1Petrus aber und Johannes gingen zusammen hinauf in den Tempel um die Stunde des Gebets, die neunte.
2Und ein gewisser Mann, der von seiner Mutter Leibe an lahm war, wurde getragen, welchen sie täglich an die Pforte des Tempels setzten, die man die schöne nennt, um Almosen zu erbitten von denen, die in den Tempel gingen.
3Als dieser Petrus und Johannes sah, wie sie in den Tempel eintreten wollten, bat er, daß er ein Almosen empfinge.
4Petrus aber blickte unverwandt mit Johannes auf ihn hin und sprach: Sieh uns an!
5Er aber gab acht auf sie, in der Erwartung, etwas von ihnen zu empfangen.
6Petrus aber sprach: Silber und Gold habe ich nicht; was ich aber habe, das gebe ich dir: In dem Namen Jesu Christi, des Nazaräers, [stehe auf und] wandle!
7Und er ergriff ihn bei der rechten Hand und richtete ihn auf. Alsbald aber wurden seine Füße und seine Knöchel stark,
8und aufspringend stand er und wandelte; und er ging mit ihnen in den Tempel, wandelte und sprang und lobte Gott.
9Und das ganze Volk sah ihn wandeln und Gott loben;
10und sie erkannten ihn, daß er der war, welcher um das Almosen an der schönen Pforte des Tempels gesessen; und sie wurden mit Verwunderung und Erstaunen erfüllt über das, was sich mit ihm ereignet hatte.
11Während er aber den Petrus und Johannes festhielt, lief das ganze Volk voll Erstaunen zu ihnen zusammen in der Säulenhalle die Salomonshalle genannt wird.
12Als aber Petrus es sah, antwortete er dem Volke: Männer von Israel, was verwundert ihr euch hierüber, oder was sehet ihr unverwandt auf uns, als hätten wir aus eigener Kraft oder Frömmigkeit ihn wandeln gemacht?
13Der Gott Abrahams und Isaaks und Jakobs, der Gott unserer Väter, hat seinen Knecht Jesus verherrlicht, den ihr überliefert und angesichts des Pilatus verleugnet habt, als dieser geurteilt hatte, ihn loszugeben.
14Ihr aber habt den Heiligen und Gerechten verleugnet und gebeten, daß euch ein Mann, der ein Mörder war, geschenkt würde;
15den Urheber des Lebens aber habt ihr getötet, welchen Gott aus den Toten auferweckt hat, wovon wir Zeugen sind.
16Und durch Glauben an seinen Namen hat sein Name diesen, den ihr sehet und kennet, stark gemacht; und der Glaube, der durch ihn ist, hat ihm diese vollkommene Gesundheit gegeben vor euch allen.
17Und jetzt, Brüder, ich weiß, daß ihr in Unwissenheit gehandelt habt, gleichwie auch eure Obersten.
18Gott aber hat also erfüllt, was er durch den Mund aller Propheten zuvor verkündigt hat, daß sein Christus leiden sollte.
19So tut nun Buße und bekehret euch, daß eure Sünden ausgetilgt werden, damit Zeiten der Erquickung kommen vom Angesicht des Herrn,
20und er den euch zuvorverordneten Jesus Christus sende,
21welchen freilich der Himmel aufnehmen muß bis zu den Zeiten der Wiederherstellung aller Dinge, von welchen Gott durch den Mund seiner heiligen Propheten von jeher geredet hat.
22Moses hat schon gesagt: “Einen Propheten wird euch der Herr, euer Gott, aus euren Brüdern erwecken, gleich mir; auf ihn sollt ihr hören in allem, was irgend er zu euch reden wird.
23Es wird aber geschehen, jede Seele, die irgend auf jenen Propheten nicht hören wird, soll aus dem Volke ausgerottet werden.”
24Aber auch alle Propheten, von Samuel an und der Reihe nach, so viele ihrer geredet haben, haben auch diese Tage verkündigt.
25Ihr seid die Söhne der Propheten und des Bundes, den Gott unseren Vätern verordnet hat, indem er zu Abraham sprach: “Und in deinem Samen werden gesegnet werden alle Geschlechter der Erde”.
26Euch zuerst hat Gott, als er seinen Knecht erweckte, ihn gesandt, euch zu segnen, indem er einen jeden von euren Bosheiten abwendet.

