Enquanto Pedro e João falavam às pessoas, os sacerdotes, o capitão do templo e os saduceus, aproximaram-se deles

Y HABLANDO ellos al pueblo, sobrevinieron los sacerdotes, y el magistrado del templo, y los Saduceos,

And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

profundamente irados, porque Pedro e João ensinavam as pessoas sobre Jesus, e proclamavam a Sua ressureição dentre os mortos.

Resentidos de que enseñasen al pueblo, y anunciasen en Jesús la resurrección de los muertos.

Então, os prenderam e os colocaram em prisões até o dia seguinte, pois já era tarde.

Aconteceu que, no dia seguinte, seus governantes, anciãos e escribas se reuniram em Jerusalém.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

Anás, o principal sacerdote, Caifás, João, Alexandre, e todos que eram da linhagem do sumo sacerdote.

Y Anás, príncipe de los sacerdotes, y Caifás, y Juan y Alejandro, y todos los que eran del linaje sacerdotal;

And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

Quando colocaram Pedro e João no meio deles, perguntaram: "Por qual poder ou no nome de quem fizestes isso?"

Y haciéndolos presentar en medio, les preguntaron: ¿Con qué potestad, ó en qué nombre, habéis hecho vosotros esto?

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

Então, Pedro, cheio do Espírito Santo, disse-lhes: "Vós, governantes do povo, e anciãos,

se nós, neste dia, estamos sendo questionados em relação a uma boa obra feita para um homem doente, e do modo como foi curado.

Pues que somos hoy demandados acerca del beneficio hecho á un hombre enfermo, de qué manera éste haya sido sanado,

If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,

Seja isto conhecido por todos vós e por todo o povo de Israel, que no nome de Jesus Cristo de Nazaré, a quem vós crucificastes e a quem Deus ressuscitou dos mortos, é por meio Dele que esse homem está curado diante de vós.

Sea notorio á todos vosotros, y á todo el pueblo de Israel, que en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, al que vosotros crucificasteis y Dios le resucitó de los muertos, por él este hombre está en vuestra presencia sano.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Jesus Cristo é a pedra que vós, como construtores, desprezastes, mas que foi feita pedra angular.

Este es la piedra reprobada de vosotros los edificadores, la cual es puesta por cabeza del ángulo.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’

Não há salvação em nenhum outro; porque não há nenhum outro nome debaixo do céu, dado entre os homens, por meio do qual devamos ser salvos".

Y en ningún otro hay salud; porque no hay otro nombre debajo del cielo, dado á los hombres, en que podamos ser salvos.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Quando viram a intrepidez de Pedro e João e perceberam que eles eram simples homens iletrados, ficaram surpresos; perceberam que Pedro e João haviam convivido com Jesus.

Entonces viendo la constancia de Pedro y de Juan, sabido que eran hombres sin letras é ignorantes, se maravillaban; y les conocían que habían estado con Jesús.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

E, vendo estar com eles o homem que fora curado, nada tinham que dizer ao contrário.

Y viendo al hombre que había sido sanado, que estaba con ellos, no podían decir nada en contra.

Mas, depois que ordenaram os apóstolos a sairem da reunião do Conselho, conversaram entre si,

dizendo: "O que nós deveríamos fazer a estes homens? Porque é verídico que um incrível milagre que foi feito através deles, é conhecido por todos os que vivem em Jerusalém, e nós não podemos negar isso.

Diciendo: ¿Qué hemos de hacer á estos hombres? porque de cierto, señal manifiesta ha sido hecha por ellos, notoria á todos los que moran en Jerusalem, y no lo podemos negar.

Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we can not deny it.

saying, “What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it.

Mas, para que isso não seja propagado entre as pessoas, vamos alertá-los para não mais falarem a ninguém neste nome".

Todavía, porque no se divulgue más por el pueblo, amenacémoslos que no hablen de aquí adelante á hombre alguno en este nombre.

But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

Eles chamaram Pedro e João e ordenaram-lhes que não falassem, de nenhuma maneira, nem ensinassem, no nome de Jesus.

Mas Pedro e João responderam dizendo: "Julgais se é justo, perante Deus, obedecer a vós ao invés de obedecer a Ele.

