Eles aceitaram o conselho de Gamaliel. Chamaram os apóstolos, mandaram açoitá-los e depois disseram a eles que não mais falassem no nome de Jesus; e finalmente os deixaram sair em liberdade.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
