Quel prophète vos pères n'ont-ils pas persécuté ? Ils ont même tué ceux qui annonçaient d'avance la venue du Juste ; et vous, aujourd'hui, vous l'avez trahi et mis à mort.

¿A cuál de los profetas no persiguieron vuestros padres? y mataron á los que antes anunciaron la venida del Justo, del cual vosotros ahora habéis sido entregadores y matadores;

Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Which of the prophets didn’t your fathers persecute? They killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers.
