E COME il giorno della Pentecosta fu giunto, tutti erano insieme di pari consentimento.

Y COMO se cumplieron los días de Pentecostés, estaban todos unánimes juntos;

E di subito si fece dal cielo un suono, come di vento impetuoso che soffia, ed esso riempiè tutta la casa, dove essi sedevano.

Y de repente vino un estruendo del cielo como de un viento recio que corría, el cual hinchió toda la casa donde estaban sentados;

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Ed apparvero loro delle lingue spartite, come di fuoco; e ciascuna d'esse si posò sopra ciascun di loro.

Y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, que se asentó sobre cada uno de ellos.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them.

E tutti furono ripieni dello Spirito Santo, e cominciarono a parlar lingue straniere, secondo che lo Spirito dava loro a ragionare.

Y fueron todos llenos del Espíritu Santo, y comenzaron á hablar en otras lenguas, como el Espíritu les daba que hablasen.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Or in Gerusalemme dimoravano dei Giudei, uomini religiosi, d'ogni nazione di sotto il cielo.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Ora, essendosi fatto quel suono, la moltitudine si radunò, e fu confusa; perciocchè ciascun di loro li udiva parlar nel suo proprio linguaggio.

Y hecho este estruendo, juntóse la multitud; y estaban confusos, porque cada uno les oía hablar su propia lengua.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

E tutti stupivano, e si maravigliavano, dicendo gli uni agli altri: Ecco, tutti costoro che parlano non son eglino Galilei?

Y estaban atónitos y maravillados, diciendo: He aquí ¿no son Galileos todos estos que hablan?

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans?

Come adunque li udiam noi parlare ciascuno nel nostro proprio natio linguaggio?

Noi Parti, e Medi, ed Elamiti, e quelli che abitiamo in Mesopotamia, in Giudea, ed in Cappadocia, in Ponto, e nell'Asia;

e Giudei, e proseliti; Cretesi, ed Arabi; li udiamo ragionar le cose grandi di Dio ne' nostri linguaggi.

Cretenses y Arabes, les oímos hablar en nuestras lenguas las maravillas de Dios.

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Cretans and Arabians—we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!”

E tutti stupivano, e ne stavan sospesi, dicendo l'uno all'altro: Che vuol esser questo?

Y estaban todos atónitos y perplejos, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Qué quiere ser esto?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

They were all amazed and were perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”

Ma altri, cavillando, dicevano: Son pieni di vin dolce.

Mas otros burlándose, decían: Que están llenos de mosto.

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Others, mocking, said, “They are filled with new wine.”

MA Pietro, levatosi in piè, con gli undici, alzò la sua voce, e ragionò loro, dicendo: Uomini Giudei, e voi tutti che abitate in Gerusalemme, siavi noto questo, e ricevete le mie parole ne' vostri orecchi.

Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó su voz, y hablóles diciendo: Varones Judíos, y todos los que habitáis en Jerusalem, esto os sea notorio, y oid mis palabras.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Perciocchè costoro non son ebbri, come voi stimate, poichè non sono più che le tre ore del giorno.

Porque éstos no están borrachos, como vosotros pensáis, siendo la hora tercia del día;

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Ma quest'è quello che fu detto dal profeta Gioele:

Ed avverrà negli ultimi giorni, dice Iddio, che io spanderò del mio Spirito sopra ogni carne; e i vostri figliuoli, e le vostre figliuole profetizzeranno; e i vostri giovani vedranno delle visioni, e i vostri vecchi sogneranno de' sogni.

Y será en los postreros días, dice Dios, derramaré de mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas profetizarán; y vuestros mancebos verán visiones, y vuestros viejos soñarán sueños:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.

E in quei giorni io spanderò dello Spirito mio sopra i miei servitori, e sopra le mie serventi; e profetizzeranno.

Y de cierto sobre mis siervos y sobre mis siervas en aquellos días derramaré de mi Espíritu, y profetizarán.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.

E farò prodigi di sopra nel cielo, e segni di sotto in terra, sangue, e fuoco, e vapor di fumo.

Y daré prodigios arriba en el cielo, y señales abajo en la tierra, sangre y fuego y vapor de humo:

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.

Il sole sarà mutato in tenebre, e la luna in sangue; innanzi che quel grande ed illustre giorno del Signore venga.

El sol se volverá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día del Señor, grande y manifiesto;

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

Ed avverrà, che chiunque avrà invocato il nome del Signore sarà salvo.

Y será que todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor, será salvo.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Uomini Israeliti, udite queste parole: Gesù il Nazareo, uomo di cui Iddio vi ha date delle prove certe con potenti operazioni, e prodigi, e segni, i quali Iddio fece per lui fra voi, come ancora voi sapete;

Varones Israelitas, oid estas palabras: Jesús Nazareno, varón aprobado de Dios entre vosotros en maravillas y prodigios y señales, que Dios hizo por él en medio de vosotros, como también vosotros sabéis;

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

“Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,

esso, dico, per lo determinato consiglio, e la provvidenza di Dio, vi fu dato nelle mani, e voi lo pigliaste, e per mani d'iniqui lo conficcaste in croce, e l'uccideste.

A éste, entregado por determinado consejo y providencia de Dios, prendisteis y matasteis por manos de los inicuos, crucificándole;

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;

Il quale Iddio ha suscitato, avendo sciolte le doglie della morte; poichè non era possibile ch'egli fosse da essa ritenuto.

Al cual Dios levantó, sueltos los dolores de la muerte, por cuanto era imposible ser detenido de ella.

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Perciocchè Davide dice di lui: Io ho avuto del continuo il Signore davanti agli occhi; perciocchè egli è alla mia destra, acciocchè io non sia smosso.

