Da sprach der Hohepriester: Ist dem also?

EL príncipe de los sacerdotes dijo entonces: ¿Es esto así?

Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

The high priest said, “Are these things so?”

Da sprach er: Männer, Brüder und Väter, höret: Der Gott der Herrlichkeit erschien unserem Vater Abraham, da er in Mesopotamien war, eher er sich in Charan niederließ;

Y él dijo: Varones hermanos y padres, oid: El Dios de la gloria apareció á nuestro padre Abraham, estando en Mesopotamia, antes que morase en Chârán,

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

He said, “Brothers and fathers, listen. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,

Und sprach zu ihm: Gehe aus deinem Lande und aus deiner Verwandtschaft hin in ein Land, das Ich dir zeigen werde.

Y le dijo: Sal de tu tierra y de tu parentela, y ven á la tierra que te mostraré.

And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

and said to him, ‘Get out of your land and away from your relatives, and come into a land which I will show you.’

Da zog er aus von der Chaldäer Land und ließ sich in Charan nieder; und von dannen nach dem Tode seines Vaters führte Er ihn über in dieses Land, darin ihr nun wohnet.

Entonces salió de la tierra de los Caldeos, y habitó en Chârán: y de allí, muerto su padre, le traspasó á esta tierra, en la cual vosotros habitáis ahora;

Then came he out of the land of the Chaldæans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

Then he came out of the land of the Chaldaeans and lived in Haran. From there, when his father was dead, God moved him into this land where you are now living.

Und gab ihm kein Besitztum darin, auch nicht eines Fußes breit; verhieß aber, es ihm und seinen Samen nach ihm zum Besitze zu geben, als er noch kein Kind hatte.

Y no le dió herencia en ella, ni aun para asentar un pie: mas le prometió que se la daría en posesión, y á su simiente después de él, no teniendo hijo.

And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

Es redete aber Gott also: Dein Same wird ein Fremdling sein in einem fremden Lande, und sie werden ihn dienstbar machen und mißhandeln vierhundert Jahre lang.

Y hablóle Dios así: Que su simiente sería extranjera en tierra ajena, y que los reducirían á servidumbre y maltratarían, por cuatrocientos años.

And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

God spoke in this way: that his offspring would live as aliens in a strange land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated for four hundred years.

Aber Ich werde das Volk, dem sie dienen, richten, sprach Gott: Und danach werden sie ausziehen und Mir an dieser Stätte dienen.

Mas yo juzgaré, dijo Dios, la nación á la cual serán siervos: y después de esto saldrán y me servirán en este lugar.

And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

‘I will judge the nation to which they will be in bondage,’ said God, ‘and after that they will come out and serve me in this place.’

Und gab ihm den Bund der Beschneidung; und so zeugte er Isaak und beschnitt ihn am achten Tage, und Isaak den Jakob, und Jakob die zwölf Erzväter,

Y dióle el pacto de la circuncisión: y así Abraham engendró á Isaac, y le circuncidó al octavo día; é Isaac á Jacob, y Jacob á los doce patriarcas.

And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

Und die Erzväter neideten Joseph und verkauften ihn nach Ägypten.

Y los patriarcas, movidos de envidia, vendieron á José para Egipto; mas Dios era con él,

And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

Aber Gott war mit ihm, und errettete ihn aus all seinen Trübsalen und schenkte ihm Gnade und Weisheit vor Pharao, dem König Ägyptens, daß er ihn setzte zum Fürsten über Ägypten und über sein ganzes Haus.

Y le libró de todas sus tribulaciones, y le dió gracia y sabiduría en la presencia de Faraón, rey de Egipto, el cual le puso por gobernador sobre Egipto, y sobre toda su casa.

And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Da kam eine Teuerung über ganz Ägyptenland und Kanaan und eine große Trübsal, und unsere Väter fanden nicht Nahrung genug.

Vino entonces hambre en toda la tierra de Egipto y de Canaán, y grande tribulación; y nuestros padres no hallaban alimentos.

Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

Jakob aber hörte, daß Korn in Ägypten wäre und sandte unsere Väter aus aufs erste Mal.

Und beim anderen Mal ward Joseph von seinen Brüdern erkannt und ward dem Pharao Josephs Geschlecht offenbar.

Y en la segunda, José fué conocido de sus hermanos, y fué sabido de Faraón el linaje de José.

And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

Joseph sandte aus und ließ seinen Vater Jakob und sein ganzes Geschlecht, fünfundsiebzig Seelen, zu sich rufen.

