Le jour de la Pentecôte étant arrivé, ils étaient tous ensemble en un même lieu.

Et ils virent paraître comme des langues de feu qui se partagèrent et se posèrent sur chacun d'eux.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Ils étaient tous dans l'étonnement, et, ne sachant que penser, ils se disaient les uns aux autres : " Qu'est-ce que cela pourrait bien être ? "

Y estaban todos atónitos y perplejos, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Qué quiere ser esto?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

D'autres disaient en se moquant : " Ils sont pleins de vin nouveau. "

Mas otros burlándose, decían: Que están llenos de mosto.

Alors Pierre, se présentant avec les Onze, éleva la voix et leur dit : " Juifs, et vous tous qui séjournez à Jérusalem, sachez bien ceci, et prêtez l'oreille à mes paroles :

Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó su voz, y hablóles diciendo: Varones Judíos, y todos los que habitáis en Jerusalem, esto os sea notorio, y oid mis palabras.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.

Oui, dans ces jours-là, je répandrai de mon Esprit sur mes serviteurs et sur mes servantes, et ils prophétiseront.

Y de cierto sobre mis siervos y sobre mis siervas en aquellos días derramaré de mi Espíritu, y profetizarán.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

le soleil se changera en ténèbres, et la lune en sang, avant que vienne le jour du Seigneur, le jour grand et glorieux.

El sol se volverá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día del Señor, grande y manifiesto;

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

Alors quiconque invoquera le nom du Seigneur sera sauvé. —

Y será que todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor, será salvo.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Enfants d'Israël, écoutez ces paroles : Jésus de Nazareth, cet homme à qui Dieu a rendu témoignage pour vous par les prodiges, les miracles et les signes qu'il a opérés par lui au milieu de vous, comme vous le savez vous-mêmes ;

Varones Israelitas, oid estas palabras: Jesús Nazareno, varón aprobado de Dios entre vosotros en maravillas y prodigios y señales, que Dios hizo por él en medio de vosotros, como también vosotros sabéis;

cet homme ayant été livré selon le dessein immuable et la prescience de Dieu, vous l'avez attaché à la croix et mis à mort par la main des impies.

A éste, entregado por determinado consejo y providencia de Dios, prendisteis y matasteis por manos de los inicuos, crucificándole;

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Dieu l'a ressuscité, en le délivrant des douleurs de la mort, parce qu'il n'était pas possible qu'il fût retenu par elle.

C'est pourquoi mon cœur est dans la joie, et ma langue dans l'allégresse, et ma chair aussi reposera dans l'espérance ;

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

car vous ne laisserez pas mon âme dans le séjour des morts, et vous ne permettrez pas que votre Saint voie la corruption.

Que no dejarás mi alma en el infierno, ni darás á tu Santo que vea corrupción.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

Vous m'avez fait connaître les sentiers de la vie, et vous me remplirez de joie en me montrant votre visage. "

Hicísteme notorios los caminos de la vida; me henchirás de gozo con tu presencia.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

Mes frères, qu'il me soit permis de vous dire en toute franchise, au sujet du patriarche David, qu'il est mort, qu'il a été enseveli, et que son sépulcre est encore aujourd'hui parmi nous.

Varones hermanos, se os puede libremente decir del patriarca David, que murió, y fué sepultado, y su sepulcro está con nosotros hasta del día de hoy.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

“Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Comme il était prophète, et qu'il savait que Dieu lui avait promis avec serment de faire asseoir sur son trône un fils de son sang,

Empero siendo profeta, y sabiendo que con juramento le había Dios jurado que del fruto de su lomo, cuanto á la carne, levantaría al Cristo que se sentaría sobre su trono;

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

c'est la résurrection du Christ qu'il a vue d'avance, en disant que son âme ne serait pas laissée dans le séjour des morts, et que sa chair ne verrait pas la corruption.

Viéndolo antes, habló de la resurrección de Cristo, que su alma no fué dejada en el infierno, ni su carne vió corrupción.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

C'est ce Jésus que Dieu a ressuscité ; nous en sommes tous témoins.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

jusqu'à ce que je fasse de vos ennemis l'escabeau de vos pieds. "

Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’

Que toute la maison d'Israël sache donc avec certitude que Dieu a fait Seigneur et Christ ce Jésus que vous avez crucifié. "

Sepa pues ciertísimamente toda la casa de Israel, que á éste Jesús que vosotros crucificasteis, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

“Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Le cœur transpercé par ce discours, ils dirent à Pierre et aux autres apôtres : " Frères, que ferons-nous ? "

Entonces oído esto, fueron compungidos de corazón, y dijeron á Pedro y á los otros apóstoles: Varones hermanos, ¿qué haremos?

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Pierre leur répondit : " Repentez-vous, et que chacun de vous soit baptisé au nom de Jésus-Christ pour obtenir le pardon de vos péchés ; et vous recevrez le don du Saint-Esprit.

Y Pedro les dice: Arrepentíos, y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de los pecados; y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Car la promesse est pour vous, pour vos enfants, et pour tous ceux qui sont au loin, en aussi grand nombre que le Seigneur notre Dieu les appellera. "

Porque para vosotros es la promesa, y para vuestros hijos, y para todos los que están lejos; para cuantos el Señor nuestro Dios llamare.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Et par beaucoup d'autres paroles il les pressait et les exhortait en disant : " Sauvez-vous du milieu de cette génération perverse. "

Y con otras muchas palabras testificaba y exhortaba, diciendo: Sed salvos de esta perversa generación.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Ceux qui reçurent la parole de Pierre furent baptisés ; et ce jour-là le nombre des disciples s'augmenta de trois mille personnes environ.

Así que, los que recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados: y fueron añadidas á ellos aquel día como tres mil personas.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

louant Dieu et ayant la faveur de tout le peuple. Et le Seigneur ajoutait chaque jour au nombre de ceux qui étaient dans la voie du salut.

Alabando á Dios, y teniendo gracia con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día á la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos.
