Pedro y Juan subían juntos al templo a la hora novena, la de la oración.

PEDRO y Juan subían juntos al templo á la hora de oración, la de nona.

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

Y era traído un hombre cojo «de nacimiento,» a quien ponían cada día a la puerta del templo que se llama la Hermosa, para que pidiese limosna de los que entraban en el templo.

Y un hombre que era cojo desde el vientre de su madre, era traído; al cual ponían cada día á la puerta del templo que se llama la Hermosa, para que pidiese limosna de los que entraban en el templo.

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.

Este, cuando vio a Pedro y a Juan que iban a entrar en el templo, les rogaba que le diesen limosna.

Este, como vió á Pedro y á Juan que iban á entrar en el templo, rogaba que le diesen limosna.

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.

Pedro, con Juan, fijando en él los ojos, le dijo: Míranos.

Y Pedro, con Juan, fijando los ojos en él, dijo: Mira á nosotros.

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.”

Entonces él les estuvo atento, esperando recibir de ellos algo.

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.

Mas Pedro dijo: No tengo plata ni oro, pero lo que tengo te doy; en el nombre de Jesús, el Cristo de Nazaret, levántate y anda.

Y Pedro dijo: Ni tengo plata ni oro; mas lo que tengo te doy: en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, levántate y anda.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”

Y tomándole por la mano derecha le levantó; y al instante se le afirmaron los pies y tobillos;

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

y saltando, se puso en pie y anduvo; y entró con ellos en el templo, andando, y saltando, y alabando a Dios.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.

Y todo el pueblo le vio andar y alabar a Dios.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Y le reconocían que era el que se sentaba a pedir limosna a la puerta del templo, la Hermosa; y se llenaron de asombro y espanto por lo que le había sucedido.

Y conocían que él era el que se sentaba á la limosna á la puerta del templo, la Hermosa: y fueron llenos de asombro y de espanto por lo que le había acontecido.

And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Y teniendo asidos a Pedro y a Juan el cojo que había sido sanado, todo el pueblo, atónito, concurrió a ellos al pórtico que se llama de Salomón.

Y teniendo á Pedro y á Juan el cojo que había sido sanado, todo el pueblo concurrió á ellos al pórtico que se llama de Salomón, atónitos.

And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

Viendo esto Pedro, respondió al pueblo: Varones Israelitas, ¿por qué se maravillan de esto? ¿o por qué ponen los ojos en nosotros, como si por nuestro poder o piedad †reverencia y respeto, compasión hubiésemos hecho andar a éste?

Y viendo esto Pedro, respondió al pueblo: Varones Israelitas, ¿por qué os maravilláis de esto? ó ¿por qué ponéis los ojos en nosotros, como si con nuestra virtud ó piedad hubiésemos hecho andar á éste?

And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?

El Dios de Abraham, de Isaac y de Jacob, el Dios de nuestros padres, ha glorificado a su Hijo Jesús, a quien ustedes entregaron y negaron delante de Pilato, cuando éste había resuelto ponerle en libertad.

El Dios de Abraham, y de Isaac, y de Jacob, el Dios de nuestros padres ha glorificado á su Hijo Jesús, al cual vosotros entregasteis, y negasteis delante de Pilato, juzgando él que había de ser suelto.

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

Mas ustedes negaron al Santo y al Justo, y pidieron que se les diese un homicida,

But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

y mataron al Autor de la vida, a quien Dios ha resucitado de los muertos, de lo cual nosotros somos testigos.

Y matasteis al Autor de la vida, al cual Dios ha resucitado de los muertos; de lo que nosotros somos testigos.

And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Y por la fe en su nombre, a éste, que ustedes ven y conocen, le ha confirmado su nombre; y la fe que es por él ha dado a éste esta completa sanidad en presencia de todos ustedes.

Y en la fe de su nombre, á éste que vosotros veis y conocéis, ha confirmado su nombre: y la fe que por él es, ha dado á éste esta completa sanidad en presencia de todos vosotros.

And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Mas ahora, hermanos, sé que por ignorancia lo han hecho, como también sus †de ustedes gobernantes.

Mas ahora, hermanos, sé que por ignorancia lo habéis hecho, como también vuestros príncipes.

And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

“Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

Pero Dios ha cumplido así lo que había antes anunciado por boca de todos sus profetas, que su Cristo había de sufrir †padecer.

But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

Así que, arrepiéntanse y conviértanse, para que sean borrados sus †de ustedes pecados; para que vengan de la presencia del Señor tiempos de refrigerio,

Así que, arrepentíos y convertíos, para que sean borrados vuestros pecados; pues que vendrán los tiempos del refrigerio de la presencia del Señor,

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

y él envíe a Jesús, el Cristo, que les fue antes anunciado;

Y enviará á Jesucristo, que os fué antes anunciado:

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,

a quien de cierto es necesario que el cielo reciba hasta los tiempos de la restauración de todas las cosas, de que habló Dios por boca de sus santos profetas que han sido desde tiempo antiguo.

Al cual de cierto es menester que el cielo tenga hasta los tiempos de la restauración de todas las cosas, que habló Dios por boca de sus santos profetas que han sido desde el siglo.

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Porque Moisés dijo a los padres: El Señor su †de ustedes Dios les levantará profeta de entre sus †de ustedes hermanos, como a mí; a él oirán en todas las cosas que les hable;

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.

y toda alma que no escuche a aquel profeta, será desarraigada del pueblo.

Y será, que cualquiera alma que no oyere á aquel profeta, será desarraigada del pueblo.

And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Y todos los profetas desde Samuel en adelante, cuantos han hablado, también han anunciado estos días.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Ustedes son los hijos de los profetas, y del pacto que Dios hizo con nuestros padres, diciendo a Abraham: En tu simiente serán benditas todas las familias de la tierra.

Vosotros sois los hijos de los profetas, y del pacto que Dios concertó con nuestros padres, diciendo á Abraham: Y en tu simiente serán benditas todas las familias de la tierra.

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘All the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.’

A ustedes primeramente, Dios, habiendo levantado a su Hijo, TM †Jesús lo envió para que les bendijese, a fin de que cada uno se convierta de su maldad.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
