1Und als der Tag der Pfingsten erfüllt war, waren sie alle einmütig beieinander.
2Und es geschah schnell ein Brausen vom Himmel wie eines gewaltigen Windes und erfüllte das ganze Haus, da sie saßen.
3Und es erschienen ihnen Zungen, zerteilt, wie von Feuer; und er setzte sich auf einen jeglichen unter ihnen;
4und sie wurden alle voll des Heiligen Geistes und fingen an, zu predigen mit anderen Zungen, nach dem der Geist ihnen gab auszusprechen.
5Es waren aber Juden zu Jerusalem wohnend, die waren gottesfürchtige Männer aus allerlei Volk, das unter dem Himmel ist.
6Da nun diese Stimme geschah, kam die Menge zusammen und wurden bestürzt; denn es hörte ein jeglicher, daß sie mit seiner Sprache redeten.
7Sie entsetzten sich aber alle, verwunderten sich und sprachen untereinander: Siehe, sind nicht diese alle, die da reden, aus Galiläa?
8Wie hören wir denn ein jeglicher seine Sprache, darin wir geboren sind?
9Parther und Meder und Elamiter, und die wir wohnen in Mesopotamien und in Judäa und Kappadozien, Pontus und Asien,
10Phrygien und Pamphylien, Ägypten und an den Enden von Lybien bei Kyrene und Ausländer von Rom,
11Juden und Judengenossen, Kreter und Araber: wir hören sie mit unsern Zungen die großen Taten Gottes reden.
12Sie entsetzten sich aber alle und wurden irre und sprachen einer zu dem andern: Was will das werden?
13Die andern aber hatten's ihren Spott und sprachen: Sie sind voll süßen Weins.
14Da trat Petrus auf mit den Elfen, erhob seine Stimme und redete zu ihnen: Ihr Juden, liebe Männer, und alle, die ihr zu Jerusalem wohnet, das sei euch kundgetan, und lasset meine Worte zu euren Ohren eingehen.
15Denn diese sind nicht trunken, wie ihr wähnet, sintemal es ist die dritte Stunde am Tage;
16sondern das ist's, was durch den Propheten Joel zuvor gesagt ist:
17“Und es soll geschehen in den letzten Tagen, spricht Gott, ich will ausgießen von meinem Geist auf alles Fleisch; und eure Söhne und eure Töchter sollen weissagen, und eure Jünglinge sollen Gesichte sehen, und eure Ältesten sollen Träume haben;
18und auf meine Knechte und auf meine Mägde will ich in denselben Tagen von meinem Geist ausgießen, und sie sollen weissagen.
19Und ich will Wunder tun oben im Himmel und Zeichen unten auf Erden: Blut und Feuer und Rauchdampf;
20die Sonne soll sich verkehren in Finsternis und der Mond in Blut, ehe denn der große und offenbare Tag des HERRN kommt.
21Und soll geschehen, wer den Namen des HERRN anrufen wird, der soll selig werden.”
22Ihr Männer von Israel, höret diese Worte: Jesum von Nazareth, den Mann, von Gott unter euch mit Taten und Wundern und Zeichen erwiesen, welche Gott durch ihn tat unter euch (wie denn auch ihr selbst wisset),
23denselben (nachdem er aus bedachtem Rat und Vorsehung Gottes übergeben war) habt ihr genommen durch die Hände der Ungerechten und ihn angeheftet und erwürgt.
24Den hat Gott auferweckt, und aufgelöst die Schmerzen des Todes, wie es denn unmöglich war, daß er sollte von ihm gehalten werden.
25Denn David spricht von ihm: “Ich habe den HERRN allezeit vorgesetzt vor mein Angesicht; denn er ist an meiner Rechten, auf daß ich nicht bewegt werde.
26Darum ist mein Herz fröhlich, und meine Zunge freuet sich; denn auch mein Fleisch wird ruhen in der Hoffnung.
27Denn du wirst meine Seele nicht dem Tode lassen, auch nicht zugeben, daß dein Heiliger die Verwesung sehe.
28Du hast mir kundgetan die Wege des Lebens; du wirst mich erfüllen mit Freuden vor deinem Angesicht.”
29Ihr Männer, liebe Brüder, lasset mich frei reden zu euch von dem Erzvater David. Er ist gestorben und begraben, und sein Grab ist bei uns bis auf diesen Tag.
