Und das Volk, dem sie dienen werden, will ich richten, sprach Gott; und danach werden sie ausziehen und mir dienen an dieser Stätte.

EL príncipe de los sacerdotes dijo entonces: ¿Es esto así?

Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

The high priest said, “Are these things so?”

Und gab ihm den Bund der Beschneidung. Und er zeugete Isaak und beschnitt ihn am achten Tag und Isaak den Jakob und Jakob die zwölf Erzväter.

Y él dijo: Varones hermanos y padres, oid: El Dios de la gloria apareció á nuestro padre Abraham, estando en Mesopotamia, antes que morase en Chârán,

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

He said, “Brothers and fathers, listen. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,

Und die Erzväter neideten Joseph und verkauften ihn nach Ägypten. Aber Gott war mit ihm

Y le dijo: Sal de tu tierra y de tu parentela, y ven á la tierra que te mostraré.

And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

and said to him, ‘Get out of your land and away from your relatives, and come into a land which I will show you.’

und errettete ihn aus aller seiner Trübsal und gab ihm Gnade und Weisheit vor dem Könige Pharao in Ägypten; der setzte ihn zum Fürsten über Ägypten und über sein ganzes Haus.

Entonces salió de la tierra de los Caldeos, y habitó en Chârán: y de allí, muerto su padre, le traspasó á esta tierra, en la cual vosotros habitáis ahora;

Then came he out of the land of the Chaldæans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

Then he came out of the land of the Chaldaeans and lived in Haran. From there, when his father was dead, God moved him into this land where you are now living.

Es kam aber eine teure Zeit über das ganze Land Ägypten und Kanaan und eine große Trübsal, und unsere Väter fanden nicht Fütterung.

Y hablóle Dios así: Que su simiente sería extranjera en tierra ajena, y que los reducirían á servidumbre y maltratarían, por cuatrocientos años.

And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

God spoke in this way: that his offspring would live as aliens in a strange land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated for four hundred years.

Und zum andernmal ward Joseph erkannt von seinen Brüdern und ward Pharao Josephs Geschlecht offenbar.

Mas yo juzgaré, dijo Dios, la nación á la cual serán siervos: y después de esto saldrán y me servirán en este lugar.

And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

Joseph aber sandte aus und ließ holen seinen Vater Jakob und seine ganze Freundschaft, fünfundsiebzig Seelen.

Y dióle el pacto de la circuncisión: y así Abraham engendró á Isaac, y le circuncidó al octavo día; é Isaac á Jacob, y Jacob á los doce patriarcas.

And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

Und Jakob zog hinab nach Ägypten und starb, er und unsere Väter.

Y los patriarcas, movidos de envidia, vendieron á José para Egipto; mas Dios era con él,

Und sind herübergebracht nach Sichem und gelegt in das Grab, das Abraham gekauft hatte ums Geld von den Kindern Hemors zu Sichem.

Y le libró de todas sus tribulaciones, y le dió gracia y sabiduría en la presencia de Faraón, rey de Egipto, el cual le puso por gobernador sobre Egipto, y sobre toda su casa.

And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Da nun sich die Zeit der Verheißung nahete, die Gott Abraham geschworen hatte, wuchs das Volk und mehrete sich in Ägypten,

bis daß ein anderer König aufkam, der nichts wußte von Joseph.

Y como oyese Jacob que había trigo en Egipto, envió á nuestros padres la primera vez.

Dieser trieb Hinterlist mit unserm Geschlechte und behandelte unsere Väter übel und schaffte, daß man die jungen Kindlein hinwerfen mußte, daß sie nicht lebendig blieben.

Zu der Zeit ward Mose geboren und war ein fein Kind vor Gott und ward drei Monden ernähret in seines Vaters Hause.

Y enviando José, hizo venir á su padre Jacob, y á toda su parentela, en número de setenta y cinco personas.

Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

Als er aber hingeworfen ward, nahm ihn die Tochter Pharaos auf und zog ihn auf zu einem Sohn.

Und Mose ward gelehret in aller Weisheit der Ägypter und war mächtig in Werken und Worten.