1PEDRO y Juan subían juntos al templo á la hora de oración, la de nona.
2Y un hombre que era cojo desde el vientre de su madre, era traído; al cual ponían cada día á la puerta del templo que se llama la Hermosa, para que pidiese limosna de los que entraban en el templo.
3Este, como vió á Pedro y á Juan que iban á entrar en el templo, rogaba que le diesen limosna.
4Y Pedro, con Juan, fijando los ojos en él, dijo: Mira á nosotros.
5Entonces él estuvo atento á ellos, esperando recibir de ellos algo.
6Y Pedro dijo: Ni tengo plata ni oro; mas lo que tengo te doy: en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, levántate y anda.
7Y tomándole por la mano derecha le levantó: y luego fueron afirmados sus pies y tobillos;
8Y saltando, se puso en pie, y anduvo; y entró con ellos en el templo, andando, y saltando, y alabando á Dios.
9Y todo el pueblo le vió andar y alabar á Dios.
10Y conocían que él era el que se sentaba á la limosna á la puerta del templo, la Hermosa: y fueron llenos de asombro y de espanto por lo que le había acontecido.
11Y teniendo á Pedro y á Juan el cojo que había sido sanado, todo el pueblo concurrió á ellos al pórtico que se llama de Salomón, atónitos.
12Y viendo esto Pedro, respondió al pueblo: Varones Israelitas, ¿por qué os maravilláis de esto? ó ¿por qué ponéis los ojos en nosotros, como si con nuestra virtud ó piedad hubiésemos hecho andar á éste?
13El Dios de Abraham, y de Isaac, y de Jacob, el Dios de nuestros padres ha glorificado á su Hijo Jesús, al cual vosotros entregasteis, y negasteis delante de Pilato, juzgando él que había de ser suelto.
14Mas vosotros al Santo y al Justo negasteis, y pedisteis que se os diese un homicida;
15Y matasteis al Autor de la vida, al cual Dios ha resucitado de los muertos; de lo que nosotros somos testigos.
16Y en la fe de su nombre, á éste que vosotros veis y conocéis, ha confirmado su nombre: y la fe que por él es, ha dado á éste esta completa sanidad en presencia de todos vosotros.
17Mas ahora, hermanos, sé que por ignorancia lo habéis hecho, como también vuestros príncipes.
18Empero Dios ha cumplido así lo que había antes anunciado por boca de todos sus profetas, que su Cristo había de padecer.
19Así que, arrepentíos y convertíos, para que sean borrados vuestros pecados; pues que vendrán los tiempos del refrigerio de la presencia del Señor,
20Y enviará á Jesucristo, que os fué antes anunciado:
21Al cual de cierto es menester que el cielo tenga hasta los tiempos de la restauración de todas las cosas, que habló Dios por boca de sus santos profetas que han sido desde el siglo.
22Porque Moisés dijo á los padres: El Señor vuestro Dios os levantará profeta de vuestros hermanos, como yo; á él oiréis en todas las cosas que os hablare.
23Y será, que cualquiera alma que no oyere á aquel profeta, será desarraigada del pueblo.
24Y todos los profetas desde Samuel y en adelante, todos los que han hablado, han anunciado estos días.
25Vosotros sois los hijos de los profetas, y del pacto que Dios concertó con nuestros padres, diciendo á Abraham: Y en tu simiente serán benditas todas las familias de la tierra.
26A vosotros primeramente, Dios, habiendo levantado á su Hijo, le envió para que os bendijese, á fin de que cada uno se convierta de su maldad.

1Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
11And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
12And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
13The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
18But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

1Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
2A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.
3Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.
4Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
5He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
7He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
8Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
9All the people saw him walking and praising God.
10They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
11As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
12When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?
13The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
14But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
15and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.
16By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17“Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
18But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
19“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
20and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,
21whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.
22For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.
23It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
24Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, also told of these days.
25You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘All the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.’
26God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.”
