Mais comme ils parlaient au peuple, les sacrificateurs, le commandant du temple et les sadducéens survinrent,

If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,

qu'il soit notoire à vous tous, et à tout le peuple d'Israël, que c'est par le nom de Jésus-Christ le Nazaréen, que vous avez crucifié, que Dieu a ressuscité des morts ; c'est par lui que cet homme se présente devant vous bien portant.

Sea notorio á todos vosotros, y á todo el pueblo de Israel, que en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, al que vosotros crucificasteis y Dios le resucitó de los muertos, por él este hombre está en vuestra presencia sano.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

C'est lui qui est la pierre rejetée par vous les constructeurs, et qui est devenue la principale pierre de l'angle.

Et le salut n'est en aucun autre ; car aussi il n'y a sous le ciel d'autre nom qui ait été donné parmi les hommes, par lequel il nous faille être sauvés.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Or, voyant la hardiesse de Pierre et de Jean, et se rendant compte que c'étaient des hommes sans instruction et du commun peuple, ils étaient dans l'étonnement, et ils les reconnaissaient pour avoir été avec Jésus.

Entonces viendo la constancia de Pedro y de Juan, sabido que eran hombres sin letras é ignorantes, se maravillaban; y les conocían que habían estado con Jesús.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Et voyant là debout avec eux l'homme qui avait été guéri, ils n'avaient rien à répliquer.

Mais afin que cela ne se répande pas davantage dans le peuple, défendons-leur avec menaces de parler encore à qui que ce soit en ce nom-là.

Et les ayant appelés, ils leur défendirent absolument de parler et d'enseigner au nom de Jésus.

Ils les renvoyèrent donc après leur avoir fait de nouvelles menaces, ne trouvant aucun moyen de les punir, à cause du peuple, parce que tous glorifiaient Dieu de ce qui était arrivé.

Que por boca de David, tu siervo, dijiste: ¿Por qué han bramado las gentes, y los pueblos han pensado cosas vanas?

Les rois de la terre se sont avancés, et les chefs se sont assemblés contre ! le Seigneur et contre son Christ.

Asistieron los reyes de la tierra, y los príncipes se juntaron en uno contra el Señor, y contra su Cristo.

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

En effet contre ton saint serviteur Jésus, que tu as oint, se sont véritablement assemblés dans cette ville Hérode et Ponce Pilate avec des païens et avec les peuples d'Israël,

For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

“For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,

pour faire toutes les choses que ta main et ton conseil avaient d'avance déterminé devoir arriver.

Para hacer lo que tu mano y tu consejo habían antes determinado que había de ser hecho.

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

Et maintenant, Seigneur, regarde leurs menaces, et donne à tes serviteurs d'annoncer ta parole avec toute assurance,

en étendant ta main, afin qu'il se fasse des guérisons, des miracles et des prodiges par le nom de ton saint Serviteur Jésus.

Que extiendas tu mano á que sanidades, y milagros, y prodigios sean hechos por el nombre de tu santo Hijo Jesús.

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
