« Le ciel est mon trône, et la terre est le marchepied de mes pieds. Quelle maison me bâtirez-vous, dit le ✶Seigneur, et quel sera le lieu de mon repos ?

El cielo es mi trono, y la tierra es el estrado de mis pies. ¿Qué casa me edificaréis? dice el Señor; ¿ó cuál es el lugar de mi reposo?

Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

‘heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What kind of house will you build me?’ says the Lord. ‘Or what is the place of my rest?
