la muerte.

Al cual Dios levantó, sueltos los dolores de la muerte, por cuanto era imposible ser detenido de ella.

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

whom God raised up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.

Porque David dijo de él: Veía al Señor delante de mí en todo tiempo, porque él está a mi diestra, no seré conmovido;

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

For David says concerning him, ‘I saw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.

Y por esta causa mi corazón estaba contento y mi lengua llena de alegría, y mi carne descansará en la esperanza:

Por lo cual mi corazón se alegró, y gozóse mi lengua; y aun mi carne descansará en esperanza;

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope,

Porque no dejarás que mi alma esté en el infierno, y no entregarás a tu Santo a la destrucción.

Que no dejarás mi alma en el infierno, ni darás á tu Santo que vea corrupción.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

Me has hecho ver los caminos de la vida; Estaré lleno de alegría cuando vea tu cara.

Hicísteme notorios los caminos de la vida; me henchirás de gozo con tu presencia.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

Hermanos míos, puedo decirles abiertamente que David murió y fue sepultado, y su lugar de descanso hoy está con nosotros.

Varones hermanos, se os puede libremente decir del patriarca David, que murió, y fué sepultado, y su sepulcro está con nosotros hasta del día de hoy.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

“Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Pero siendo profeta, y teniendo en cuenta el juramento que Dios le había dado, que del fruto de su cuerpo uno tomaría su lugar como un rey,

Empero siendo profeta, y sabiendo que con juramento le había Dios jurado que del fruto de su lomo, cuanto á la carne, levantaría al Cristo que se sentaría sobre su trono;

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Él, teniendo conocimiento del futuro, estaba hablando de la venida otra vez de Cristo de entre los muertos, que no fue guardado en el infierno y su cuerpo no vio destrucción.

Viéndolo antes, habló de la resurrección de Cristo, que su alma no fué dejada en el infierno, ni su carne vió corrupción.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay.

Este Jesús, Dios ha devuelto a la vida, de lo cual todos somos testigos.

A este Jesús resucitó Dios, de lo cual todos nosotros somos testigos.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses.

Y así, siendo levantado a la diestra de Dios, y teniendo la palabra del Padre de que vendría el Espíritu Santo, él ha derramado esto, que ahora ven y conocen.

Así que, levantado por la diestra de Dios, y recibiendo del Padre la promesa del Espíritu Santo, ha derramado esto que vosotros veis y oís.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.

Porque David no subió al cielo, sino que dice: El Señor dijo a mi Señor: Sé sentado a mi diestra,

Porque David no subió á los cielos; empero él dice: Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra,

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

For David didn’t ascend into the heavens, but he says himself, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit by my right hand

Hasta que ponga a tus enemigos como estrado de tus pies.

Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’

Por esta razón, que todo Israel esté seguro de que este Jesús, a quien ustedes crucificaron, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.

Sepa pues ciertísimamente toda la casa de Israel, que á éste Jesús que vosotros crucificasteis, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

“Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Cuando estas palabras llegaron a sus oídos, se turbaron sus corazones, y dijeron a Pedro y a los demás apóstoles: Hermanos, ¿qué hemos de hacer?

Entonces oído esto, fueron compungidos de corazón, y dijeron á Pedro y á los otros apóstoles: Varones hermanos, ¿qué haremos?

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Y Pedro dijo: Arrepiéntanse, cada uno de ustedes, y bautícese en el nombre de Jesucristo, para el perdón de sus pecados; y se les dará el Espíritu Santo.

Y Pedro les dice: Arrepentíos, y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de los pecados; y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Porque la palabra de Dios es para ustedes, y para sus hijos, y para todos los que están lejos, para todos los que sean llamados por el Señor nuestro Dios.

Porque para vosotros es la promesa, y para vuestros hijos, y para todos los que están lejos; para cuantos el Señor nuestro Dios llamare.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

Y con estas y más palabras dio su testimonio, y les exhortaba diciendo : salgan de esta generación mala.

Y con otras muchas palabras testificaba y exhortaba, diciendo: Sed salvos de esta perversa generación.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

With many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!”

Entonces aquellos que oyeron sus palabras fueron bautizados, y como tres mil personas se unieron a ellos ese día.

Así que, los que recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados: y fueron añadidas á ellos aquel día como tres mil personas.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Y mantuvieron su atención fija en la enseñanza de los Apóstoles, en la comunión unos con otros y se unieron en la toma del pan partido y en la oración.

Y perseveraban en la doctrina de los apóstoles, y en la comunión, y en el partimiento del pan, y en las oraciones.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Pero el temor vino sobre todas las almas; y toda clase de maravillas y señales fueron hechas por los Apóstoles.

Y toda persona tenía temor: y muchas maravillas y señales eran hechas por los apóstoles.

And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

Y todos los que eran de la fe se mantuvieron unidos, y tenían todas las cosas en común;

Y todos los que creían estaban juntos; y tenían todas las cosas comunes;

And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

E intercambiaron sus bienes y propiedades por dinero, dividieron entre ellos a todos, según lo necesitaban.

Y vendían las posesiones, y las haciendas, y repartíanlas á todos, como cada uno había menester.

And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Y día tras día, yendo juntos de común acuerdo al Templo, juntos partiendo el pan en sus casas, tomaron sus alimentos con alegría y con sencillez de corazón,

Y perseverando unánimes cada día en el templo, y partiendo el pan en las casas, comían juntos con alegría y con sencillez de corazón,

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,

Dando gloria a Dios y teniendo la aprobación de todo el pueblo; y cada día el Señor aumentaba el número de aquellos que tenían salvación.

Alabando á Dios, y teniendo gracia con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día á la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
