Or mentr’essi parlavano al popolo, i sacerdoti e il capitano del tempio e i Sadducei sopraggiunsero,

Y HABLANDO ellos al pueblo, sobrevinieron los sacerdotes, y el magistrado del templo, y los Saduceos,

E fatti comparir quivi in mezzo Pietro e Giovanni, domandarono: Con qual podestà, o in nome di chi avete voi fatto questo?

Y haciéndolos presentar en medio, les preguntaron: ¿Con qué potestad, ó en qué nombre, habéis hecho vosotros esto?

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,

sia noto a tutti voi e a tutto il popolo d’Israele che ciò è stato fatto nel nome di Gesù Cristo il Nazareno, che voi avete crocifisso, e che Dio ha risuscitato dai morti; in virtù d’esso quest’uomo comparisce guarito, in presenza vostra.

Sea notorio á todos vosotros, y á todo el pueblo de Israel, que en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, al que vosotros crucificasteis y Dios le resucitó de los muertos, por él este hombre está en vuestra presencia sano.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Egli è la pietra che è stata da voi edificatori sprezzata, ed è divenuta la pietra angolare.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’

E in nessun altro è la salvezza; poiché non v’è sotto il cielo alcun altro nome che sia stato dato agli uomini, per il quale noi abbiamo ad esser salvati.

Y en ningún otro hay salud; porque no hay otro nombre debajo del cielo, dado á los hombres, en que podamos ser salvos.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Or essi, veduta la franchezza di Pietro e di Giovanni, e avendo capito che erano popolani senza istruzione, si maravigliavano e riconoscevano che erano stati con Gesù.

Entonces viendo la constancia de Pedro y de Juan, sabido que eran hombres sin letras é ignorantes, se maravillaban; y les conocían que habían estado con Jesús.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

E vedendo l’uomo, ch’era stato guarito, quivi presente con loro, non potevano dir nulla contro.

Che faremo a questi uomini? Che un evidente miracolo sia stato fatto per loro mezzo, è noto a tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme, e noi non lo possiamo negare.

Diciendo: ¿Qué hemos de hacer á estos hombres? porque de cierto, señal manifiesta ha sido hecha por ellos, notoria á todos los que moran en Jerusalem, y no lo podemos negar.

Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we can not deny it.

Ma affinché ciò non si sparga maggiormente fra il popolo, divietiam loro con minacce che non parlino più ad alcuno in questo nome.

Todavía, porque no se divulgue más por el pueblo, amenacémoslos que no hablen de aquí adelante á hombre alguno en este nombre.

But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

E avendoli chiamati, ingiunsero loro di non parlare né insegnare affatto nel nome di Gesù.

Ed essi, minacciatili di nuovo, li lasciarono andare, non trovando nulla da poterli castigare, per cagion del popolo; perché tutti glorificavano Iddio per quel ch’era stato fatto.

Colui che mediante lo Spirito Santo, per bocca del padre nostro e tuo servitore Davide, ha detto: Perché hanno fremuto le genti, e hanno i popoli divisate cose vane?

Que por boca de David, tu siervo, dijiste: ¿Por qué han bramado las gentes, y los pueblos han pensado cosas vanas?

I re della terra si son fatti avanti, e i principi si son raunati assieme contro al Signore, e contro al suo Unto.

Asistieron los reyes de la tierra, y los príncipes se juntaron en uno contra el Señor, y contra su Cristo.

For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

“For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,

per far tutte le cose che la tua mano e il tuo consiglio aveano innanzi determinato che avvenissero.

Para hacer lo que tu mano y tu consejo habían antes determinado que había de ser hecho.

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

E adesso, Signore, considera le loro minacce, e concedi ai tuoi servitori di annunziar la tua parola con ogni franchezza,

stendendo la tua mano per guarire, e perché si faccian segni e prodigi mediante il nome del tuo santo Servitore Gesù.

Que extiendas tu mano á que sanidades, y milagros, y prodigios sean hechos por el nombre de tu santo Hijo Jesús.

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

E dopo ch’ebbero pregato, il luogo dov’erano raunati tremò; e furon tutti ripieni dello Spirito Santo, e annunziavano la parola di Dio con franchezza.

Y como hubieron orado, el lugar en que estaban congregados tembló; y todos fueron llenos del Espíritu Santo, y hablaron la palabra de Dios con confianza.

E gli apostoli con gran potenza rendevan testimonianza della risurrezione del Signor Gesù; e gran grazia era sopra tutti loro.

Y los apóstoles daban testimonio de la resurrección del Señor Jesús con gran esfuerzo; y gran gracia era en todos ellos.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Poiché non v’era alcun bisognoso fra loro; perché tutti coloro che possedevan poderi o case li vendevano, portavano il prezzo delle cose vendute,