30Da er nun ein Prophet war und wußte, daß ihm Gott verheißen hatte mit einem Eide, daß die Frucht seiner Lenden sollte auf seinem Stuhl sitzen,
31hat er's zuvor gesehen und geredet von der Auferstehung Christi, daß seine Seele nicht dem Tode gelassen ist und sein Fleisch die Verwesung nicht gesehen hat.
32Diesen Jesus hat Gott auferweckt; des sind wir alle Zeugen.
33Nun er durch die Rechte Gottes erhöht ist und empfangen hat die Verheißung des Heiligen Geistes vom Vater, hat er ausgegossen dies, das ihr sehet und höret.
34Denn David ist nicht gen Himmel gefahren. Er spricht aber: “Der HERR hat gesagt zu meinem HERRN: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten,
35bis daß ich deine Feinde lege zum Schemel deiner Füße.”
36So wisse nun das ganze Haus Israel gewiß, daß Gott diesen Jesus, den ihr gekreuzigt habt, zu einem HERRN und Christus gemacht hat.
37Da sie aber das hörten, ging's ihnen durchs Herz, und fragten Petrus und die andern Apostel: Ihr Männer, was sollen wir tun?
38Petrus sprach zu ihnen: Tut Buße und lasse sich ein jeglicher taufen auf den Namen Jesu Christi zur Vergebung der Sünden, so werdet ihr empfangen die Gabe des Heiligen Geistes.
39Denn euer und eurer Kinder ist diese Verheißung und aller, die ferne sind, welche Gott, unser HERR, herzurufen wird.
40Auch mit vielen anderen Worten bezeugte und ermahnte er: Lasset euch erretten aus diesem verkehrten Geschlecht!
41Die nun sein Wort gern annahmen, ließen sich taufen; und wurden hinzugetan an dem Tage bei dreitausend Seelen.
42Sie blieben aber beständig in der Apostel Lehre und in der Gemeinschaft und im Brotbrechen und im Gebet.
43Es kam auch alle Seelen Furcht an, und geschahen viel Wunder und Zeichen durch die Apostel.
44Alle aber, die gläubig waren geworden, waren beieinander und hielten alle Dinge gemein.
45Ihre Güter und Habe verkauften sie und teilten sie aus unter alle, nach dem jedermann not war.
46Und sie waren täglich und stets beieinander einmütig im Tempel und brachen das Brot hin und her in Häusern,
47nahmen die Speise und lobten Gott mit Freuden und einfältigem Herzen und hatten Gnade beim ganzen Volk. Der HERR aber tat hinzu täglich, die da selig wurden, zu der Gemeinde.

1Y COMO se cumplieron los días de Pentecostés, estaban todos unánimes juntos;
2Y de repente vino un estruendo del cielo como de un viento recio que corría, el cual hinchió toda la casa donde estaban sentados;
3Y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, que se asentó sobre cada uno de ellos.
4Y fueron todos llenos del Espíritu Santo, y comenzaron á hablar en otras lenguas, como el Espíritu les daba que hablasen.
5Moraban entonces en Jerusalem Judíos, varones religiosos, de todas las naciones debajo del cielo.
6Y hecho este estruendo, juntóse la multitud; y estaban confusos, porque cada uno les oía hablar su propia lengua.
7Y estaban atónitos y maravillados, diciendo: He aquí ¿no son Galileos todos estos que hablan?
8¿Cómo, pues, les oímos nosotros hablar cada uno en nuestra lengua en que somos nacidos?
9Partos y Medos, y Elamitas, y los que habitamos en Mesopotamia, en Judea y en Capadocia, en el Ponto y en Asia,
10En Phrygia y Pamphylia, en Egipto y en las partes de Africa que está de la otra parte de Cirene, y Romanos extranjeros, tanto Judíos como convertidos,
11Cretenses y Arabes, les oímos hablar en nuestras lenguas las maravillas de Dios.
12Y estaban todos atónitos y perplejos, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Qué quiere ser esto?
13Mas otros burlándose, decían: Que están llenos de mosto.
14Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó su voz, y hablóles diciendo: Varones Judíos, y todos los que habitáis en Jerusalem, esto os sea notorio, y oid mis palabras.
15Porque éstos no están borrachos, como vosotros pensáis, siendo la hora tercia del día;
16Mas esto es lo que fué dicho por el profeta Joel:
17Y será en los postreros días, dice Dios, derramaré de mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas profetizarán; y vuestros mancebos verán visiones, y vuestros viejos soñarán sueños:
18Y de cierto sobre mis siervos y sobre mis siervas en aquellos días derramaré de mi Espíritu, y profetizarán.