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

Porque nós não podemos nos calar acerca das coisas que temos visto e ouvido".

E, ameaçando ainda mais a Pedro e João, os deixaram ir. Eles foram incapazes de achar qualquer justificativa para puní-los, porque todo o povo glorificava a Deus pelo que acontecera.

Ellos entonces los despacharon amenazándolos, no hallando ningún modo de castigarlos, por causa del pueblo; porque todos glorificaban á Dios de lo que había sido hecho.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

O homem que fora curado tinha mais de quarenta anos de idade.

Porque el hombre en quien había sido hecho este milagro de sanidad, era de más de cuarenta años.

Depois de soltos, Pedro e João foram para seu próprio povo e relataram tudo o que os principais sacerdotes e os anciãos lhes tinham dito.

Y sueltos, vinieron á los suyos, y contaron todo lo que los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los ancianos les habían dicho.

And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.

Quando ouviram isso, levantaram suas vozes juntos a Deus e disseram: "Senhor, Tu que fizestes os céus, a terra, o mar, e tudo o que neles há;

Tu que, pelo Espírito Santo, pela boca do nosso pai Davi, Seu servo, disseste: 'Por que as nações dos gentios se iram, e os povos imaginam coisas vãs?

Que por boca de David, tu siervo, dijiste: ¿Por qué han bramado las gentes, y los pueblos han pensado cosas vanas?

Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

who by the mouth of your servant David, said, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?

Os reis da terra se ajuntaram, e os governantes se reuniram contra o Senhor e contra O Seu Ungido'.

Asistieron los reyes de la tierra, y los príncipes se juntaron en uno contra el Señor, y contra su Cristo.

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

De fato, ambos, Herodes e Pôncio Pilatos, junto com os gentios e o povo de Israel, reunidos nesta cidade contra Teu Santo Servo, Jesus, a quem Tu ungistes.

Porque verdaderamente se juntaron en esta ciudad contra tu santo Hijo Jesús, al cual ungiste, Herodes y Poncio Pilato, con los Gentiles y los pueblos de Israel,

For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

“For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,

Eles reuniram-se para fazer tudo o que a Tua mão e o Teu desígnio decidiram antecipadamente que se havia de fazer.

Para hacer lo que tu mano y tu consejo habían antes determinado que había de ser hecho.

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

to do whatever your hand and your counsel foreordained to happen.

Agora, Senhor, olha para as suas ameaças e concede aos Teus servos falarem as Tuas palavras com toda ousadia.

Y ahora, Señor, mira sus amenazas, y da á tus siervos que con toda confianza hablen tu palabra;

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

Enquanto estendes a Tua mão para curar, e para que se façam sinais e maravilhas pelo nome do Teu Santo Servo Jesus".

Que extiendas tu mano á que sanidades, y milagros, y prodigios sean hechos por el nombre de tu santo Hijo Jesús.

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Quando terminaram de orar, o lugar em que eles estavam reunidos foi sacudido, e todos ficaram cheios do Espírito Santo, e anunciavam a Palavra de Deus com ousadia.

Y como hubieron orado, el lugar en que estaban congregados tembló; y todos fueron llenos del Espíritu Santo, y hablaron la palabra de Dios con confianza.

Da multidão dos que creram era um só o coração e a alma, ninguém dizia que suas posses eram realmente suas; ao invés disso, tinham todas as coisas em comum.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Com grande poder, os apóstolos proclamavam seus testemunhos acerca da ressureição do Senhor Jesus, e imensa graça estava sobre eles.

Não havia ninguém entre eles que precisasse de algo, porque todos que possuíam propriedades ou casas, vendiam-nas e traziam o valor do que fora vendido

Que ningún necesitado había entre ellos: porque todos los que poseían heredades ó casas, vendiéndolas, traían el precio de lo vendido,

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

e depositavam-no aos pés dos apóstolos. E a distribuição era feita a cada um, de acordo com o que cada um necessitava.

Tendo uma propriedade, vendeu-a e trouxe o dinheiro e colocou-o aos pés dos apóstolos.

Como tuviese una heredad, la vendió, y trajo el precio, y púsolo á los pies de los apóstoles.