Los cuales fueron trasladados á Sichêm, y puestos en el sepulcro que compró Abraham á precio de dinero de los hijos de Hemor de Sichêm.

And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

and they were brought back to Shechem and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a price in silver from the children of Hamor of Shechem.

Da er aber vierzig Jahre alt ward, gedachte er, zu besehen seine Brüder, die Kinder von Israel,

und sah einen Unrecht leiden. Da überhalf er und rächete den, dem Leid geschah, und erschlug den Ägypter.

Hasta que se levantó otro rey en Egipto que no conocía á José.

Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

until there arose a different king who didn’t know Joseph.

Er meinete aber, seine Brüder sollten's vernehmen, daß Gott durch seine Hand ihnen Heil gäbe; aber sie vernahmen's nicht.

Este, usando de astucia con nuestro linaje, maltrató á nuestros padres, á fin de que pusiesen á peligro de muerte sus niños, para que cesase la generación.

The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

The same took advantage of our race and mistreated our fathers, and forced them to abandon their babies, so that they wouldn’t stay alive.

En aquel mismo tiempo nació Moisés, y fué agradable á Dios: y fué criado tres meses en casa de su padre.

In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months:

Der aber seinem Nächsten Unrecht tat, stieß ihn von sich und sprach: Wer hat dich über uns gesetzt zum Obersten und Richter?

Mas siendo puesto al peligro, la hija de Faraón le tomó, y le crió como á hijo suyo.

And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

When he was abandoned, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up and reared him as her own son.

Willst du mich auch töten, wie du gestern den Ägypter tötetest?

Y fué enseñado Moisés en toda la sabiduría de los egipcios; y era poderoso en sus dichos y hechos.

And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. He was mighty in his words and works.

Mose aber floh über dieser Rede und ward ein Fremdling im Lande Midian. Daselbst zeugete er zwei Söhne.

Y cuando hubo cumplido la edad de cuarenta años, le vino voluntad de visitar á sus hermanos los hijos de Israel.

And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

Und über vierzig Jahre erschien ihm in der Wüste auf dem Berge Sinai der Engel des HERRN in einer Feuerflamme im Busch.

Y como vió á uno que era injuriado, defendióle, é hiriendo al Egipcio, vengó al injuriado.

And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:

Da es aber Mose sah, wunderte er sich des Gesichtes. Als er aber hinzuging, zu schauen, geschah die Stimme des HERRN zu ihm:

Pero él pensaba que sus hermanos entendían que Dios les había de dar salud por su mano; mas ellos no lo habían entendido.

For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

He supposed that his brothers understood that God, by his hand, was giving them deliverance; but they didn’t understand.

Ich bin der Gott deiner Väter, der Gott Abrahams und der Gott Isaaks und der Gott Jakobs. Mose aber ward zitternd und durfte nicht anschauen.

Y al día siguiente, riñendo ellos, se les mostró, y los ponía en paz, diciendo: Varones, hermanos sois, ¿por qué os injuriáis los unos á los otros?

And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?

“The day following, he appeared to them as they fought, and urged them to be at peace again, saying, ‘Sirs, you are brothers. Why do you wrong one another?’

Aber der HERR sprach zu ihm: Zieh die Schuhe aus von deinen Füßen; denn die Stätte, da du stehest, ist heilig Land.

Entonces el que injuriaba á su prójimo, le rempujó, diciendo: ¿Quién te ha puesto por príncipe y juez sobre nosotros?

But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?

Ich habe wohl gesehen das Leiden meines Volks, das in Ägypten ist, und habe ihr Seufzen gehöret und bin herabkommen, sie zu erretten. Und nun komm her; ich will dich nach Ägypten senden.

¿Quieres tú matarme, como mataste ayer al Egipcio?

Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?

Do you want to kill me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?’

Diesen Mose, welchen sie verleugneten und sprachen: Wer hat dich zum Obersten und Richter gesetzt? den sandte Gott zu einem Obersten und Erlöser durch die Hand des Engels, der ihm erschien im Busch.

A esta palabra Moisés huyó, y se hizo extranjero en tierra de Madián, donde engendró dos hijos.

Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.