19Y daré prodigios arriba en el cielo, y señales abajo en la tierra, sangre y fuego y vapor de humo:
20El sol se volverá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día del Señor, grande y manifiesto;
21Y será que todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor, será salvo.
22Varones Israelitas, oid estas palabras: Jesús Nazareno, varón aprobado de Dios entre vosotros en maravillas y prodigios y señales, que Dios hizo por él en medio de vosotros, como también vosotros sabéis;
23A éste, entregado por determinado consejo y providencia de Dios, prendisteis y matasteis por manos de los inicuos, crucificándole;
24Al cual Dios levantó, sueltos los dolores de la muerte, por cuanto era imposible ser detenido de ella.
25Porque David dice de él: Veía al Señor siempre delante de mí: porque está á mi diestra, no seré conmovido.
26Por lo cual mi corazón se alegró, y gozóse mi lengua; y aun mi carne descansará en esperanza;
27Que no dejarás mi alma en el infierno, ni darás á tu Santo que vea corrupción.
28Hicísteme notorios los caminos de la vida; me henchirás de gozo con tu presencia.
29Varones hermanos, se os puede libremente decir del patriarca David, que murió, y fué sepultado, y su sepulcro está con nosotros hasta del día de hoy.
30Empero siendo profeta, y sabiendo que con juramento le había Dios jurado que del fruto de su lomo, cuanto á la carne, levantaría al Cristo que se sentaría sobre su trono;
31Viéndolo antes, habló de la resurrección de Cristo, que su alma no fué dejada en el infierno, ni su carne vió corrupción.
32A este Jesús resucitó Dios, de lo cual todos nosotros somos testigos.
33Así que, levantado por la diestra de Dios, y recibiendo del Padre la promesa del Espíritu Santo, ha derramado esto que vosotros veis y oís.
34Porque David no subió á los cielos; empero él dice: Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra,
35Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.
36Sepa pues ciertísimamente toda la casa de Israel, que á éste Jesús que vosotros crucificasteis, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.
37Entonces oído esto, fueron compungidos de corazón, y dijeron á Pedro y á los otros apóstoles: Varones hermanos, ¿qué haremos?
38Y Pedro les dice: Arrepentíos, y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de los pecados; y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo.
39Porque para vosotros es la promesa, y para vuestros hijos, y para todos los que están lejos; para cuantos el Señor nuestro Dios llamare.
40Y con otras muchas palabras testificaba y exhortaba, diciendo: Sed salvos de esta perversa generación.
41Así que, los que recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados: y fueron añadidas á ellos aquel día como tres mil personas.
42Y perseveraban en la doctrina de los apóstoles, y en la comunión, y en el partimiento del pan, y en las oraciones.
43Y toda persona tenía temor: y muchas maravillas y señales eran hechas por los apóstoles.
44Y todos los que creían estaban juntos; y tenían todas las cosas comunes;
45Y vendían las posesiones, y las haciendas, y repartíanlas á todos, como cada uno había menester.
46Y perseverando unánimes cada día en el templo, y partiendo el pan en las casas, comían juntos con alegría y con sencillez de corazón,
47Alabando á Dios, y teniendo gracia con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día á la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos.

1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans?
8And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judæa, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
13Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

1Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them.
4They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.
5Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky.
6When this sound was heard, the multitude came together and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.
7They were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Behold, aren’t all these who speak Galileans?
8How do we hear, everyone in our own native language?
9Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia,
10Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
11Cretans and Arabians—we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!”
12They were all amazed and were perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”
13Others, mocking, said, “They are filled with new wine.”
14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, “You men of Judea and all you who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words.
15For these aren’t drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is only the third hour of the day.
16But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel:
17‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.
18Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.
19I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.
20The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.
21It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
22“Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,
23him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;
24whom God raised up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.
25For David says concerning him, ‘I saw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.
26Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope,
27because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.
28You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’
29“Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
30Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,
31he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay.
32This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses.
33Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.
34For David didn’t ascend into the heavens, but he says himself, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit by my right hand
35until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’
36“Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”
37Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”
40With many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!”
41Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.
42They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.
43Fear came on every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
44All who believed were together, and had all things in common.
45They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need.
46Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
47praising God and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.