Porque David dice de él: Veía al Señor siempre delante de mí: porque está á mi diestra, no seré conmovido.

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

For David says concerning him, ‘I saw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.

Perciò si è rallegrato il cuor mio, ed ha giubilato la lingua mia, ed anche la mia carne abiterà in isperanza.

Por lo cual mi corazón se alegró, y gozóse mi lengua; y aun mi carne descansará en esperanza;

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope,

Perciocchè tu non lascerai l'anima mia ne' luoghi sotterra, e non permetterai che il tuo Santo vegga corruzione.

Que no dejarás mi alma en el infierno, ni darás á tu Santo que vea corrupción.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

Tu mi hai fatte conoscer le vie della vita, tu mi riempirai di letizia colla tua presenza.

Hicísteme notorios los caminos de la vida; me henchirás de gozo con tu presencia.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

Uomini fratelli, ben può liberamente dirvisi intorno al patriarca Davide, che egli è morto, ed è stato seppellito; e il suo monumento è presso noi infino a questo giorno.

Varones hermanos, se os puede libremente decir del patriarca David, que murió, y fué sepultado, y su sepulcro está con nosotros hasta del día de hoy.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

“Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Egli adunque, essendo profeta, e sapendo che Iddio gli avea con giuramento promesso, che del frutto dei suoi lombi, secondo la carne, susciterebbe il Cristo, per farlo seder sopra il suo trono;

Empero siendo profeta, y sabiendo que con juramento le había Dios jurado que del fruto de su lomo, cuanto á la carne, levantaría al Cristo que se sentaría sobre su trono;

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

antivedendo le cose avvenire, parlò della risurrezion di Cristo, dicendo che l'anima sua non è stata lasciata ne' luoghi sotterra, e che la sua carne non ha veduta corruzione.

Viéndolo antes, habló de la resurrección de Cristo, que su alma no fué dejada en el infierno, ni su carne vió corrupción.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay.

Esso Gesù ha Iddio suscitato, di che noi tutti siam testimoni.

A este Jesús resucitó Dios, de lo cual todos nosotros somos testigos.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses.

Egli adunque, essendo stato innalzato dalla destra di Dio, ed avendo ricevuta dal Padre la promessa dello Spirito Santo, ha sparso quello che ora voi vedete, ed udite.

Así que, levantado por la diestra de Dios, y recibiendo del Padre la promesa del Espíritu Santo, ha derramado esto que vosotros veis y oís.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.

Poichè Davide non è salito in cielo; anzi egli stesso dice: Il Signore ha detto al mio Signore:

Porque David no subió á los cielos; empero él dice: Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra,

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

For David didn’t ascend into the heavens, but he says himself, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit by my right hand

Siedi alla mia destra, finchè io abbia posti i tuoi nemici per iscannello de' tuoi piedi.

Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’

Sappia adunque sicuramente tutta la casa d'Israele, che quel Gesù, che voi avete crocifisso, Iddio l'ha fatto Signore, e Cristo.

Sepa pues ciertísimamente toda la casa de Israel, que á éste Jesús que vosotros crucificasteis, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

“Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

OR essi, avendo udite queste cose, furon compunti nel cuore, e dissero a Pietro, ed agli altri apostoli: Fratelli, che dobbiam fare?

Entonces oído esto, fueron compungidos de corazón, y dijeron á Pedro y á los otros apóstoles: Varones hermanos, ¿qué haremos?

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

E Pietro disse loro: Ravvedetevi, e ciascun di voi sia battezzato nel nome di Gesù Cristo, in remission de' peccati; e voi riceverete il dono dello Spirito Santo.

Y Pedro les dice: Arrepentíos, y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de los pecados; y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Perciocchè a voi è fatta la promessa, ed a' vostri figliuoli, ed a coloro che verranno per molto tempo appresso; a quanti il Signore Iddio nostro ne chiamerà.

Porque para vosotros es la promesa, y para vuestros hijos, y para todos los que están lejos; para cuantos el Señor nuestro Dios llamare.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

E con molte parole protestava loro, e li confortava, dicendo: Salvatevi da questa perversa generazione.

Y con otras muchas palabras testificaba y exhortaba, diciendo: Sed salvos de esta perversa generación.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

With many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!”

Coloro adunque, i quali volonterosamente ricevettero la sua parola, furono battezzati; e in quel giorno furono aggiunte intorno a tremila persone.

Así que, los que recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados: y fueron añadidas á ellos aquel día como tres mil personas.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.

Or erano perseveranti nella dottrina degli apostoli, e nella comunione, e nel rompere il pane, e nelle orazioni.

Y perseveraban en la doctrina de los apóstoles, y en la comunión, y en el partimiento del pan, y en las oraciones.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Ed ogni persona avea timore; e molti segni e miracoli si facevano dagli apostoli.

Y toda persona tenía temor: y muchas maravillas y señales eran hechas por los apóstoles.

And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

E tutti coloro che credevano erano insieme, ed aveano ogni cosa comune;

Y todos los que creían estaban juntos; y tenían todas las cosas comunes;

e vendevano le possessioni, ed i beni; e li distribuivano a tutti, secondo che ciascuno ne avea bisogno.

And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

E perseveravano di pari consentimento ad esser tutti i giorni nel tempio; e rompendo il pane di casa in casa, prendevano il cibo insieme, con letizia, e semplicità di cuore,

Y perseverando unánimes cada día en el templo, y partiendo el pan en las casas, comían juntos con alegría y con sencillez de corazón,

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,

lodando Iddio, ed avendo grazia presso tutto il popolo. E il Signore aggiungeva alla chiesa ogni giorno coloro che erano salvati.

Alabando á Dios, y teniendo gracia con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día á la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
