Ma un certo uomo, chiamato Anania, con Saffira sua moglie, vendé un possesso,

MAS un varón llamado Ananías, con Safira su mujer, vendió una posesión,

e tenne per sé parte del prezzo, essendone consapevole anche la moglie; e portatane una parte, la pose ai piedi degli apostoli.

Y defraudó del precio, sabiéndolo también su mujer; y trayendo una parte, púsola á los pies de los apóstoles.

Ma Pietro disse: Anania, perché ha Satana così riempito il cuor tuo da farti mentire allo Spirito Santo e ritener parte del prezzo del podere?

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Se questo restava invenduto, non restava tuo? E una volta venduto, non ne era il prezzo in tuo potere? Perché ti sei messa in cuore questa cosa? Tu non hai mentito agli uomini ma a Dio.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

E Anania, udendo queste parole, cadde e spirò. E gran paura prese tutti coloro che udiron queste cose.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

E i giovani, levatisi, avvolsero il corpo, e portatolo fuori, lo seppellirono.

Y levantándose los mancebos, le tomaron, y sacándolo, sepultáronlo.

And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

Or avvenne, circa tre ore dopo, che la moglie di lui, non sapendo ciò che era avvenuto, entrò.

Y pasado espacio como de tres horas, sucedió que entró su mujer, no sabiendo lo que había acontecido.

E Pietro, rivolgendosi a lei: Dimmi, le disse, avete voi venduto il podere per tanto? Ed ella rispose: Sì, per tanto.

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime: ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Ma Pietro a lei: Perché vi siete accordati a tentare lo Spirito del Signore? Ecco, i piedi di quelli che hanno seppellito il tuo marito sono all’uscio e ti porteranno via.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Ed ella in quell’istante cadde ai suoi piedi, e spirò. E i giovani, entrati, la trovarono morta; e portatala via, la seppellirono presso al suo marito.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

E gran paura ne venne alla chiesa intera e a tutti coloro che udivano queste cose.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Great fear came on the whole assembly, and on all who heard these things.

E molti segni e prodigi eran fatti fra il popolo per le mani degli apostoli; e tutti di pari consentimento si ritrovavano sotto il portico di Salomone.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.

Ma, degli altri, nessuno ardiva unirsi a loro; il popolo però li magnificava.

Y de los otros, ninguno osaba juntarse con ellos; mas el pueblo los alababa grandemente.

And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

None of the rest dared to join them; however, the people honored them.

E di più in più si aggiungevano al Signore dei credenti, uomini e donne, in gran numero;

Y los que creían en el Señor se aumentaban más, gran número así de hombres como de mujeres;

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

tanto che portavano perfino gli infermi per le piazze, e li mettevano su lettucci e giacigli, affinché, quando Pietro passava, l’ombra sua almeno ne adombrasse qualcuno.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

E anche la moltitudine accorreva dalle città vicine a Gerusalemme, portando dei malati e dei tormentati da spiriti immondi; e tutti quanti eran sanati.

Y aun de las ciudades vecinas concurría multitud á Jerusalem, trayendo enfermos y atormentados de espíritus inmundos; los cuales todos eran curados.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

e misero le mani sopra gli apostoli, e li gettarono nella prigione pubblica.

Y echaron mano á los apóstoles, y pusiéronlos en la cárcel pública.

Ma un angelo del Signore, nella notte, aprì le porte della prigione; e condottili fuori, disse:

Andate, presentatevi nel tempio e quivi annunziate al popolo tutte le parole di questa Vita.

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Ed essi, avendo ciò udito, entrarono sullo schiarir del giorno nel tempio, e insegnavano. Or il sommo sacerdote e coloro che eran con lui vennero, e convocarono il Sinedrio e tutti gli anziani de’ figliuoli d’Israele, e mandarono alla prigione per far menare dinanzi a loro gli apostoli.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Ma le guardie che vi andarono, non li trovarono nella prigione; e tornate, fecero il loro rapporto,

Mas como llegaron los ministros, y no los hallaron en la cárcel, volvieron, y dieron aviso,

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

dicendo: La prigione l’abbiam trovata serrata con ogni diligenza, e le guardie in piè davanti alle porte; ma, avendo aperto, non abbiam trovato alcuno dentro.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Quando il capitano del tempio e i capi sacerdoti udiron queste cose, erano perplessi sul conto loro, non sapendo che cosa ciò potesse essere.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.

Ma sopraggiunse uno che disse loro: Ecco, gli uomini che voi metteste in prigione sono nel tempio, e stanno quivi ammaestrando il popolo.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Allora il capitano del tempio, con le guardie, andò e li menò via, non però con violenza, perché temevano d’esser lapidati dal popolo.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

E avendoli menati, li presentarono al Sinedrio; e il sommo sacerdote li interrogò,

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Ma Pietro e gli altri apostoli, rispondendo, dissero: Bisogna ubbidire a Dio anziché agli uomini.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

L’Iddio de’ nostri padri ha risuscitato Gesù, che voi uccideste appendendolo al legno.

Esso ha Iddio esaltato con la sua destra, costituendolo Principe e Salvatore, per dare ravvedimento a Israele, e remission dei peccati.

A éste ha Dios ensalzado con su diestra por Príncipe y Salvador, para dar á Israel arrepentimiento y remisión de pecados.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

E noi siam testimoni di queste cose; e anche lo Spirito Santo, che Dio ha dato a coloro che gli ubbidiscono.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Ma essi, udendo queste cose, fremevano d’ira, e facevan proposito d’ucciderli.

Ellos, oyendo esto, regañaban, y consultaban matarlos.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

Ma un certo Fariseo, chiamato per nome Gamaliele, dottor della legge, onorato da tutto il popolo, levatosi in piè nel Sinedrio, comandò che gli apostoli fossero per un po’ messi fuori.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the apostles out for a little while.

Poi disse loro: Uomini Israeliti, badate bene, circa questi uomini, a quel che state per fare.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Poiché, prima d’ora, sorse Teuda, dicendosi esser qualche gran cosa; e presso a lui si raccolsero intorno a quattrocento uomini; ed egli fu ucciso e tutti quelli che gli aveano prestata fede, furono sbandati e ridotti a nulla.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Dopo costui, sorse Giuda il Galileo, a’ dì del censimento, e si trascinò dietro della gente; anch’egli perì, e tutti coloro che gli aveano prestata fede, furon dispersi.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.

E adesso io vi dico: Non vi occupate di questi uomini, e lasciateli stare; perché, se questo disegno o quest’opera e dagli uomini, sarà distrutta;

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

ma se è da Dio, voi non li potrete distruggere, se non volete trovarvi a combattere anche contro Dio.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Ed essi furon del suo parere; e chiamati gli apostoli, li batterono, e ordinarono loro di non parlare nel nome di Gesù, e li lasciaron andare.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Ed essi se ne andarono dalla presenza del Sinedrio, rallegrandosi d’essere stati reputati degni di esser vituperati per il nome di Gesù.

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

E ogni giorno, nel tempio e per le case, non ristavano d’insegnare e di annunziare la buona novella che Gesù è il Cristo.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
