Da sprach der Hohepriester: Ist dem also?

EL príncipe de los sacerdotes dijo entonces: ¿Es esto así?

Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

The high priest said, “Are these things so?”

Er aber sprach: Liebe Bruder und Vater, horet zu! Gott der Herrlichkeit erschien unserm Vater Abraham, da er noch in Mesopotamien war, ehe erwohnete in Haran,

Y él dijo: Varones hermanos y padres, oid: El Dios de la gloria apareció á nuestro padre Abraham, estando en Mesopotamia, antes que morase en Chârán,

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

He said, “Brothers and fathers, listen. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,

und er sprach zu ihm: Gehe aus deinem Lande und von deiner Freundschaft und zieh in ein Land, das ich dirzeigen will.

Y le dijo: Sal de tu tierra y de tu parentela, y ven á la tierra que te mostraré.

And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

and said to him, ‘Get out of your land and away from your relatives, and come into a land which I will show you.’

Da ging er aus der Chaldaer Lande und wohnete in Haran. Und von dannen, da sein Vater gestorben war, brachte er ihn heruber in dies Land, darinnen ihr nun wohnet.

Entonces salió de la tierra de los Caldeos, y habitó en Chârán: y de allí, muerto su padre, le traspasó á esta tierra, en la cual vosotros habitáis ahora;

Then came he out of the land of the Chaldæans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

Then he came out of the land of the Chaldaeans and lived in Haran. From there, when his father was dead, God moved him into this land where you are now living.

Und gab ihm kein Erbteil drinnen, auch nicht eines Fulies breit; und verhieli ihm, er wollte es geben ihm zu besitzen und seinem Samen nach ihm, da er noch kein Kind hatte.

Y no le dió herencia en ella, ni aun para asentar un pie: mas le prometió que se la daría en posesión, y á su simiente después de él, no teniendo hijo.

And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

Aber Gott sprach also: Dein Same wird ein Fremdling sein in einem fremden Lande, und sie werden ihn dienstbar machen und ubel handeln vierhundert Jahre.

Y hablóle Dios así: Que su simiente sería extranjera en tierra ajena, y que los reducirían á servidumbre y maltratarían, por cuatrocientos años.

And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

God spoke in this way: that his offspring would live as aliens in a strange land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated for four hundred years.

Und das Volk, dem sie dienen werden, will ich richten, sprach Gott; und danach werden sie ausziehen und mir dienen an dieser Statte .

Mas yo juzgaré, dijo Dios, la nación á la cual serán siervos: y después de esto saldrán y me servirán en este lugar.

And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

‘I will judge the nation to which they will be in bondage,’ said God, ‘and after that they will come out and serve me in this place.’

Und gab ihm den Bund der Beschneidung. Und er zeugete Isaak und beschnitt ihn am achten Tag und Isaak den Jakob und Jakob die zwolf Erzvater.

Y dióle el pacto de la circuncisión: y así Abraham engendró á Isaac, y le circuncidó al octavo día; é Isaac á Jacob, y Jacob á los doce patriarcas.

And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

Und die Erzvater neideten Joseph und verkauften ihn nach Agypten. Aber Gott war mit ihm

Y los patriarcas, movidos de envidia, vendieron á José para Egipto; mas Dios era con él,

And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

“The patriarchs, moved with jealousy against Joseph, sold him into Egypt. God was with him

und errettete ihn aus aller seiner Trubsal und gab ihm Gnade und Weisheit vor dem Konige Pharao in Agypten; der setzte ihn zum Fursten uber Agypten und uber sein ganzes Haus.

Y le libró de todas sus tribulaciones, y le dió gracia y sabiduría en la presencia de Faraón, rey de Egipto, el cual le puso por gobernador sobre Egipto, y sobre toda su casa.

And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Es kam aber eine teure Zeit uber das ganze Land Agypten und Kanaan und eine grolie Trubsal, und unsere Vater fanden nicht Futterung.

Vino entonces hambre en toda la tierra de Egipto y de Canaán, y grande tribulación; y nuestros padres no hallaban alimentos.

Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

Jakob aber horete, dal L in Agypten Getreide ware, und sandte unsere Vater aus aufs erste Mai.

Y como oyese Jacob que había trigo en Egipto, envió á nuestros padres la primera vez.