Dieser führete sie aus und tat Wunder und Zeichen in Ägypten, im Roten Meer und in der Wüste vierzig Jahre.

Y cumplidos cuarenta años, un ángel le apareció en el desierto del monte Sina, en fuego de llama de una zarza.

And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

“When forty years were fulfilled, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.

Dies ist Mose, der zu den Kindern von Israel gesagt hat: Einen Propheten wird euch der HERR, euer Gott, erwecken aus euren Brüdern gleichwie mich, den sollt ihr hören.

Entonces Moisés mirando, se maravilló de la visión: y llegándose para considerar, fué hecha á él voz del Señor:

Dieser ist's, der in der Gemeinde in der Wüste mit dem Engel war, der mit ihm redete auf dem Berge Sinai und mit unsern Vätern; dieser empfing das lebendige Wort, uns zu geben;

Yo soy el Dios de tus padres, el Dios de Abraham, y el Dios de Isaac, y el Dios de Jacob. Mas Moisés, temeroso, no osaba mirar.

Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

‘I am the God of your fathers: the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ Moses trembled and dared not look.

welchem nicht wollten gehorsam werden eure Väter, sondern stießen ihn von sich und wandten sich um mit ihren Herzen gen Ägypten

Y le dijo el Señor: Quita los zapatos de tus pies, porque el lugar en que estás es tierra santa.

Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

The Lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you stand is holy ground.

und sprachen zu Aaron: Mache uns Götter, die vor uns hingehen; denn wir wissen nicht, was diesem Mose, der uns aus dem Lande Ägypten geführet hat, widerfahren ist.

He visto, he visto la aflicción de mi pueblo que está en Egipto, y he oído el gemido de ellos, y he descendido para librarlos. Ahora pues, ven, te enviaré á Egipto.

I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

Und machten ein Kalb zu der Zeit und opferten dem Götzen Opfer und freueten sich der Werke ihrer Hände.

A este Moisés, al cual habían rehusado, diciendo: ¿Quién te ha puesto por príncipe y juez? á éste envió Dios por príncipe y redentor con la mano del ángel que le apareció en la zarza.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

“This Moses whom they refused, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’—God has sent him as both a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

Aber Gott wandte sich und gab sie dahin, daß sie dieneten des Himmels Heer; wie denn geschrieben stehet in dem Buch des Propheten: Habt ihr vom Hause Israel die vierzig Jahre in der Wüste mir auch je Opfer und Vieh geopfert?

Este los sacó, habiendo hecho prodigios y milagros en la tierra de Egipto, y en el mar Bermejo, y en el desierto por cuarenta años.

He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

Und ihr nahmet die Hütte Molochs an und das Gestirn eures Gottes Remphan, die Bilder, die ihr gemacht hattet, sie anzubeten; und ich will euch wegwerfen jenseit Babyloniens.

Este es el Moisés, el cual dijo á los hijos de Israel: Profeta os levantará el Señor Dios vuestro de vuestros hermanos, como yo; á él oiréis.

This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.’

Es hatten unsere Väter die Hütte des Zeugnisses in der Wüste, wie er ihnen das verordnet hatte, da er zu Mose redete, daß er sie machen sollte nach dem Vorbilde, das er gesehen hatte,

Este es aquél que estuvo en la congregación en el desierto con el ángel que le hablaba en el monte Sina, y con nuestros padres; y recibió las palabras de vida para darnos:

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel that spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received living revelations to give to us,

welche unsere Väter auch annahmen und brachten sie mit Josua in das Land, das die Heiden innehatten, welche Gott ausstieß vor dem Angesichte unserer Väter bis zur Zeit Davids.

Al cual nuestros padres no quisieron obedecer; antes le desecharon, y se apartaron de corazón á Egipto,

To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

to whom our fathers wouldn’t be obedient, but rejected him and turned back in their hearts to Egypt,

Der fand Gnade bei Gott und bat, daß er eine Hütte finden möchte dem Gott Jakobs.

Diciendo á Aarón: Haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque á este Moisés, que nos sacó de tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le ha acontecido.

Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods that will go before us, for as for this Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.’

Salomo aber bauete ihm ein Haus.

