Certo homem chamado Ananias, com Safira, sua mulher, vendeu uma propriedade,

MAS un varón llamado Ananías, con Safira su mujer, vendió una posesión,

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

e ficou com parte do dinheiro da venda (sua mulher também sabia disso). Ele levou a outra parte e colocou aos pés dos apóstolos.

Y defraudó del precio, sabiéndolo también su mujer; y trayendo una parte, púsola á los pies de los apóstoles.

And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

No entanto, Pedro perguntou-lhe: "Ananias, por que Satanás encheu o teu coração para que mentisses ao Espírito Santo e ficasses com uma parte do valor da propriedade?

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Enquanto permanecia sem ser vendida, não era somente tua? E depois de ser vendida, não estava sob teu controle? Como tu pensaste essas coisas no teu coração? Vós não mentistes aos homens, mas a Deus".

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Ao ouvir essas palavras, Ananias caiu e expirou. Grande temor sobreveio a todos os que ouviram isso.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard these things.

E levantando-se os moços, cobriram-no, carregaram-no para fora e sepultaram-no.

Y levantándose los mancebos, le tomaron, y sacándolo, sepultáronlo.

And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

Após cerca de três horas, entrou também sua mulher, não sabendo o que tinha acontecido.

Y pasado espacio como de tres horas, sucedió que entró su mujer, no sabiendo lo que había acontecido.

And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.

Pedro disse para ela: "Conte-me se tu vendeste aquela propriedade por tal quantia?". Ela lhe respondeu: "Sim, vendi por essa quantia".

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime: ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Então, Pedro lhe disse: "Por que entraste em acordo para tentar o Espírito do Senhor? Veja, os que sepultaram o teu marido estão na porta, eles também te levarão".

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Imediatamente ela caiu aos pés dele e expirou, e os moços vieram e acharam-na morta; levaram-na para fora e sepultaram-na junto ao seu marido.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

E um grande temor tomou conta de toda a congregação e de todos aqueles que ouviram essas coisas.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Great fear came on the whole assembly, and on all who heard these things.

Muitos sinais e maravilhas estavam acontecendo entre o povo pelas mãos dos apóstolos. E eles estavam reunidos no Pórtico de Salomão.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.

Embora o povo os estimasse muito, ninguém mais tinha coragem de juntar-se a eles.

Y de los otros, ninguno osaba juntarse con ellos; mas el pueblo los alababa grandemente.

And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

None of the rest dared to join them; however, the people honored them.

E crescia cada vez mais a multidão de crentes no Senhor, tanto homens como mulheres,

Y los que creían en el Señor se aumentaban más, gran número así de hombres como de mujeres;

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

de maneira que até mesmo os doentes eram levados para as ruas e colocados em leitos e macas, afim de que, quando Pedro passasse, ao menos a sua sombra se projetasse sobre alguns deles.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Também vinham juntos em grande número de pessoas das cidades ao redor de Jerusalém, levando doentes e atormentados por espíritos impuros, e todos eram curados.

Y aun de las ciudades vecinas concurría multitud á Jerusalem, trayendo enfermos y atormentados de espíritus inmundos; los cuales todos eran curados.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

The multitude also came together from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits; and they were all healed.

Então o sumo sacerdote se levantou, e todos os que estavam com ele, (isto é, a seita dos saduceus) e tomados de inveja

Entonces levantándose el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y todos los que estaban con él, que es la secta de los Saduceos, se llenaron de celo;

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,

prenderam os apóstolos, colocando-os na prisão pública.

Y echaron mano á los apóstoles, y pusiéronlos en la cárcel pública.

Durante a noite, o anjo do Senhor abriu as portas da cadeia, tirou-os para fora e disse-lhes:

Mas el ángel del Señor, abriendo de noche las puertas de la cárcel, y sacándolos, dijo:

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night, and brought them out and said,

"Ide, apresentai-vos no templo e anunciai para as pessoas todas as palavras dessa vida".

