Als dann der Tag des Pfingstfestes herbeigekommen war, befanden sie alle sich an einem Ort beisammen.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

und es erschienen ihnen Zungen wie von Feuer, die sich (in Flämmchen) zerteilten und von denen sich eine auf jeden von ihnen niederließ;

Y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, que se asentó sobre cada uno de ellos.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

und sie wurden alle mit heiligem Geist erfüllt und begannen in anderen Zungen zu reden, wie der Geist es ihnen eingab auszusprechen.

Nun waren aber Juden in Jerusalem wohnhaft, gottesfürchtige Männer aus allen Völkern unter dem Himmel.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Als nun dieses Brausen erfolgt war, kamen sie in großer Zahl zusammen und gerieten in Bestürzung; denn jeder hörte sie in seiner eigenen Sprache reden.

Y hecho este estruendo, juntóse la multitud; y estaban confusos, porque cada uno les oía hablar su propia lengua.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Da wurden sie alle betroffen und fragten voll Verwunderung: »Sind nicht diese alle, die da reden, aus Galiläa?

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans?

Cretenses y Arabes, les oímos hablar en nuestras lenguas las maravillas de Dios.

So waren sie alle betroffen und ratlos und sagten einer zum anderen: »Was hat das zu bedeuten?«

Y estaban todos atónitos y perplejos, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Qué quiere ser esto?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Andere aber spotteten und sagten: »Sie sind voll süßen Weins!«

Mas otros burlándose, decían: Que están llenos de mosto.

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Da trat Petrus im Verein mit den Elfen auf und redete sie mit laut erhobener Stimme so an: »Ihr jüdischen Männer und ihr anderen alle, die ihr in Jerusalem wohnt: dies sei euch kundgetan und schenkt meinen Worten Gehör!

Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó su voz, y hablóles diciendo: Varones Judíos, y todos los que habitáis en Jerusalem, esto os sea notorio, y oid mis palabras.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Diese Männer hier sind nicht betrunken, wie ihr meint – es ist ja erst die dritte Stunde des Tages –,

Porque éstos no están borrachos, como vosotros pensáis, siendo la hora tercia del día;

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

nein, hier erfüllt sich die Verheißung des Propheten Joel (3,1-5):

Y será en los postreros días, dice Dios, derramaré de mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas profetizarán; y vuestros mancebos verán visiones, y vuestros viejos soñarán sueños:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.

ja, sogar auf meine Knechte und auf meine Mägde werde ich in jenen Tagen von meinem Geist ausgießen, so daß sie prophetisch reden.

Y de cierto sobre mis siervos y sobre mis siervas en aquellos días derramaré de mi Espíritu, y profetizarán.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Und ich werde Wunderzeichen erscheinen lassen oben am Himmel und Wahrzeichen unten auf der Erde: Blut und Feuer und Rauchwolken.

Y daré prodigios arriba en el cielo, y señales abajo en la tierra, sangre y fuego y vapor de humo:

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.

Die Sonne wird sich in Finsternis verwandeln und der Mond in Blut, bevor der Tag des Herrn kommt, der große und herrliche.

El sol se volverá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día del Señor, grande y manifiesto;

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

Und es wird geschehen: Jeder, der den Namen des Herrn anruft, wird gerettet werden.‹«

Y será que todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor, será salvo.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

»Ihr Männer von Israel, vernehmt diese Worte! Jesus von Nazareth, einen Mann, der als Gottgesandter durch Machttaten, Wunder und Zeichen, die Gott durch ihn in eurer Mitte getan hat, wie ihr selbst wißt, vor euch erwiesen worden ist –

Varones Israelitas, oid estas palabras: Jesús Nazareno, varón aprobado de Dios entre vosotros en maravillas y prodigios y señales, que Dios hizo por él en medio de vosotros, como también vosotros sabéis;

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

“Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,

diesen Mann, der nach dem festgesetzten Ratschluß und der Vorherbestimmung Gottes euch preisgegeben war, habt ihr durch die Hand der Gesetzlosen ans Kreuz nageln und hinrichten lassen.

A éste, entregado por determinado consejo y providencia de Dios, prendisteis y matasteis por manos de los inicuos, crucificándole;

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;

Gott aber hat ihn auferweckt, indem er die Wehen des Todes löste, weil er ja unmöglich vom Tode festgehalten werden konnte.

Al cual Dios levantó, sueltos los dolores de la muerte, por cuanto era imposible ser detenido de ella.

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

David sagt ja mit Bezug auf ihn: ›Ich habe den Herrn allezeit vor meinen Augen gesehen, denn er steht mir zur Rechten, damit ich nicht wanke.

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

Deshalb freute sich mein Herz, und meine Zunge frohlockte; zudem wird auch mein Leib in Hoffnung ruhen;

Por lo cual mi corazón se alegró, y gozóse mi lengua; y aun mi carne descansará en esperanza;

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope,

denn du wirst meine Seele nicht im Totenreich belassen und nicht zugeben, daß dein Heiliger die Verwesung sieht.