Und zum andernmal ward Joseph erkannt von seinen Brudern und ward Pharao Josephs Geschlecht offenbar.

Y en la segunda, José fué conocido de sus hermanos, y fué sabido de Faraón el linaje de José.

And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

Joseph aber sandte aus und lieli holen seinen Vater Jakob und seine ganze Freundschaft, funfundsiebzig Seelen.

Y enviando José, hizo venir á su padre Jacob, y á toda su parentela, en número de setenta y cinco personas.

Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

Und Jakob zog hinab nach Agypten und starb, er und unsere Vater.

Así descendió Jacob á Egipto, donde murió él y nuestros padres;

Und sind herubergebracht nach Sichem und gelegt in das Grab, das Abraham gekauft hatte urns Geld von den Kindern Hemors zu Sichem.

Los cuales fueron trasladados á Sichêm, y puestos en el sepulcro que compró Abraham á precio de dinero de los hijos de Hemor de Sichêm.

And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

and they were brought back to Shechem and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a price in silver from the children of Hamor of Shechem.

Da nun sich die Zeit der Verheiliung nahete, die Gott Abraham geschworen hatte, wuchs das Volk und mehrete sich in Agypten,

Mas como se acercaba el tiempo de la promesa, la cual Dios había jurado á Abraham, el pueblo creció y multiplicóse en Egipto,

But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

bis daß ein anderer Konig aufkam, der nichts wulite von Joseph.

Hasta que se levantó otro rey en Egipto que no conocía á José.

Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

until there arose a different king who didn’t know Joseph.

Dieser trieb Hinterlist mit unserm Geschlechte und behandelte unsere Vater ubel und schaffte, dad man die jungen Kindlein hinwerfen mudte, dad sie nicht lebendig blieben.

Este, usando de astucia con nuestro linaje, maltrató á nuestros padres, á fin de que pusiesen á peligro de muerte sus niños, para que cesase la generación.

The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

The same took advantage of our race and mistreated our fathers, and forced them to abandon their babies, so that they wouldn’t stay alive.

Zu der Zeit ward Mose geboren und war ein fein Kind vor Gott und ward drei Monden ernahret in seines Vaters Hause.

En aquel mismo tiempo nació Moisés, y fué agradable á Dios: y fué criado tres meses en casa de su padre.

In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months:

At that time Moses was born, and was exceedingly handsome to God. He was nourished three months in his father’s house.

Als er aber hingeworfen ward, nahm ihn die Tochter Pharaos auf und zog ihn auf zu einem Sohn.

Mas siendo puesto al peligro, la hija de Faraón le tomó, y le crió como á hijo suyo.

And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

When he was abandoned, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up and reared him as her own son.

Und Mose ward gelehret in aller Weisheit der Agypter und war machtig in Werken und Worten.

Y fué enseñado Moisés en toda la sabiduría de los egipcios; y era poderoso en sus dichos y hechos.

And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. He was mighty in his words and works.

Da er aber vierzig Jahre alt ward, gedachte er, zu besehen seine Bruder, die Kinder von Israel,

Y cuando hubo cumplido la edad de cuarenta años, le vino voluntad de visitar á sus hermanos los hijos de Israel.

And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

und sah einen Unrecht leiden. Da überhalf er und rachete den, dem Leid geschah, und erschlug den Agypter.

Y como vió á uno que era injuriado, defendióle, é hiriendo al Egipcio, vengó al injuriado.

And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:

Er meinete aber, seine Bruder sollten's vernehmen, daß Gott durch seine Hand ihnen Heil gabe; aber sie vernahmen's nicht.

Pero él pensaba que sus hermanos entendían que Dios les había de dar salud por su mano; mas ellos no lo habían entendido.

For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

He supposed that his brothers understood that God, by his hand, was giving them deliverance; but they didn’t understand.

Und am andern Tage kam erzu ihnen, da sie sich miteinander haderten, und handelte mit ihnen, daß sie Frieden hatten, und sprach: Liebe Manner, ihr seid Bruder, warum tut einer dem andern Unrecht?

Y al día siguiente, riñendo ellos, se les mostró, y los ponía en paz, diciendo: Varones, hermanos sois, ¿por qué os injuriáis los unos á los otros?

And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?

“The day following, he appeared to them as they fought, and urged them to be at peace again, saying, ‘Sirs, you are brothers. Why do you wrong one another?’

