dicendo ad Aaronne: Facci degl'iddii, che vadano davanti a noi; perciocchè quant'è a questo Mosè, che ci ha condotti fuor del paese di Egitto, noi non sappiamo quel che gli sia avvenuto.

Diciendo á Aarón: Haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque á este Moisés, que nos sacó de tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le ha acontecido.

Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods that will go before us, for as for this Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.’
