Ein gewisser Mann aber, mit Namen Ananias, mit Sapphira, seiner Frau, verkaufte ein Gut

MAS un varón llamado Ananías, con Safira su mujer, vendió una posesión,

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

und schaffte von dem Kaufpreis beiseite, wovon auch die Frau wusste; und er brachte einen gewissen Teil und legte ihn nieder zu den Füßen der Apostel.

Petrus aber sprach: Ananias, warum hat der Satan dein Herz erfüllt, dass du den Heiligen Geist belogen und von dem Kaufpreis des Feldes beiseite geschafft hast?

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Blieb es nicht dein, wenn es so blieb, und war es nicht, nachdem es verkauft war, in deiner Gewalt? Was ist es, dass du dir diese Tat in deinem Herzen vorgenommen hast? Nicht Menschen hast du gelogen, sondern Gott.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Als aber Ananias diese Worte hörte, fiel er hin und verschied. Und es kam große Furcht über alle, die es hörten.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Die Jünglinge aber standen auf, rafften ihn zusammen und trugen ihn hinaus und begruben ihn.

Es geschah aber nach Verlauf von etwa drei Stunden, dass seine Frau hereinkam, ohne zu wissen, was geschehen war.

Y pasado espacio como de tres horas, sucedió que entró su mujer, no sabiendo lo que había acontecido.

And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

Petrus aber antwortete ihr: Sage mir, ob ihr für so viel das Feld hingegeben habt? Sie aber sprach: Ja, für so viel.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Petrus aber †sprach zu ihr: Was ist es, dass ihr übereingekommen seid, den Geist des Herrn zu versuchen? Siehe, die Füße derer, die deinen Mann begraben haben, sind an der Tür, und sie werden dich hinaustragen.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Sie fiel aber sogleich zu seinen Füßen nieder und verschied. Und als die Jünglinge hereinkamen, fanden sie sie tot; und sie trugen sie hinaus und begruben sie bei ihrem Mann.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

Und es kam große Furcht über die ganze Versammlung und über alle, die dies hörten.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Aber durch die Hände der Apostel geschahen viele Zeichen und Wunder unter dem Volk; (und sie waren alle einmütig in der Säulenhalle Salomos.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.

Von den übrigen aber wagte keiner sich ihnen anzuschließen, sondern das Volk erhob sie.

Aber um so mehr Gläubige wurden dem Herrn hinzugetan, Scharen von Männern sowohl als Frauen;)

so dass sie die Kranken auf die Straßen hinaustrugen und auf Betten und Lager legten, damit, wenn Petrus käme, auch nur sein Schatten einen von ihnen überschatten möchte.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Es kam aber auch die Menge der umliegenden Städte nach Jerusalem zusammen, und sie brachten Kranke und von unreinen Geistern Geplagte, die alle geheilt wurden.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Der Hohepriester aber stand auf und alle, die mit ihm waren, das ist die Sekte der Sadduzäer, und wurden von Eifersucht erfüllt;

und sie legten die Hände an die Apostel und setzten sie in öffentlichen Gewahrsam.

Ein Engel des Herrn aber öffnete während der Nacht die Türen des Gefängnisses und führte sie hinaus und sprach:

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Als sie es aber gehört hatten, gingen sie frühmorgens in den Tempel und lehrten. Der Hohepriester aber kam und die mit ihm waren, und sie riefen das Synedrium und die ganze Ältestenschaft der Söhne Israels zusammen und sandten nach dem Gefängnis, dass sie herbeigeführt würden.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Als aber die Diener hinkamen, fanden sie sie nicht in dem Gefängnis; und sie kehrten zurück, berichteten

Mas como llegaron los ministros, y no los hallaron en la cárcel, volvieron, y dieron aviso,

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

But the officers who came didn’t find them in the prison. They returned and reported,

und sagten: Wir fanden das Gefängnis mit aller Sorgfalt verschlossen und die Wachen an den Türen stehen; als wir aber aufgemacht hatten, fanden wir niemand darin.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Als aber sowohl †der Priester und der Hauptmann des Tempels als auch die Hohenpriester diese Worte hörten, waren sie über sie in Verlegenheit, was dies doch werden möchte.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.

Es kam aber einer und berichtete ihnen: Siehe, die Männer, die ihr ins Gefängnis gesetzt habt, sind im Tempel, stehen und lehren das Volk.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Da ging der Hauptmann mit den Dienern hin und führte sie herbei, nicht mit Gewalt, denn sie fürchteten das Volk, sie möchten gesteinigt werden.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Sie führten sie aber herbei und stellten sie vor das Synedrium; und der Hohepriester befragte sie

und sprach: Wir haben euch streng geboten, in diesem Namen nicht zu lehren, und siehe, ihr habt Jerusalem erfüllt mit eurer Lehre und wollt das Blut dieses Menschen auf uns bringen.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Petrus und die Apostel aber antworteten und sprachen: Man muss Gott mehr gehorchen als Menschen.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Der Gott unserer Väter hat Jesus auferweckt, den ihr ermordet habt, indem ihr ihn an ein Holz hängtet.

Diesen hat Gott durch seine Rechte zum Führer und Heiland erhöht, um Israel Buße und Vergebung der Sünden zu geben.

Sie aber wurden, als sie es hörten, durchbohrt und ratschlagten, sie umzubringen.

Es stand aber einer in dem Synedrium auf, ein Pharisäer, mit Namen Gamaliel, ein Gesetzgelehrter, angesehen bei dem ganzen Volk, und befahl, die Leute eine kurze Zeit hinauszutun.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while.

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Männer von Israel, seht euch vor wegen dieser Menschen, was ihr tun wollt.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Denn vor diesen Tagen stand Theudas auf und sagte, dass er selbst etwas sei, dem eine Anzahl von etwa 400 Männern anhing; der ist getötet worden, und alle, so viele ihm Gehör gaben, sind zerstreut und zunichte geworden.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Nach diesem stand Judas der Galiläer auf, in den Tagen der Einschreibung, und machte das Volk abfällig sich nach; auch der kam um, und alle, so viele ihm Gehör gaben, wurden zerstreut.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.

Und jetzt sage ich euch: Steht ab von diesen Menschen und lasst sie (denn wenn dieser Rat oder dieses Werk aus Menschen ist, so wird es zugrunde gehen;

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

wenn es aber aus Gott ist, so werdet ihr sie nicht zugrunde richten können), damit ihr nicht gar als solche befunden werdet, die gegen Gott kämpfen.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Und sie gaben ihm Gehör; und als sie die Apostel herbeigerufen hatten, schlugen sie sie und geboten ihnen, nicht in dem Namen Jesu zu reden, und entließen sie.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Sie nun gingen aus dem Synedrium weg, voll Freude, dass sie gewürdigt worden waren, für den Namen Schmach zu leiden;

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

und jeden Tag, in dem Tempel und in den Häusern, hörten sie nicht auf, zu lehren und Jesus als den Christus zu verkündigen.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
