Mais un homme nommé Ananias, avec Sapphira sa femme, vendit une possession,

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Si elle était restée †non vendue, ne te demeurait-elle pas ? Et vendue, n’était-elle pas en ton pouvoir ? Comment t’es-tu proposé cette action dans ton cœur ? Tu n’as pas menti aux hommes, mais à Dieu.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Et Ananias, entendant ces paroles, tomba et expira. Et une grande crainte s’empara de tous ceux qui entendirent †ces choses.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Et les jeunes hommes, se levant, le couvrirent, et l’ayant emporté dehors, l’ensevelirent.

et Pierre lui répondit : Dis-moi, avez-vous donné le champ pour tant ? Et elle dit : Oui, pour tant.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Et Pierre lui †dit : Comment êtes-vous convenus entre vous de tenter l’Esprit du ✶Seigneur ? Voici, les pieds de ceux qui ont enseveli ton mari sont à la porte, et ils t’emporteront aussi.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Et à l’instant elle tomba à ses pieds et expira. Et les jeunes hommes, entrant, la trouvèrent morte ; et ils l’emportèrent dehors et l’ensevelirent auprès de son mari.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

Et une grande crainte s’empara de toute l’assemblée et de tous ceux qui entendaient parler de ces choses.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Et beaucoup de miracles et de prodiges se faisaient parmi le peuple, par les mains des apôtres ; (et ils étaient tous d’un commun accord au portique de Salomon ;

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

et des croyants d’autant plus nombreux se joignaient au Seigneur, une multitude tant d’hommes que de femmes ;)

de sorte qu’on apportait les infirmes dehors dans les rues, et qu’on les mettait sur de petits lits et sur des couchettes, afin que, quand Pierre viendrait, au moins son ombre passe sur quelqu’un d’eux.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Et la multitude aussi des villes d’alentour s’assemblait à Jérusalem, apportant les infirmes et ceux qui étaient tourmentés par des esprits immondes ; et ils étaient tous guéris.

Y aun de las ciudades vecinas concurría multitud á Jerusalem, trayendo enfermos y atormentados de espíritus inmundos; los cuales todos eran curados.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Et le souverain sacrificateur se leva, lui et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui, savoir la secte des sadducéens ; et ils furent remplis de jalousie,

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Ce qu’ayant entendu, ils entrèrent, vers le point du jour, dans le temple, et ils enseignaient. Mais le souverain sacrificateur étant venu, et ceux qui étaient avec lui, ils assemblèrent le sanhédrin et tous les anciens des fils d’Israël, et ils envoyèrent à la prison pour les faire amener.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Mais les huissiers, y étant arrivés, ne les trouvèrent pas dans la prison ; et s’en retournant, ils le rapportèrent,

disant : Nous avons trouvé la prison fermée avec toute sûreté, et les gardes se tenant aux portes ; mais, ayant ouvert, nous n’avons trouvé personne dedans.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Et quand le sacrificateur et le commandant du temple et les principaux sacrificateurs eurent entendu ces paroles, ils furent en perplexité à leur sujet, †ne sachant ce que cela deviendrait.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.

Or quelqu’un arriva et leur rapporta : Voilà, les hommes que vous avez mis en prison sont au temple et enseignent le peuple.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Alors le commandant, avec les huissiers, s’en alla et les amena sans violence ; car ils craignaient d’être lapidés par le peuple.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

disant : Nous vous avons expressément enjoint de ne pas enseigner en ce nom-là, et voici, vous avez rempli Jérusalem de votre doctrine, et vous voulez faire venir sur nous le sang de cet homme.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Et Pierre et les apôtres, répondant, dirent : Il faut obéir à Dieu plutôt qu’aux hommes.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Le Dieu de nos pères a ressuscité Jésus que vous avez fait mourir, le pendant au bois.

El Dios de nuestros padres levantó á Jesús, al cual vosotros matasteis colgándole en un madero.

C’est lui que Dieu a exalté par sa droite prince et sauveur, afin de donner la repentance à Israël et la rémission des péchés :

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Mais eux, ayant entendu †ces choses, frémissaient de rage, et tenaient conseil pour les faire mourir.

Mais un pharisien, nommé Gamaliel, docteur de la loi, honoré de tout le peuple, se leva dans le sanhédrin et donna l’ordre de faire sortir les apôtres pour un peu de temps.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while.

Et il leur dit : Hommes israélites, prenez garde à vous-mêmes par rapport à ces hommes, †et voyez ce que vous allez faire.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Car, avant ces jours-ci, Theudas se leva, se disant être quelque chose, auquel se joignit un nombre d’environ 400 hommes ; et il fut tué, et tous ceux qui lui obéissaient furent dissipés et réduits à rien.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Après lui s’éleva Judas le Galiléen, aux jours du recensement, et il entraîna à la révolte un †grand peuple après lui ; lui aussi a péri, et tous ceux qui lui obéissaient furent dispersés.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

Et maintenant je vous dis : Ne vous mêlez plus de ces hommes, et laissez-les ; car si ce dessein ou cette œuvre est des hommes, elle sera détruite ;

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

mais si elle est de Dieu, vous ne pourrez les détruire ; – de peur que vous ne soyez même trouvés faire la guerre à Dieu.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Et ils furent de son avis. Et ayant appelé les apôtres, ils leur enjoignirent, après les avoir battus, de ne pas parler au nom de Jésus, et les relâchèrent.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Eux donc se retiraient de devant le sanhédrin en se réjouissant d’avoir été estimés dignes de souffrir des opprobres pour le nom ;

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

et ils ne cessaient tous les jours d’enseigner et d’annoncer Jésus †comme le Christ, dans le temple et de maison en maison.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
