Mais un certain homme, du nom d'Ananias, avec Saphira, sa femme, vendit une propriété ;

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Si tu ne l'avais pas vendu, ne demeurait-il pas à toi ? et, vendu, n'était-il pas en ton pouvoir ? Comment as-tu conçu dans ton cœur un tel dessein ? Ce n'est pas à des hommes que tu as menti, mais à Dieu.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Ananias, entendant ces paroles, tomba et expira. Et il y eut une grande crainte sur tous ceux qui l'apprirent.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Et les jeunes gens, s'étant levés, l'enveloppèrent, et l'ayant emporté, ils l'enterrèrent.

Et Pierre lui adressa la parole : Dis-moi si c'est pour cette somme que vous avez cédé le fonds de terre ? Et elle dit : Oui, c'est pour cette somme.

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime: ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Alors Pierre lui dit : Comment un accord a-t-il été fait entre vous pour tenter l'Esprit du Seigneur ? Voici, les pieds de ceux qui ont enterré ton mari sont à la porte, et ils t'emporteront.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Or, au même instant, elle tomba à ses pieds, et expira. Et les jeunes gens étant entrés la trouvèrent morte, et l'ayant emportée, ils l'enterrèrent auprès de son mari.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

Et il y eut une grande crainte sur toute l'Eglise et sur tous ceux qui apprirent ces choses.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Or il se faisait par les mains des apôtres beaucoup de miracles et de prodiges parmi le peuple. Et ils étaient tous d'un commun accord sous le portique de Salomon.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

en sorte qu'on apportait les malades dans les rues et qu'on les plaçait sur de petits lits et sur des couchettes, afin que, Pierre venant à passer, son ombre du moins couvrît quelqu'un d'entre eux.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Et la multitude accourait même des villes voisines de Jérusalem, apportant des malades et des gens tourmentés par des esprits impurs ; et tous étaient guéris.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Ayant entendu cela, ils entrèrent dès le point du jour dans le temple, et ils y enseignaient. Mais le souverain sacrificateur étant venu, et ceux qui étaient avec lui, ils convoquèrent le sanhédrin et tous les anciens des fils d'Israël ; et ils envoyèrent à la prison pour faire amener les apôtres.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

en disant : Nous avons trouvé la prison fermée en toute sûreté et les gardes debout devant les portes ; mais, ayant ouvert, nous n'avons trouvé personne dedans.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Le commandant du temple et les principaux sacrificateurs ayant entendu ces paroles furent très perplexes à leur sujet, se demandant ce que cela deviendrait.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Mais quelqu'un survenant leur fit ce rapport : Voici, les hommes que vous aviez mis dans la prison sont dans le temple, debout et enseignant le peuple.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Alors le commandant du temple, s'en étant allé avec les huissiers, les amena, sans violence ; car ils craignaient le peuple, ils avaient peur d'être lapidés.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Mais Pierre et les apôtres répondant dirent : Il faut obéir à Dieu plutôt qu'aux hommes.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Le Dieu de nos pères a ressuscité Jésus, que vous, vous avez fait mourir en le pendant au bois.

C'est lui que Dieu a élevé par sa droite comme Chef et Sauveur, afin de donner la repentance à Israël, et la rémission des péchés.

Mais un pharisien, nommé Gamaliel, docteur de la loi honoré de tout le peuple, s'étant levé dans le sanhédrin, ordonna qu'on fit sortir un instant ces hommes.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

Et il leur dit : Hommes israélites, prenez garde à ce que vous allez faire à l'égard de ces hommes.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Car avant ces jours-ci s'éleva Theudas, se disant être quelqu'un, auquel se joignit un nombre d'environ quatre cents hommes : il fut tué, et tous ceux qui lui obéissaient furent mis en déroute et réduits à rien.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Et maintenant je vous dis : Cessez de poursuivre ces hommes et laissez-les ; car si ce dessein ou cette œuvre est des hommes, elle sera détruite ;

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

mais si elle vient de Dieu, vous ne pourrez les détruire. Prenez garde que vous ne vous trouviez avoir aussi fait la guerre à Dieu. Et ils se rangèrent à son avis.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Et ayant rappelé les apôtres, après les avoir fait battre de verges, ils leur défendirent de parler au nom de Jésus ; et ils les laissèrent aller.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Eux donc se retiraient joyeux de devant le sanhédrin, parce qu'ils avaient été jugés dignes de souffrir des opprobres pour le nom de Jésus.

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Et ils ne cessaient tous les jours, dans le temple et dans les maisons, d'enseigner et d'annoncer le Christ, Jésus.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
