Mas, quando os guardas chegaram à prisão, os homens não estavam lá, e por isso voltaram e informaram:

Mas como llegaron los ministros, y no los hallaron en la cárcel, volvieron, y dieron aviso,

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

But the officers who came didn’t find them in the prison. They returned and reported,