Que no dejarás mi alma en el infierno, ni darás á tu Santo que vea corrupción.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

Du hast mir Wege des Lebens kundgetan; du wirst mich mit Freude erfüllen vor deinem Angesicht.‹

Hicísteme notorios los caminos de la vida; me henchirás de gozo con tu presencia.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

Werte Brüder! Ich darf mit Freimütigkeit zu euch vom Erzvater David reden: er ist gestorben und ist begraben worden, und sein Grabmal befindet sich bis auf den heutigen Tag hier bei uns.

Varones hermanos, se os puede libremente decir del patriarca David, que murió, y fué sepultado, y su sepulcro está con nosotros hasta del día de hoy.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

“Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Weil er nun ein Prophet war und wußte, daß Gott ihm mit einem Eide zugeschworen hatte, es solle einer von seinen leiblichen Nachkommen auf seinem Throne sitzen,

Empero siendo profeta, y sabiendo que con juramento le había Dios jurado que del fruto de su lomo, cuanto á la carne, levantaría al Cristo que se sentaría sobre su trono;

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

so hat er vorausschauend von der Auferstehung Christi geredet, daß dieser nämlich weder dem Totenreich überlassen worden ist noch sein Leib die Verwesung gesehen hat.

Viéndolo antes, habló de la resurrección de Cristo, que su alma no fué dejada en el infierno, ni su carne vió corrupción.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay.

Diesen Jesus hat Gott auferweckt: dafür sind wir alle Zeugen!

A este Jesús resucitó Dios, de lo cual todos nosotros somos testigos.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Nachdem er nun durch die Rechte Gottes erhöht worden ist und den verheißenen heiligen Geist empfangen hat vom Vater, hat er jetzt diesen (Geist), wie ihr selbst seht und hört, hier ausgegossen.

Así que, levantado por la diestra de Dios, y recibiendo del Padre la promesa del Espíritu Santo, ha derramado esto que vosotros veis y oís.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Denn nicht David ist in die Himmel hinaufgefahren; wohl aber sagt er selbst: ›Der Herr hat zu meinem Herrn gesagt: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten,

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

bis ich deine Feinde hinlege zum Schemel deiner Füße!‹

Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’

So möge denn das ganze Haus Israel mit Sicherheit erkennen, daß Gott ihn zum Herrn und zum Christus gemacht hat, eben diesen Jesus, den ihr gekreuzigt habt!«

Sepa pues ciertísimamente toda la casa de Israel, que á éste Jesús que vosotros crucificasteis, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

“Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Als sie das hörten, ging es ihnen wie ein Stich durchs Herz, und sie wandten sich an Petrus und die anderen Apostel mit der Frage: »Was sollen wir tun, werte Brüder?«

Entonces oído esto, fueron compungidos de corazón, y dijeron á Pedro y á los otros apóstoles: Varones hermanos, ¿qué haremos?

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Da antwortete ihnen Petrus: »Tut Buße und laßt euch ein jeder auf den Namen Jesu Christi zur Vergebung eurer Sünden taufen, dann werdet ihr die Gabe des heiligen Geistes empfangen.

Y Pedro les dice: Arrepentíos, y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de los pecados; y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Denn euch gilt die Verheißung und euren Kindern und allen, die noch fern stehen, soviele ihrer der Herr, unser Gott, berufen wird.«

Porque para vosotros es la promesa, y para vuestros hijos, y para todos los que están lejos; para cuantos el Señor nuestro Dios llamare.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

Auch noch mit vielen anderen Worten redete er ihnen eindringlich zu und ermahnte sie: »Laßt euch aus diesem verkehrten Geschlecht erretten!«

Y con otras muchas palabras testificaba y exhortaba, diciendo: Sed salvos de esta perversa generación.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Die nun sein Wort annahmen, ließen sich taufen, und so kamen an jenem Tage etwa dreitausend Seelen (zu der Gemeinde) hinzu.

Así que, los que recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados: y fueron añadidas á ellos aquel día como tres mil personas.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Sie hielten aber beharrlich fest an der Lehre der Apostel und an der (brüderlichen) Gemeinschaft, am Brechen des Brotes und an den (gemeinsamen) Gebeten.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Und über jedermann (im Volk) kam Furcht, und viele Wunder und Zeichen geschahen durch die Apostel.

Alle Gläubiggewordenen aber waren beisammen und hatten alles gemeinsam;

sie verkauften ihre Besitztümer und ihre Habe und verteilten (den Erlös) unter alle nach Maßgabe der Bedürftigkeit eines jeden;

And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

und indem sie am täglichen Besuch des Tempels mit Einmütigkeit festhielten und das Brot in den einzelnen Häusern brachen, genossen sie ihre (tägliche) Nahrung mit Frohlocken und in Herzenseinfalt,

Y perseverando unánimes cada día en el templo, y partiendo el pan en las casas, comían juntos con alegría y con sencillez de corazón,

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

priesen Gott und standen mit dem ganzen Volk in gutem Einvernehmen. Der Herr aber fügte täglich solche, die gerettet wurden, zu festem Anschluß hinzu.

Alabando á Dios, y teniendo gracia con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día á la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
