Ein Mann aber, mit Namen Ananias, verkaufte mit seinem Weibe Sapphira ein Gut,

MAS un varón llamado Ananías, con Safira su mujer, vendió una posesión,

Und behielt mit Wissen seines Weibes von dem Erlös zurück, brachte einen Teil und legte ihn zu den Füßen der Apostel.

Petrus aber sprach: Ananias, warum hat der Satan dein Herz erfüllt, daß du den Heiligen Geist belogest und von dem Erlös des Grundstückes zurückbehieltest?

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Blieb es nicht, unverkauft, dein eigen, und verkauft in deiner Gewalt? Was hast du den solches in deinem Herzen beschlossen? Du hast nicht Menschen, sondern Gott belogen.

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Da Ananias diese Worte hörte, fiel er nieder und gab den Geist auf. Und es kam eine große Furcht über alle, die es hörten.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Es standen aber die Jüngeren auf, nahmen ihn bei Seite, trugen ihn hinaus und begruben ihn.

Es begab sich aber nach Verlauf von etwa drei Stunden, daß sein Weib, die nichts von dem Vorgefallenen wußte, eintrat.

Da hob Petrus an zu ihr: Sage mir, habt ihr das Grundstück so teuer verkauft? Sie sprach: Ja, so teuer.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Petrus aber sprach zu ihr: Was seid ihr übereingekommen, den Geist des Herrn zu versuchen? Siehe, die Füße derer, die deinen Mann begruben, sind vor der Tür und werden dich hinaustragen.

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Da stürzte sie alsbald zu seinen Füßen nieder und gab den Geist auf. Da traten die Jünglinge ein, fanden sie tot, trugen sie fort und begruben sie bei ihrem Manne.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

Und es kam eine große Furcht über die ganze Gemeinde und über alle, die solches hörten.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Es geschahen aber durch die Hände der Apostel viele Zeichen und Wunder unter dem Volke, und sie waren alle einmütig beisammen in Salomohs Halle.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

Von den übrigen aber wagte keiner sich ihnen zuzugesellen, aber das Volk hielt große Dinge auf sie.

And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

Es wurden aber eine Menge Männer und Weiber, die an den Herrn glaubten, hinzugetan;

So daß man die Kranken auf die Gassen herausbrachte und auf Tragstellen und Betten niederließ, auf daß, wenn Petrus käme, auch nur sein Schatten ihrer einen überschattete.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Es kamen auch viele aus den Städten umher nach Jerusalem, und brachten Kranke und die von unsauberen Geistern geplagt wurden, und alle wurden geheilt.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Da erhob sich aber der Hohepriester und alle, die mit ihm waren, und die Sekte der Sadduzäer, und wurden voll Eifers,

Und legten ihre Hände an die Apostel und brachten sie in öffentlichen Gewahrsam.

Der Engel des Herrn aber tat während der Nacht die Türen des Gefängnisses auf, führte sie heraus und sprach:

Da sie das gehört hatten, gingen sie in aller Frühe in den Tempel und lehrten. Der Hohepriester aber kam herbei und die mit ihm waren, und beriefen den Hohen Rat und alle Ältesten der Söhne Israels und schickten nach dem Gefängnis, um sie vorführen zu lassen.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Als aber die Diener kamen, fanden sie dieselben nicht im Gefängnis, kehrten wieder und verkündigten es,

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

But the officers who came didn’t find them in the prison. They returned and reported,

Und sprachen: Das Gefängnis haben wir mit allem Fleiß verschlossen gefunden und die Hüter standen vor den Türen; da wir aber auftaten, fanden wir niemand darin.

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Wie sie diese Reden hörten, wurden der Oberpriester, der Tempelhauptmann und die Hohenpriester betreten und wußten nicht, was doch das werden sollte.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.

Da kam jemand und sagte ihnen an: Siehe, die Männer, die ihr ins Gefängnis geworfen, sind im Tempel, stehen und lehren das Volk.

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Da ging der Tempelhauptmann mit den Gerichtsdienern ab, und führte sie herbei, nicht mit Gewalt; denn sie fürchteten sich vor dem Volke, sie möchten gesteinigt werden.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Und sprach: Haben wir euch nicht ernstlich untersagt, in diesem Namen zu lehren? Und siehe, ihr habt ganz Jerusalem mit eurer Lehre erfüllt, und wollt das Blut dieses Menschen auf uns bringen.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Da antworteten Petrus und die Apostel und sprachen: Man muß Gott mehr gehorchen als den Menschen.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Der Gott unserer Väter hat Jesus auferweckt, Den ihr zum Tode gebracht und ans Kreuz geschlagen habt.

Diesen hat Gott mit Seiner Rechten zu einem Fürsten und Heiland erhöht, zu geben Israel Buße und Vergebung der Sünden.

Da sie dies hörten, schnitt es ihnen durchs Herz, und sie gedachten, sie umzubringen.

Da stand aber in dem Hohen Rat ein Pharisäer auf, mit Namen Gamaliel, ein Schriftgelehrter, der bei allem Volk in Achtung stand, und hieß die Apostel für eine Weile abführen;

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

Und sprach zu ihnen: Männer von Israel, nehmet euch wohl in Acht, was ihr mit diesen Männern tun wollet,

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Vor diesen Tagen stand Theudas auf und gab vor, er sei etwas, und es hingen ihm eine Anzahl Männer an, bei vierhundert; der ward erschlagen, und alle, die sich zu ihm hielten, sind zerstreut und zunichte geworden.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Nach ihm stand der Galiläer Judas auf, in den Tagen der Schatzung, und brachte viel Volks zum Abfall. Auch er kam um, und alle, die zu ihm hielten, wurden zerstreut.

Después de éste, se levantó Judas el Galileo en los días del empadronamiento, y llevó mucho pueblo tras sí. Pereció también aquél; y todos los que consintieron con él, fueron derramados.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.

Und nun sage ich euch, befasset euch nicht mit diesen Leuten, und lasset sie gehen! Ist dieses Vorgehen, oder dies Werk von Menschen, so wird es untergehen;

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

Ist es aber von Gott, so könnt ihr sie nicht unterdrücken, auf daß ihr nicht als solche erfunden werdet, die wider Gott streiten wollen.

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Da fielen sie ihm zu und riefen den Aposteln, stäupten sie und verboten ihnen, sie sollten nicht reden im Namen Jesus, und gaben sie frei.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Sie aber verließen den Hohen Rat hocherfreut, daß sie gewürdigt wurden, um dieses Namens willen Schmach zu erleiden,

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

und hörten nicht auf, alle Tage im Tempel und in den Häusern zu lehren und das Evangelium von Jesus Christus zu predigen.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
