Ma un certo uomo, chiamato per nome Anania, con Saffira, sua moglie, vendè una possessione;

MAS un varón llamado Ananías, con Safira su mujer, vendió una posesión,

Ma Pietro disse: Anania, perchè ha Satana riempito il cuor tuo, per mentire allo Spirito Santo, e frodar del prezzo della possessione?

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

S'ella restava, non restava ella a te? ed essendo venduta, non era ella in tuo potere? perchè ti sei messo in cuore questa cosa? tu non hai mentito agli uomini, ma a Dio.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Ed Anania, udendo queste parole, cadde, e spirò. E gran paura venne a tutti coloro che udirono queste cose.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

E i giovani, levatisi, lo tolsero via; e, portatolo fuori, lo seppellirono.

Y levantándose los mancebos, le tomaron, y sacándolo, sepultáronlo.

And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

Or avvenne intorno a tre ore appresso, che la moglie d'esso, non sapendo ciò che era avvenuto, entrò.

Y pasado espacio como de tres horas, sucedió que entró su mujer, no sabiendo lo que había acontecido.

E Pietro le fece motto, dicendo: Dimmi, avete voi cotanto venduta la possessione? Ed ella rispose: Sì, cotanto.

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime: ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

E Pietro le disse: Perchè vi siete convenuti insieme di tentar lo Spirito del Signore? ecco, i piedi di coloro che hanno seppellito il tuo marito sono all'uscio, ed essi ti porteranno via.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Ed ella in quello stante cadde ai piedi d'esso e spirò. E i giovani, entrati, la trovarono morta; e, portatala via, la seppellirono presso al suo marito.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

E gran paura ne venne alla chiesa, e a tutti coloro che udivano queste cose.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

E molti segni e prodigi eran fatti fra il popolo per le mani degli apostoli; ed essi tutti di pari consentimento si ritrovavano nel portico di Salomone.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.

E niuno degli altri ardiva aggiungersi con loro; ma il popolo li magnificava.

Y de los otros, ninguno osaba juntarse con ellos; mas el pueblo los alababa grandemente.

And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

None of the rest dared to join them; however, the people honored them.

E di più in più si aggiungevano persone che credevano al Signore, uomini e donne, in gran numero.

Y los que creían en el Señor se aumentaban más, gran número así de hombres como de mujeres;

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Talchè portavan gl'infermi per le piazze, e li mettevano sopra letti, e letticelli; acciocchè, quando Pietro venisse, l'ombra sua almeno adombrasse alcun di loro.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

La moltitudine ancora delle città circonvicine accorreva in Gerusalemme, portando i malati, e coloro ch'erano tormentati dagli spiriti immondi; i quali tutti erano sanati.

Y aun de las ciudades vecinas concurría multitud á Jerusalem, trayendo enfermos y atormentados de espíritus inmundos; los cuales todos eran curados.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

e misero le mani sopra gli apostoli, e li posero nella prigion pubblica.

Ma un angelo del Signore di notte aperse le porte della prigione; e, condottili fuori, disse loro:

Andate, e presentatevi nel tempio, e ragionate al popolo tutte le parole di questa vita.

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Ed essi, avendo ciò udito, entrarono in su lo schiarir del dì nel tempio, ed insegnavano. Or il sommo sacerdote, e coloro che erano con lui, vennero e raunarono il concistoro, e tutti gli anziani de' figliuoli d'Israele, e mandarono nella prigione, per far menar davanti a loro gli apostoli.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Ma i sergenti, giunti alla prigione, non ve li trovarono; laonde ritornarono, e fecero il lor rapporto, dicendo:

Mas como llegaron los ministros, y no los hallaron en la cárcel, volvieron, y dieron aviso,

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

Noi abbiam ben trovata la prigione serrata con ogni diligenza, e le guardie in piè avanti le porte; ma, avendole aperte, non vi abbiamo trovato alcuno dentro.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Ora, come il sommo sacerdote, e il capo del tempio, e i principali sacerdoti ebbero udite queste cose, erano in dubbio di loro, che cosa ciò potesse essere.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Ma un certo uomo sopraggiunse, il qual rapportò, e disse loro: Ecco, quegli uomini che voi metteste in prigione, son nel tempio, e stanno quivi, ammaestrando il popolo.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Allora il capo del tempio, co' sergenti, andò là, e li menò, non però con violenza; perciocchè temevano il popolo, che non fossero lapidati.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

E, avendoli menati, li presentarono al concistoro; e il sommo sacerdote li domandò, dicendo:

Non vi abbiam noi del tutto vietato d'insegnare in cotesto nome? e pure ecco, voi avete ripiena Gerusalemme della vostra dottrina, e volete trarci addosso il sangue di cotesto uomo.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Ma Pietro, e gli altri apostoli, rispondendo, dissero: Conviene ubbidire anzi a Dio che agli uomini.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

L'Iddio de' padri nostri ha suscitato Gesù, il qual voi uccideste, avendolo appiccato al legno.

Ma Iddio l'ha esaltato con la sua destra, e l'ha fatto Principe e Salvatore, per dar ravvedimento ad Israele, e remission de' peccati.

A éste ha Dios ensalzado con su diestra por Príncipe y Salvador, para dar á Israel arrepentimiento y remisión de pecados.

E noi gli siam testimoni di queste cose che diciamo; ed anche lo Spirito Santo, il quale Iddio ha dato a coloro che gli ubbidiscono.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Ma essi, avendo udite queste cose, scoppiavano d'ira, e consultavano d'ucciderli.

Ellos, oyendo esto, regañaban, y consultaban matarlos.

Ma un certo Fariseo, chiamato per nome Gamaliele, dottor della legge, onorato presso tutto il popolo, levatosi in piè nel concistoro, comandò che gli apostoli fosser un poco messi fuori.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while.

Poi disse a que' del concistoro: Uomini Israeliti, prendete guardia intorno a questi uomini, che cosa voi farete.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Perciocchè, avanti questo tempo sorse Teuda, dicendosi esser qualche gran cosa, presso al quale si accolsero intorno a quattrocento uomini; ed egli fu ucciso, e tutti coloro che gli aveano prestata fede furon dissipati, e ridotti a nulla.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Dopo lui sorse Giuda il Galileo, a' dì della rassegna, il quale sviò dietro a sè molto popolo; ed egli ancora perì, e tutti coloro che gli aveano prestata fede furon dispersi.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.

Ora dunque, io vi dico, non vi occupate più di questi uomini, e lasciateli; perciocchè, se questo consiglio, o quest'opera è dagli uomini, sarà dissipata;

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

ma, se pure è da Dio, voi non la potete dissipare; e guardatevi che talora non siate ritrovati combattere eziandio con Dio.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Ed essi gli acconsentirono. E, chiamati gli apostoli, li batterono, ed ingiunsero loro che non parlassero nel nome di Gesù; poi li lasciarono andare.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Ed essi se ne andarono dalla presenza del concistoro, rallegrandosi d'essere stati reputati degni d'esser vituperati per lo nome di Gesù.

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Ed ogni giorno, nel tempio, e per le case, non restavano d'insegnare, e d'evangelizzar Gesù Cristo.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
