E um certo homem, de nome Ananias, com Safira, sua mulher, vendeu uma propriedade de terra.

MAS un varón llamado Ananías, con Safira su mujer, vendió una posesión,

E escondeu parte do valor, sabendo também a mulher dele; e trazendo uma certa parte, depositou -a junto aos pés dos apóstolos.

E Pedro disse: Ananias, por que Satanás encheu teu coração, para que mentisses ao Espírito Santo, e escondesses parte do valor da propriedade?

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Se mantivesses tua propriedade ,ela não seria mantida contigo? E, tendo sido vendida, o dinheiro da venda não estava em teu poder? Por que decidiste isto em teu coração? Não mentiste aos seres humanos, mas sim a Deus.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

E Ananias, ao ouvir estas palavras, caiu e deixou de respirar. E veio um grande temor sobre todos os que ouviram isso.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard these things.

E os rapazes, tendo se levantado, levaram-no fora, e o sepultaram.

Y levantándose los mancebos, le tomaron, y sacándolo, sepultáronlo.

And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

E passando o intervalo de cerca de três horas, entrou também sua mulher, não sabendo o que tinha acontecido.

Y pasado espacio como de tres horas, sucedió que entró su mujer, no sabiendo lo que había acontecido.

And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

E Pedro disse a ela: Dize-me, vendestes por aquele tanto aquela propriedade?E ela disse: Sim, por aquele tanto.

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime: ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

E Pedro lhe disse: Por que vós fizestes acordo para tentar ao Espírito do Senhor? Eis que estão à porta os pés daqueles que sepultaram a teu marido, e eles também te levarão.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

E imediatamente ela caiu junto aos pés deles, e deixou de respirar. E os rapazes, ao entrarem, encontraram-na morta; e levando- a fora, sepultaram-na junto ao marido dela.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

E veio um grande temor em toda a igreja, e em todos que ouviram estas coisas.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Great fear came on the whole assembly, and on all who heard these things.

E pelas mãos dos apóstolos foram feitos muitos sinais e milagres entre o povo. E estavam todos em concordância no alpendre de Salomão.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.

Mas dos outros, ninguém ousava se juntar a eles; porém o povo os honrava muito.

Y de los otros, ninguno osaba juntarse con ellos; mas el pueblo los alababa grandemente.

And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

None of the rest dared to join them; however, the people honored them.

E cada vez mais os que criam no Senhor se aumentavam, multidões tanto de homens como de mulheres.

Y los que creían en el Señor se aumentaban más, gran número así de hombres como de mujeres;

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

De maneira que traziam os enfermos às ruas, e os botavam em camas e macas, para que, vindo Pedro, pelo menos a sombra dele cobrisse a alguns deles.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

They even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at least his shadow might overshadow some of them.

E também das cidades vizinhas vinha uma multidão a Jerusalém, trazendo enfermos, e atormentados por espíritos imundos, os quais todos eram curados.

Y aun de las ciudades vecinas concurría multitud á Jerusalem, trayendo enfermos y atormentados de espíritus inmundos; los cuales todos eran curados.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

The multitude also came together from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits; and they were all healed.

E levantando-se o sumo sacerdote, e todos os que estavam com ele (que eram do grupo sectário dos saduceus), eles se encheram de inveja.

Entonces levantándose el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y todos los que estaban con él, que es la secta de los Saduceos, se llenaron de celo;

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,

E puseram suas mãos nos apóstolos, e os colocaram na prisão pública.

Y echaron mano á los apóstoles, y pusiéronlos en la cárcel pública.

Mas um anjo do Senhor, durante a noite, abriu as portas da prisão; e levando-os para fora, disse:

Ide; ficai em pé, e falai no Templo ao povo todas as palavras desta vida.

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

E eles, ouvindo isto ,entraram de manhã cedo no templo, e ensinavam. Mas vindo o sumo sacerdote, e os que estavam com ele, chamaram ao Conselho Principal, e a todos os anciãos dos filhos de Israel, e mandaram à prisão, para que os trouxessem.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Mas quando os oficiais vieram, não os acharam na prisão; e voltando, anunciaram,

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

But the officers who came didn’t find them in the prison. They returned and reported,

Dizendo: Nós achamos a prisão fechada, em toda segurança, e com os guardas que estavam fora junto às portas; mas quando as abrimos, a ninguém achamos dentro.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Quando o sumo sacerdote, o chefe da guarda do Templo, e os chefes dos sacerdotes ouviram estas palavras, eles duvidaram deles quanto o que aquilo viria a ser.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.

E vindo alguém, anunciou-lhes, dizendo: Eis que os homens que vós pusestes na prisão estão no Templo, e ensinam ao povo.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Então foi o chefe da guarda do Templo com os oficiais, e os trouxe, mas não com violência, porque temiam ao povo, para que não fossem apedrejados.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Then the captain went with the officers, and brought them without violence, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.

E quando os trouxeram, apresentaram-nos ao Supremo Conselho. E o sumo sacerdote perguntou a eles, dizendo:

Y como los trajeron, los presentaron en el concilio: y el príncipe de los sacerdotes les preguntó,

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

Não vos ordenamos expressamente para não ensinardes mais neste nome? E eis que vós enchestes a Jerusalém com vossa doutrina, e quereis trazer sobre nós o sangue deste homem!

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

E Pedro, respondendo com os apóstolos, disseram: Maior obrigação é obedecer a Deus do que às pessoas.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.

O Deus de nossos Pais ressuscitou a Jesus, ao qual vós matastes, pendurando -o no madeiro.

El Dios de nuestros padres levantó á Jesús, al cual vosotros matasteis colgándole en un madero.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

A este Deus exaltou com sua mão direita por Príncipe e Salvador, para dar a Israel arrependimento e perdão de pecados.

A éste ha Dios ensalzado con su diestra por Príncipe y Salvador, para dar á Israel arrepentimiento y remisión de pecados.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

E nós somos testemunhas dele quanto a estas palavras, e também o Espírito Santo, o qual Deus tem dado a aqueles que lhe obedecem.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

E eles, ouvindo isto ,retalharam-se de raiva, e planejaram matá-los.

Ellos, oyendo esto, regañaban, y consultaban matarlos.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

Mas, levantando-se no Supremo Conselho um certo fariseu, de nome Gamaliel, instrutor da Lei, bem honrado por todo o povo, ele mandou levarem aos apóstolos para fora por um pouco de tempo .

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while.

E lhes disse: Homens israelitas, olhai por vós mesmos, quanto ao que haveis de fazer a estes homens;

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Porque antes destes dias se levantou Teudas, dizendo ser alguém; ao qual se ajuntaram cerca de quatrocentos homens; ao qual foi morto, e todos os que acreditavam nele foram dispersos, e reduzidos a nada.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Depois deste se levantou Judas, o galileu, nos dias do censo; e perverteu muito do povo atrás dele; e este também pereceu, e todos os que acreditavam nele foram dispersos.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

E agora, eu vos digo, afastai-vos destes homens, e deixai-os; porque se este conselho ou esta obra for humana, ela se desfará.

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

Mas se é de Deus, vós não a podereis desfazer; para que não venhais a ser achados de também lutardes contra Deus.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

E concordaram com ele. E chamando aos apóstolos, tendo os açoitado, mandaram -lhes que não mais falassem no nome de Jesus; e os deixaram ir.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Então eles saíram da presença do Supremo Conselho, alegres por terem sido considerados dignos de serem humilhados por causa do nome dele.

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for Jesus’ name.

E todos os dias no Templo, e pelas casas, não paravam de ensinar e de anunciar a Jesus Cristo.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