Der aber seinem Nachsten Unrecht tat, stieli ihn von sich und sprach: Wer hat dich uber uns gesetzt zum Obersten und Richter?

Entonces el que injuriaba á su prójimo, le rempujó, diciendo: ¿Quién te ha puesto por príncipe y juez sobre nosotros?

But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

Willst du mich auch toten, wie du gestern den Agypter totetest?

¿Quieres tú matarme, como mataste ayer al Egipcio?

Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?

Do you want to kill me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?’

Mose aber floh uber dieser Rede und ward ein Fremdling im Lande Midian. Daselbst zeugete erzwei Sohne.

A esta palabra Moisés huyó, y se hizo extranjero en tierra de Madián, donde engendró dos hijos.

Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.

Und uber vierzig Jahre erschien ihm in der Wüste auf dem Berge Sinai der Engel des Herm in einer Feuerflamme im Busch.

Y cumplidos cuarenta años, un ángel le apareció en el desierto del monte Sina, en fuego de llama de una zarza.

And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

“When forty years were fulfilled, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.

Da es aber Mose sah, wunderte er sich des Gesichtes. Als er aber hinzuging, zu schauen, geschah die Stimme des Herrn zu ihm:

Entonces Moisés mirando, se maravilló de la visión: y llegándose para considerar, fué hecha á él voz del Señor:

When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,

Ich bin der Gott deiner Vater, der Gott Abrahams und der Gott Isaaks und der Gott Jakobs. Mose aber ward zitternd und durfte nicht anschauen.

Yo soy el Dios de tus padres, el Dios de Abraham, y el Dios de Isaac, y el Dios de Jacob. Mas Moisés, temeroso, no osaba mirar.

Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

‘I am the God of your fathers: the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ Moses trembled and dared not look.

Aber der Herr sprach zu ihm: Zieh die Schuhe aus von deinen FQISen; denn die Statte, da du stehest, ist heilig Land.

Y le dijo el Señor: Quita los zapatos de tus pies, porque el lugar en que estás es tierra santa.

Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

The Lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you stand is holy ground.

Ich habe wohl gesehen das Leiden meines Volks, das in Agypten ist, und habe ihr Seufzen gehoret und bin herabkommen, sie zu erretten. Und nun komm her; ich will dich nach Agypten senden.

He visto, he visto la aflicción de mi pueblo que está en Egipto, y he oído el gemido de ellos, y he descendido para librarlos. Ahora pues, ven, te enviaré á Egipto.

I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their groaning. I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you into Egypt.’

Diesen Mose, welchen sie verleugneten und sprachen: Wer hat dich zum Obersten und Richter gesetzt? den sandte Gott zu einem Obersten und Erloser durch die Hand des Engels, der ihm erschien im Busch.

A este Moisés, al cual habían rehusado, diciendo: ¿Quién te ha puesto por príncipe y juez? á éste envió Dios por príncipe y redentor con la mano del ángel que le apareció en la zarza.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

“This Moses whom they refused, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’—God has sent him as both a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

Dieser fuhrete sie aus und tat Wunder und Zeichen in Agypten, im Roten Meer und in der Wüste vierzig Jahre.

Este los sacó, habiendo hecho prodigios y milagros en la tierra de Egipto, y en el mar Bermejo, y en el desierto por cuarenta años.

He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

This man led them out, having worked wonders and signs in Egypt, in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.

Dies ist Mose, der zu den Kindern von Israel gesagt hat: Einen Propheten wird euch der Herr, euer Gott, erwecken aus euren Brudern gleichwie mich, den sollt ihr horen.

Este es el Moisés, el cual dijo á los hijos de Israel: Profeta os levantará el Señor Dios vuestro de vuestros hermanos, como yo; á él oiréis.

This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.’

Dieser ist's, der in der Gemeinde in der Wüste mit dem Engel war, der mit ihm redete auf dem Berge Sinai und mit unsern Vatern; dieser empfing das lebendige Wort, uns zu geben;

Este es aquél que estuvo en la congregación en el desierto con el ángel que le hablaba en el monte Sina, y con nuestros padres; y recibió las palabras de vida para darnos:

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel that spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received living revelations to give to us,

welchem nicht wollten gehorsam werden eure Vater, sondern stiefien ihn von sich und wandten sich urn mit ihren Herzen gen Agypten

Al cual nuestros padres no quisieron obedecer; antes le desecharon, y se apartaron de corazón á Egipto,

To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

to whom our fathers wouldn’t be obedient, but rejected him and turned back in their hearts to Egypt,

und sprachen zu Aaron: Mache uns Gotter, die vor uns hingehen; denn wir wissen nicht, was diesem Mose, der uns aus dem Lande Agypten geführet hat, widerfahren ist.

