Or un homme nommé Ananias, ayant avec Saphira sa femme, vendu une possession,

Retint une partie du prix, du consentement de sa femme, et en apporta quelque partie, et la mit aux pieds des Apôtres.

Mais Pierre lui dit : Ananias comment satan s’est-il emparé de ton coeur jusques à t’inciter à mentir au Saint-Esprit, et à soustraire une partie du prix de la possession ?

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Si tu l’eusses gardée, ne te demeurait-elle pas ? et étant vendue, n’était-elle pas en ta puissance ? Pourquoi as-tu formé un tel dessein dans ton coeur ? tu n’as pas menti aux hommes mais à Dieu.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Et Ananias entendant ces paroles, tomba, et rendit l’esprit ; ce qui causa une grande crainte à tous ceux qui en entendirent parler.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Et quelques jeunes hommes se levant le prirent, et l’emportèrent dehors, et l’enterrèrent.

Y levantándose los mancebos, le tomaron, y sacándolo, sepultáronlo.

Et il arriva environ trois heures après, que sa femme aussi, ne sachant point ce qui était arrivé, entra ;

Et Pierre prenant la parole, lui dit : dis-moi, avez-vous autant vendu le champ ? et elle dit : oui, autant.

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime: ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Alors Pierre lui dit : pourquoi avez-vous fait un complot entre vous de tenter l’Esprit du Seigneur ? voilà à la porte les pieds de ceux qui ont enterré ton mari, et ils t’emporteront.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Et au même instant elle tomba à ses pieds, et rendit l’esprit. Et quand les jeunes hommes furent entrés, ils la trouvèrent morte, et ils l’emportèrent dehors, et l’enterrèrent auprès de son mari.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

Et cela donna une grande crainte à toute l’Eglise, et à tous ceux qui entendaient ces choses.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Et beaucoup de prodiges et de miracles se faisaient parmi le peuple par les mains des Apôtres ; et ils étaient tous d’un accord au portique de Salomon.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

Cependant nul des autres n’osait se joindre à eux ; mais le peuple les louait hautement.

Et le nombre de ceux qui croyaient au Seigneur, tant d’hommes que de femmes, se multipliait de plus en plus.

Y los que creían en el Señor se aumentaban más, gran número así de hombres como de mujeres;

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Et on apportait les malades dans les rues, et on les mettait sur de petits lits et sur des couchettes, afin que quand Pierre viendrait, au moins son ombre passât sur quelqu’un d’eux.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Le peuple aussi des villes voisines s’assemblait à Jérusalem, apportant les malades, et ceux qui étaient tourmentés des esprits immondes ; et tous étaient guéris.

Y aun de las ciudades vecinas concurría multitud á Jerusalem, trayendo enfermos y atormentados de espíritus inmundos; los cuales todos eran curados.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Alors le souverain Sacrificateur se leva, lui et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui, qui étaient la secte des Sadducéens, et ils furent remplis d’envie ;

Entonces levantándose el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y todos los que estaban con él, que es la secta de los Saduceos, se llenaron de celo;

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,

Allez, et vous présentant dans le Temple, annoncez au peuple toutes les paroles de cette vie.

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Ce qu’ayant entendu, ils entrèrent dès le point du jour dans le Temple, et ils enseignaient. Mais le souverain Sacrificateur étant venu, et ceux qui étaient avec lui, ils assemblèrent le Conseil et tous les Anciens des enfants d’Israël, et ils envoyèrent à la prison pour les faire amener.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Disant : nous avons bien trouvé la prison fermée avec toute sûreté, et les gardes aussi qui étaient devant les portes ; mais après l’avoir ouverte, nous n’avons trouvé personne dedans.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Et quand le souverain Sacrificateur, et le Capitaine du Temple, et les principaux Sacrificateurs, eurent ouï ces paroles, ils furent fort en peine sur leur sujet, ne sachant ce que cela deviendrait.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Mais quelqu’un survint qui leur dit : voilà, les hommes que vous aviez mis en prison, sont au Temple, et se tenant là ils enseignent le peuple.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Alors le Capitaine du Temple avec les huissiers s’en alla, et il les amena sans violence : car ils craignaient d’être lapidés par le peuple.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Disant : ne vous avons-nous pas défendu expressément de n’enseigner point en ce Nom ? et cependant voici, vous avez rempli Jérusalem de votre doctrine, et vous voulez faire venir sur nous le sang de cet homme.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Alors Pierre et les autres Apôtres répondant, dirent : il faut plutôt obéir à Dieu qu’aux hommes.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Le Dieu de nos pères a ressuscité Jésus, que vous avez fait mourir, le pendant au bois.

Et Dieu l’a élevé par sa puissance pour être Prince et Sauveur, afin de donner à Israël la repentance et la rémission des péchés.

Et nous lui sommes témoins de ce que nous disons, et le Saint- Esprit que Dieu a donné à ceux qui lui obéissent, en est aussi témoin.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Mais eux ayant entendu ces choses, grinçaient les dents, et consultaient pour les faire mourir.

Mais un Pharisien nommé Gamaliel, Docteur de la Loi, honoré de tout le peuple, se levant dans le Conseil, commanda que les Apôtres se retirassent dehors pour un peu de temps.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while.

Puis il leur dit : hommes Israélites, prenez garde à ce que vous devrez faire touchant ces gens.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Car avant ce temps-ci s’éleva Theudas, se disant être quelque chose, auquel se joignit un nombre d’hommes d’environ quatre cents ; mais il a été défait, et tous ceux qui s’étaient joints à lui ont été dissipés et réduits à rien.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Après lui parut Judas le Galiléen aux jours du dénombrement, et il attira à lui un grand peuple ; mais celui-ci aussi est péri, et tous ceux qui s’étaient joints à lui ont été dispersés.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.

Maintenant donc je vous dis : ne continuez plus vos poursuites contre ces hommes, et laissez-les : car si cette entreprise ou cette oeuvre est des hommes, elle sera détruite ;

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

Mais si elle est de Dieu, vous ne la pourrez détruire ; et prenez garde que même vous ne soyez trouvés faire la guerre à Dieu. Et ils furent de son avis.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Puis ayant appelé les Apôtres, ils leur commandèrent, après les avoir fouettés, de ne parler point au Nom de Jésus ; après quoi ils les laissèrent aller.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Et les Apôtres se retirèrent de devant le Conseil, joyeux d’avoir été rendus dignes de souffrir des opprobres pour le Nom de Jésus.

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Et ils ne cessaient tous les jours d’enseigner, et d’annoncer Jésus-Christ dans le Temple, et de maison en maison.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
