Petrus und Johannes aber gingen (eines Tages) zusammen um die neunte Stunde, die Gebetsstunde, in den Tempel hinauf.

PEDRO y Juan subían juntos al templo á la hora de oración, la de nona.

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

Da wurde (gerade) ein Mann herbeigetragen, der von seiner Geburt an lahm war und den man täglich an das sogenannte Schöne Tor des Tempels hinsetzte, damit er sich dort Almosen von den Besuchern des Tempels erbitte.

Y un hombre que era cojo desde el vientre de su madre, era traído; al cual ponían cada día á la puerta del templo que se llama la Hermosa, para que pidiese limosna de los que entraban en el templo.

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.

Als dieser nun Petrus und Johannes sah, die in den Tempel hineingehen wollten, bat er sie um ein Almosen.

Este, como vió á Pedro y á Juan que iban á entrar en el templo, rogaba que le diesen limosna.

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.

Da sah Petrus samt Johannes ihn scharf an und sagte: »Sieh uns an!«

Y Pedro, con Juan, fijando los ojos en él, dijo: Mira á nosotros.

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

Jener blickte sie nun aufmerksam an in der Erwartung, eine Gabe von ihnen zu erhalten.

Entonces él estuvo atento á ellos, esperando recibir de ellos algo.

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.

Petrus aber sagte: »Silber und Gold besitze ich nicht; was ich aber habe, das gebe ich dir: Im Namen Jesu Christi von Nazareth: Gehe umher!«

Y Pedro dijo: Ni tengo plata ni oro; mas lo que tengo te doy: en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, levántate y anda.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”

Dann faßte er ihn bei der rechten Hand und richtete ihn auf; da wurden seine Füße und Knöchel augenblicklich fest;

Y tomándole por la mano derecha le levantó: y luego fueron afirmados sus pies y tobillos;

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

er sprang auf, konnte stehen, ging umher und trat mit ihnen in den Tempel ein, indem er umherging und sprang und Gott pries.

Y saltando, se puso en pie, y anduvo; y entró con ellos en el templo, andando, y saltando, y alabando á Dios.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

So sahen ihn denn alle Leute, wie er umherging und Gott pries;

Y todo el pueblo le vió andar y alabar á Dios.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

sie erkannten in ihm auch den Mann, der sonst, um Almosen zu erbitten, am Schönen Tore des Tempels gesessen hatte, und wurden voller Staunen und Verwunderung wegen der Heilung, die an ihm vorgegangen war.

Y conocían que él era el que se sentaba á la limosna á la puerta del templo, la Hermosa: y fueron llenos de asombro y de espanto por lo que le había acontecido.

And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Da er sich aber fest zu Petrus und Johannes hielt, strömte das gesamte Volk zu ihnen bei der sogenannten Halle Salomos zusammen, außer sich vor Staunen.

Y teniendo á Pedro y á Juan el cojo que había sido sanado, todo el pueblo concurrió á ellos al pórtico que se llama de Salomón, atónitos.

And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

Als Petrus das sah, richtete er folgende Ansprache an das Volk: »Ihr Männer von Israel, was wundert ihr euch über diesen Mann, oder was seht ihr uns so erstaunt an, als hätten wir durch eigene Kraft oder Frömmigkeit bewirkt, daß er umhergehen kann?

Y viendo esto Pedro, respondió al pueblo: Varones Israelitas, ¿por qué os maravilláis de esto? ó ¿por qué ponéis los ojos en nosotros, como si con nuestra virtud ó piedad hubiésemos hecho andar á éste?

And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?

Nein, der Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Jakobs, der Gott unserer Väter, hat seinen Knecht Jesus verherrlicht, den ihr (den Heiden) ausgeliefert und vor Pilatus verleugnet habt, als dieser seine Freigebung beschlossen hatte;

El Dios de Abraham, y de Isaac, y de Jacob, el Dios de nuestros padres ha glorificado á su Hijo Jesús, al cual vosotros entregasteis, y negasteis delante de Pilato, juzgando él que había de ser suelto.

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

da habt ihr den Heiligen und Gerechten verleugnet und die Begnadigung eines Mörders verlangt,

Mas vosotros al Santo y al Justo negasteis, y pedisteis que se os diese un homicida;

But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

dagegen den Fürsten des Lebens hinrichten lassen. Diesen hat Gott von den Toten auferweckt: dafür sind wir Zeugen!

Y matasteis al Autor de la vida, al cual Dios ha resucitado de los muertos; de lo que nosotros somos testigos.

And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Und auf Grund des Glaubens an seinen Namen hat sein Name diesem Manne hier, den ihr seht und kennt, jetzt Kraft verliehen, und der durch Jesus (in uns) gewirkte Glaube hat ihm vor euer aller Augen diese seine gesunden Glieder geschenkt.

Y en la fe de su nombre, á éste que vosotros veis y conocéis, ha confirmado su nombre: y la fe que por él es, ha dado á éste esta completa sanidad en presencia de todos vosotros.

And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Und nun, ihr Brüder: ich weiß, daß ihr aus Unwissenheit gehandelt habt, wie auch eure Oberen;

Mas ahora, hermanos, sé que por ignorancia lo habéis hecho, como también vuestros príncipes.

And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

Gott aber hat auf diese Weise das in Erfüllung gehen lassen, was er schon vorher durch den Mund aller Propheten verkündigt hat, daß nämlich sein Gesalbter leiden werde.

So tut denn Buße und bekehrt euch, damit eure Sünden vergeben werden,

auf daß Zeiten der Erquickung vom Angesicht des Herrn kommen und er den für euch zum Gesalbten bestimmten Jesus senden kann.

Y enviará á Jesucristo, que os fué antes anunciado:

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,

Diesen muß allerdings der Himmel aufnehmen bis zu den Zeiten der Wiederherstellung alles dessen, was Gott durch den Mund seiner heiligen Propheten von der Urzeit her verkündet hat.

Al cual de cierto es menester que el cielo tenga hasta los tiempos de la restauración de todas las cosas, que habló Dios por boca de sus santos profetas que han sido desde el siglo.

Mose hat ja gesagt: ›Einen Propheten wie mich wird der Herr, unser Gott, euch aus euren Brüdern erstehen lassen: auf den sollt ihr in allem hören, was er zu euch reden wird;

Porque Moisés dijo á los padres: El Señor vuestro Dios os levantará profeta de vuestros hermanos, como yo; á él oiréis en todas las cosas que os hablare.

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.

und jede Seele, die auf diesen Propheten nicht hört, soll aus dem Volke ausgerottet werden!‹

Y será, que cualquiera alma que no oyere á aquel profeta, será desarraigada del pueblo.

And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Aber auch alle anderen Propheten, soviele ihrer von Samuel an und in den folgenden Zeiten aufgetreten sind, haben diese Tage angekündigt.

Y todos los profetas desde Samuel y en adelante, todos los que han hablado, han anunciado estos días.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Ihr seid die Söhne der Propheten und gehört dem Bunde an, den Gott mit euren Vätern geschlossen hat, als er dem Abraham die Verheißung gab: ›In deiner Nachkommenschaft sollen alle Geschlechter der Erde gesegnet werden.‹

Vosotros sois los hijos de los profetas, y del pacto que Dios concertó con nuestros padres, diciendo á Abraham: Y en tu simiente serán benditas todas las familias de la tierra.

Für euch zuerst hat Gott seinen Knecht erstehen lassen und ihn gesandt, um euch dadurch zu segnen, daß ein jeder unter euch sich von seinen Bosheiten bekehrt.«