Diciendo á Aarón: Haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque á este Moisés, que nos sacó de tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le ha acontecido.

Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods that will go before us, for as for this Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.’

Und machten ein Kalb zu der Zeit und opferten dem Gotzen Opfer und freueten sich der Werke ihrer Hande.

Y entonces hicieron un becerro, y ofrecieron sacrificio al ídolo, y en las obras de sus manos se holgaron.

And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

Aber Gott wandte sich und gab sie dahin, dafi sie dieneten des Himmels Heer; wie denn geschrieben stehet in dem Buch des Propheten: Habt ihrvom Hause Israel die vierzig Jahre in der Wüste mir auch je Opfer und Vieh geopfert?

Y Dios se apartó, y los entregó que sirviesen al ejército del cielo; como está escrito en el libro de los profetas: ¿Me ofrecisteis víctimas y sacrificios en el desierto por cuarenta años, casa de Israel?

Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

But God turned away and gave them up to serve the army of the sky, as it is written in the book of the prophets, ‘Did you offer to me slain animals and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

Und ihr nahmet die Hütte Molochs an und das Gestirn eures Gottes Remphan, die Bilder, die ihr gemacht hattet, sie anzubeten; und ich will euch wegwerfen jenseit Babyloniens.

Antes, trajisteis el tabernáculo de Moloch, y la estrella de vuestro dios Remphan: figuras que os hicisteis para adorarlas: os transportaré pues, más allá de Babilonia.

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Es hatten unsere Vater die Hütte des Zeugnisses in der Wüste, wie er ihnen das verordnet hatte, da er zu Mose redete, daß er sie machen sollte nach dem Vorbilde, das ergesehen hatte,

Tuvieron nuestros padres el tabernáculo del testimonio en el desierto, como había ordenado Dios, hablando á Moisés que lo hiciese según la forma que había visto.

Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

“Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, even as he who spoke to Moses commanded him to make it according to the pattern that he had seen;

welche unsere Vater auch annahmen und brachten sie mit Josua in das Land, das die Heiden innehatten, welche Gott ausstieß vor dem Angesichte unserer Vater bis zur Zeit Davids.

El cual recibido, metieron también nuestros padres con Josué en la posesión de los Gentiles, que Dios echó de la presencia de nuestros padres, hasta los días de David;

Der fand Gnade bei Gott und bat, daß er eine Hütte finden mochte dem Gott Jakobs.

El cual halló gracia delante de Dios, y pidió hallar tabernáculo para el Dios de Jacob.

Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

who found favor in the sight of God, and asked to find a habitation for the God of Jacob.

Salomo aber bauete ihm ein Haus.

Aber der Allerhochste wohnet nicht in Tempeln, die mit Handen gemacht sind, wie der Prophet spricht:

Si bien el Altísimo no habita en templos hechos de mano; como el profeta dice:

Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

However, the Most High doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says,

Der Himmel ist mein Stuhl und die Erde meiner Fuße Schemel; was wollt ihr mir denn für ein Haus bauen, spricht der Herr, Oder welches ist die Statte meiner Ruhe?

El cielo es mi trono, y la tierra es el estrado de mis pies. ¿Qué casa me edificaréis? dice el Señor; ¿ó cuál es el lugar de mi reposo?

Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

‘heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What kind of house will you build me?’ says the Lord. ‘Or what is the place of my rest?

Hat nicht meine Hand das alles gemacht?

¿No hizo mi mano todas estas cosas?

Hath not my hand made all these things?

Didn’t my hand make all these things?’

Ihr Halsstarrigen und Unbeschnittenen an Herzen und Ohren, ihrwiderstrebet allezeit dem Heiligen Geist, wie eure Vater, also auch ihr!

Duros de cerviz, é incircuncisos de corazón y de oídos, vosotros resistís siempre al Espíritu Santo: como vuestros padres, así también vosotros.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

“You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.