Y entonces hicieron un becerro, y ofrecieron sacrificio al ídolo, y en las obras de sus manos se holgaron.

And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

Aber der Allerhöchste wohnet nicht in Tempeln, die mit Händen gemacht sind, wie der Prophet spricht:

Y Dios se apartó, y los entregó que sirviesen al ejército del cielo; como está escrito en el libro de los profetas: ¿Me ofrecisteis víctimas y sacrificios en el desierto por cuarenta años, casa de Israel?

Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

But God turned away and gave them up to serve the army of the sky, as it is written in the book of the prophets, ‘Did you offer to me slain animals and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

Der Himmel ist mein Stuhl und die Erde meiner Füße Schemel; was wollt ihr mir denn für ein Haus bauen, spricht der HERR, oder welches ist die Stätte meiner Ruhe?

Antes, trajisteis el tabernáculo de Moloch, y la estrella de vuestro dios Remphan: figuras que os hicisteis para adorarlas: os transportaré pues, más allá de Babilonia.

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Hat nicht meine Hand das alles gemacht?

Tuvieron nuestros padres el tabernáculo del testimonio en el desierto, como había ordenado Dios, hablando á Moisés que lo hiciese según la forma que había visto.

Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

“Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, even as he who spoke to Moses commanded him to make it according to the pattern that he had seen;

Ihr Halsstarrigen und Unbeschnittenen an Herzen und Ohren, ihr widerstrebet allezeit dem Heiligen Geist, wie eure Väter, also auch ihr!

El cual recibido, metieron también nuestros padres con Josué en la posesión de los Gentiles, que Dios echó de la presencia de nuestros padres, hasta los días de David;

Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

which also our fathers, in their turn, brought in with Joshua when they entered into the possession of the nations whom God drove out before the face of our fathers to the days of David,

Welchen Propheten haben eure Väter nicht verfolget und, sie getötet, die da zuvor verkündigten die Zukunft dieses Gerechten, dessen Verräter und Mörder ihr nun worden seid?

El cual halló gracia delante de Dios, y pidió hallar tabernáculo para el Dios de Jacob.

Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

who found favor in the sight of God, and asked to find a habitation for the God of Jacob.

Ihr habt das Gesetz empfangen durch der Engel Geschäfte und habt's nicht gehalten.

Da sie solches höreten, ging's ihnen durchs Herz, und bissen die Zähne zusammen über ihn.

Si bien el Altísimo no habita en templos hechos de mano; como el profeta dice:

Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Als er aber voll Heiligen Geistes war, sah er auf gen Himmel und sah die HERRLIchkeit Gottes und Jesum stehen zur Rechten Gottes und sprach: Siehe, ich sehe den Himmel offen und des Menschen Sohn zur Rechten Gottes stehen.

El cielo es mi trono, y la tierra es el estrado de mis pies. ¿Qué casa me edificaréis? dice el Señor; ¿ó cuál es el lugar de mi reposo?

Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

‘heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What kind of house will you build me?’ says the Lord. ‘Or what is the place of my rest?

Sie schrieen aber laut und hielten ihre Ohren zu und stürmeten einmütiglich zu ihm ein, stießen ihn zur Stadt hinaus und steinigten ihn.

¿No hizo mi mano todas estas cosas?

Hath not my hand made all these things?

Didn’t my hand make all these things?’

Und die Zeugen legten ab ihre Kleider zu den Füßen eines Jünglings, der hieß Saulus.

Duros de cerviz, é incircuncisos de corazón y de oídos, vosotros resistís siempre al Espíritu Santo: como vuestros padres, así también vosotros.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

“You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.

Er knieete aber nieder und schrie laut: HERR, behalt ihnen diese Sünde nicht! Und als er das gesagt, entschlief er.

Saulus aber hatte Wohlgefallen an seinem Tode. Es erhub sich aber zu der Zeit eine große Verfolgung über die Gemeinde zu Jerusalem; und sie zerstreueten sich alle in die Länder Judäa und Samarien ohne die Apostel.

Das Volk aber hörete einmütiglich und fleißig zu, was Philippus sagte, und sahen die Zeichen, die er tat.