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Após ouvirem isso, entraram no templo ao alvorecer do dia e começaram a ensinar. Porém, chegando o sumo sacerdote e os que estavam com ele, convocaram o Conselho, com todos os líderes religiosos de Israel e enviaram guardas a prisão para trazer os apóstolos.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Os guardas foram até lá, contudo, não os encontraram na prisão, retornaram e reportaram:

Mas como llegaron los ministros, y no los hallaron en la cárcel, volvieron, y dieron aviso,

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

But the officers who came didn’t find them in the prison. They returned and reported,

"Encontramos a prisão trancada com toda segurança, e os guardas em pé juntos às portas, todavia, quando as abrimos, não encontramos ninguém".

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Quando o capitão da guarda do templo e os principais sacerdotes ouviram essas palavras, ficaram muito perplexos concernente ao que havia acontecido.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.

Então chegou alguém e os avisou: "Os homens que colocastes na prisão estão no templo ensinado as pessoas".

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Então o capitão foi com os oficiais e os trouxeram sem violência, pois temiam que o povo os apedrejasse.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

E, depois de trazê-los, os apresentaram ao conselho. O sumo sacerdote os interrogou,

Y como los trajeron, los presentaron en el concilio: y el príncipe de los sacerdotes les preguntó,

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

dizendo: "Ordenamos expressamente que não ensinásseis nesse nome, ainda sim, enchestes Jerusalém com o vosso ensino e quereis lançar sobre nós o sangue desse homem".

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Entretanto, Pedro e os apóstolos responderam: "Devemos obedecer a Deus mais do que aos homens.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.

O Deus de nossos pais ressuscitou a Jesus, a quem vós matastes, suspendendo-o num madeiro.

El Dios de nuestros padres levantó á Jesús, al cual vosotros matasteis colgándole en un madero.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Deus O exaltou à sua mão direita para ser Príncipe e Salvador, para dar o arrependimento a Israel e a remissão dos pecados.

A éste ha Dios ensalzado con su diestra por Príncipe y Salvador, para dar á Israel arrepentimiento y remisión de pecados.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Somos testemunhas dessas coisas, e assim é o Espírito Santo, que Deus tem dado para aqueles que O obedecem".

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Quando ouviram isso, os membros do conselho enfureceram-se e quiseram matar os apóstolos.

Ellos, oyendo esto, regañaban, y consultaban matarlos.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

Mas um fariseu chamado Gamaliel, doutor da lei, respeitado por todas as pessoas, levantou-se e ordenou que os apóstolos fossem levados para fora por um momento.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while.

Em seguida disse-lhes: "Homens de Israel, prestai muita atenção com o que estais para fazer com esses homens.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Há algum tempo atrás, Teudas se levantou dizendo ser alguém, e um número de homens, cerca de quatrocentos, ajuntou-se a ele. Ele foi morto, e todos os que o seguiram foram dispersos e reduzidos a nada.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

For before these days Theudas rose up, making himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves. He was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed and came to nothing.

Após isso, Judas da Galiléia, levantou-se nos dias do censo, e muitos o seguiram. Ele também pereceu, e todos aqueles que lhe obedeciam foram dispersos.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.

Digo-vos, afastai-vos desses homens e deixai-os, porque se esse plano ou obra é de homens, perecerá.

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

Todavia, se é de Deus, vós não podereis destruí-los, para que não sejais, porventura, achados lutando contra Deus". E assim, eles foram convencidos.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Em seguida, chamando os apóstolos, os açoitaram, ordenando-lhes que não falassem no nome de Jesus, e os permitiram ir.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Eles deixaram o conselho regozijando-se por terem sido considerados dignos de sofrer afronta pelo Nome de Jesus.

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for Jesus’ name.

Depois disso, todos os dias, no templo e de casa em casa, continuamente ensinavam e pregavam a Jesus, o Cristo.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
