Als in diesen Tagen die Zahl der Jünger sich mehrte, entstand ein Murren unter den griechischen Juden gegen die Hebräer, daß bei der täglichen Handreichung ihre Witwen hintangesetzt würden.

EN aquellos días, creciendo el número de los discípulos, hubo murmuración de los Griegos contra los Hebreos, de que sus viudas eran menospreciadas en el ministerio cotidiano.

Da riefen die Zwölf die Menge der Jünger zusammen und sprachen: Es will sich nicht geziemen, daß wir das Wort Gottes hintansetzen und Tische besorgen.

Diese stellten sie vor die Apostel, und nachdem sie gebetet hatten, legten sie ihnen die Hände auf.

Und vermochten nicht der Weisheit und dem Geist, womit er redete, zu widerstehen.

Denn wir hörten ihn sagen: Jesus, der Nazarener da, wird diese Stätte zerstören und die Satzungen ändern, die uns Moses übergeben hat.
