Mientras hablaban con el pueblo, los sacerdotes y el jefe de guardia del templo y los saduceos se acercaron a ellos,

Y HABLANDO ellos al pueblo, sobrevinieron los sacerdotes, y el magistrado del templo, y los Saduceos,

And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

Muy angustiados porque enseñaban a la gente y predicaban a Jesús como un ejemplo de la resurrección de los muertos.

Resentidos de que enseñasen al pueblo, y anunciasen en Jesús la resurrección de los muertos.

Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

Y los tomaron y los metieron en la cárcel hasta el dia siguiente, porque era ya de tarde.

Y al día siguiente, los príncipes y los que tenían autoridad y los escribas se juntaron en Jerusalén;

And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

Y Anás, el sumo sacerdote, estaba allí, y Caifás, y Juan, y Alejandro, y todos los parientes del sumo sacerdote.

And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

Y poniéndoles en medio les preguntaron: ¿Con qué poder y en nombre de quién han hecho esto?

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

Entonces Pedro, lleno del Espíritu Santo, les dijo: Oh gobernantes del pueblo y hombres de autoridad,

Si hoy se nos pregunta por un beneficio hecho a un hombre que estaba enfermo, para saber de qué manera ha sido sanado,

If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,

Toman nota, todos ustedes, y todo el pueblo de Israel, que en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, a quien crucificaron, a quien Dios resucitó de los muertos, incluso a través de él, está este hombre ahora delante de ustedes completamente sano.

Sea notorio á todos vosotros, y á todo el pueblo de Israel, que en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, al que vosotros crucificasteis y Dios le resucitó de los muertos, por él este hombre está en vuestra presencia sano.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Este Jesús es la piedra rechazada por ustedes, los constructores, pero que se ha convertido en la principal piedra del edificio.

Este es la piedra reprobada de vosotros los edificadores, la cual es puesta por cabeza del ángulo.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’

Y en ningún otro hay salvación; porque no hay otro nombre debajo del cielo, dado a los hombres, por el cual podamos tener salvación.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Cuando vieron que Pedro y Juan no tenían miedo, aunque no tenían educación ni conocimientos, se sorprendieron grandemente; y ellos tomaron nota de ellos que habían estado con Jesús.

Entonces viendo la constancia de Pedro y de Juan, sabido que eran hombres sin letras é ignorantes, se maravillaban; y les conocían que habían estado con Jesús.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Y, viendo que el hombre que había sido sanado estaba allí con ellos, no pudieron decir nada en contra de ellos.

And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

Diciendo: ¿Qué vamos a hacer con estos hombres? Ciertamente, para todos los que viven en Jerusalén es claro que han hecho un milagro muy importante, y no es posible decir que no es así.

Pero para que no vaya más lejos entre la gente, vamos amenazarlos, para que no sigan hablando del nombre de Jesús a hombre alguno.

Todavía, porque no se divulgue más por el pueblo, amenacémoslos que no hablen de aquí adelante á hombre alguno en este nombre.

But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

Y los enviaron a buscarlos, y les ordenaron que no hicieran declaraciones ni dieran enseñanzas en el nombre de Jesús.

Y llamándolos, les intimaron que en ninguna manera hablasen ni enseñasen en el nombre de Jesús.

Las autoridades los amenazaron pero los dejaron ir, no hallando ningún modo de castigarlos por causa de la gente; porque todos los hombres estaban alabando a Dios por lo que había sucedido.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

Porque el hombre en quien se hizo este milagro de sanidad tenía más de cuarenta años.

Que por boca de David, tu siervo, dijiste: ¿Por qué han bramado las gentes, y los pueblos han pensado cosas vanas?

Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

Los reyes de la tierra se alzaron, los gobernantes se unieron, contra el Señor y contra su Cristo:

Asistieron los reyes de la tierra, y los príncipes se juntaron en uno contra el Señor, y contra su Cristo.

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers plot together, against the Lord, and against his Christ.’

Porque, verdaderamente, en esta ciudad se unieron, contra tu santo siervo, Jesús, a quien ungiste, como Cristo, Herodes, y Poncio Pilato, con los gentiles y el pueblo de Israel,

For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

“For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,

Para hacer lo que se había fijado antes por tu mano y tu propósito, ya habías dispuesto que tenía que suceder.

Para hacer lo que tu mano y tu consejo habían antes determinado que había de ser hecho.

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

Y ahora, Señor, toma nota de sus amenazas, y da poder a tus siervos para ser predicadores de tu palabra sin temor,

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

Mientras tu mano se extiende para hacer obras de sanidad; para que se hagan señales y maravillas por el nombre de tu santo hijo Jesús.

Que extiendas tu mano á que sanidades, y milagros, y prodigios sean hechos por el nombre de tu santo Hijo Jesús.

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Y cuando su oración terminó, el lugar donde estaban se conmovió violentamente, y todos se llenaron del Espíritu Santo, predicando la palabra de Dios sin temor.

Y como hubieron orado, el lugar en que estaban congregados tembló; y todos fueron llenos del Espíritu Santo, y hablaron la palabra de Dios con confianza.

Y todos los que eran de la fe eran uno en corazón y en alma; y ninguno de ellos dijo que ninguna de las cosas que tenía era solo su propiedad; pero tenían todas las cosas en común.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Y con gran poder, los Apóstoles dieron testimonio de la resurrección del Señor Jesús; y la gracia estaba en todos ellos.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Y ninguno entre ellos estaba en necesidad; porque todos los que tenían tierras o casas, las vendían, y él dinero,

Que ningún necesitado había entre ellos: porque todos los que poseían heredades ó casas, vendiéndolas, traían el precio de lo vendido,

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

Lo pusieron a los pies de los Apóstoles para distribuirlo a todos según lo hubiesen necesitado.

Teniendo un campo, obtuvo dinero para él y puso el dinero en los pies de los apóstoles.

Como tuviese una heredad, la vendió, y trajo el precio, y púsolo á los pies de los apóstoles.