Y enviando José, hizo venir á su padre Jacob, y á toda su parentela, en número de setenta y cinco personas.

Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

Und Jakob zog hinab nach Ägypten und starb allda, er und unsere Väter.

Und sie wurden herübergebracht nach Sichem und in der Grabstätte beigesetzt, die Abraham um Geld von den Kindern Hemors zu Sichem erkauft hatte.

Los cuales fueron trasladados á Sichêm, y puestos en el sepulcro que compró Abraham á precio de dinero de los hijos de Hemor de Sichêm.

And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

and they were brought back to Shechem and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a price in silver from the children of Hamor of Shechem.

Wie nun die Zeit der Verheißung nahte, die Gott dem Abraham geschworen hatte, wuchs das Volk und mehrte sich in Ägypten.

Mas como se acercaba el tiempo de la promesa, la cual Dios había jurado á Abraham, el pueblo creció y multiplicóse en Egipto,

But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

Bis daß ein anderer König aufkam, der nichts von Joseph wußte.

Hasta que se levantó otro rey en Egipto que no conocía á José.

Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

until there arose a different king who didn’t know Joseph.

Dieser handelte arglistig gegen unser Geschlecht und tat übel an unseren Vätern, so daß man die Kindlein aussetzen mußte, und nicht am Leben lassen durfte.

Este, usando de astucia con nuestro linaje, maltrató á nuestros padres, á fin de que pusiesen á peligro de muerte sus niños, para que cesase la generación.

The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

The same took advantage of our race and mistreated our fathers, and forced them to abandon their babies, so that they wouldn’t stay alive.

Zu der Zeit ward Moses geboren und war schön vor Gott, und ward drei Monate in seines Vaters Haus ernährt.

En aquel mismo tiempo nació Moisés, y fué agradable á Dios: y fué criado tres meses en casa de su padre.

In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months:

At that time Moses was born, and was exceedingly handsome to God. He was nourished three months in his father’s house.

Als er aber ausgesetzt ward, hob ihn die Tochter Pharaos auf und ließ ihn für sich zum Sohne auferziehen.

Mas siendo puesto al peligro, la hija de Faraón le tomó, y le crió como á hijo suyo.

And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

When he was abandoned, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up and reared him as her own son.

Und Moses ward unterrichtet in aller Weisheit der Ägypter und war kräftig in Worten und Werken.

Y fué enseñado Moisés en toda la sabiduría de los egipcios; y era poderoso en sus dichos y hechos.

And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

Da er aber volle vierzig Jahre alt war, kam ihm in den Sinn, nach seinen Brüdern, den Söhnen Israels, zu sehen.

Y cuando hubo cumplido la edad de cuarenta años, le vino voluntad de visitar á sus hermanos los hijos de Israel.

And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

Und er sah, wie einer mißhandelt wurde und verteidigte ihn, und nahm Rache für den, dem Leid geschah, indem er den Ägypter erschlug.

Y como vió á uno que era injuriado, defendióle, é hiriendo al Egipcio, vengó al injuriado.

And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:

Er meinte aber, seine Brüder verstünden, daß Gott durch seine Hand ihnen Heil gäbe; aber sie verstunden es nicht.

Pero él pensaba que sus hermanos entendían que Dios les había de dar salud por su mano; mas ellos no lo habían entendido.

For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

He supposed that his brothers understood that God, by his hand, was giving them deliverance; but they didn’t understand.

Am anderen Tag traf er sie, wie sie sich stritten und trieb sie zum Frieden an und sagte: Ihr Männer seid Brüder, warum tut ihr einander Unrecht?

Y al día siguiente, riñendo ellos, se les mostró, y los ponía en paz, diciendo: Varones, hermanos sois, ¿por qué os injuriáis los unos á los otros?

And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?

“The day following, he appeared to them as they fought, and urged them to be at peace again, saying, ‘Sirs, you are brothers. Why do you wrong one another?’

Der aber dem anderen Unrecht tat, stieß ihn von sich und sagte: Wer hat dich zum Herrn und Richter über uns bestellt?

Entonces el que injuriaba á su prójimo, le rempujó, diciendo: ¿Quién te ha puesto por príncipe y juez sobre nosotros?

But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?

Willst du mich umbringen, wie du gestern den Ägypter hast umgebracht?

¿Quieres tú matarme, como mataste ayer al Egipcio?

Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?

Do you want to kill me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?’

Da floh Moses über dieser Rede und hielt sich in Midjan auf und zeugte daselbst zwei Söhne.

A esta palabra Moisés huyó, y se hizo extranjero en tierra de Madián, donde engendró dos hijos.

Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.

Und als die vierzig Jahre um waren, erschien ihm in der Wüste am Berge Sinai der Engel des Herrn in einer Feuerflamme in dem Busch.

Y cumplidos cuarenta años, un ángel le apareció en el desierto del monte Sina, en fuego de llama de una zarza.

And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

“When forty years were fulfilled, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.

Da es Moses sah, wunderte er sich über das Gesicht, und da er hinzutreten wollte, um es sich anzusehen, geschah die Stimme des Herrn zu ihm:

Entonces Moisés mirando, se maravilló de la visión: y llegándose para considerar, fué hecha á él voz del Señor:

When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,

Ich bin der Gott deiner Väter, der Gott Abrahams, und der Gott Isaaks, und der Gott Jakobs. Moses aber erzitterte und wagte nicht mehr hinzuschauen.

Yo soy el Dios de tus padres, el Dios de Abraham, y el Dios de Isaac, y el Dios de Jacob. Mas Moisés, temeroso, no osaba mirar.

Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

‘I am the God of your fathers: the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ Moses trembled and dared not look.

Der Herr aber sprach zu ihm: Ziehe deine Schuhe von den Füßen; denn die Stätte, da du stehst, ist heiliges Land.

Y le dijo el Señor: Quita los zapatos de tus pies, porque el lugar en que estás es tierra santa.

Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

The Lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you stand is holy ground.

Ich habe wohl gesehen die Mißhandlung Meines Volks in Ägypten und ihr Seufzen gehört, und bin herabgekommen, sie zu befreien, und nun komm her, Ich will dich hin nach Ägypten senden.

He visto, he visto la aflicción de mi pueblo que está en Egipto, y he oído el gemido de ellos, y he descendido para librarlos. Ahora pues, ven, te enviaré á Egipto.

I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their groaning. I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you into Egypt.’

Diesen Moses, den sie verleugnet und gesagt hatten: Wer hat dich zum Herrn und Richter gesetzt, diesen sandte Gott als Herrn und Erlöser durch die Hand des Engels, Der ihm erschien in dem Busche.

A este Moisés, al cual habían rehusado, diciendo: ¿Quién te ha puesto por príncipe y juez? á éste envió Dios por príncipe y redentor con la mano del ángel que le apareció en la zarza.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

“This Moses whom they refused, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’—God has sent him as both a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

Dieser führte sie aus und tat Wunder und Zeichen in Ägyptenland, im Roten Meer und in der Wüste vierzig Jahre lang.

Este los sacó, habiendo hecho prodigios y milagros en la tierra de Egipto, y en el mar Bermejo, y en el desierto por cuarenta años.

He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

This man led them out, having worked wonders and signs in Egypt, in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.

Dies ist der Moses, der zu den Söhnen Israels gesprochen hat: Gott, der Herr, wird euch aus euren Brüdern einen Propheten erwecken, gleich wie mich; Ihn sollt ihr hören.

Este es el Moisés, el cual dijo á los hijos de Israel: Profeta os levantará el Señor Dios vuestro de vuestros hermanos, como yo; á él oiréis.

This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.’

Dieser ist es, Der in der Gemeinde in der Wüste war mit dem Engel, Der zu ihm redete auf dem Berg Sinai, und mit unseren Vätern, Welcher empfing das lebendige Wort, um es uns mitzuteilen.

Este es aquél que estuvo en la congregación en el desierto con el ángel que le hablaba en el monte Sina, y con nuestros padres; y recibió las palabras de vida para darnos:

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel that spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received living revelations to give to us,

Dem unsere Väter nicht untertan sein wollten, sondern sich abkehrten von Ihm und mit ihren Herzen sich Ägypten zuwendeten und zu Aharon sagten:

Al cual nuestros padres no quisieron obedecer; antes le desecharon, y se apartaron de corazón á Egipto,

To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

to whom our fathers wouldn’t be obedient, but rejected him and turned back in their hearts to Egypt,

Mache uns Götter, die vor uns herziehen; denn was aus diesem Moses, der uns aus Ägyptenland führte, geworden ist, wissen wir nicht.

Diciendo á Aarón: Haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque á este Moisés, que nos sacó de tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le ha acontecido.

Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods that will go before us, for as for this Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.’

Und sie machten sich in selbigen Tagen ein Kalb und brachten dem Götzenbild Opfer, und freuten sich der Werke ihrer Hände.

And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

Gott aber wandte Sich ab und gab sie hin, daß sie dem Himmelsheere dienten, wie im Buche der Propheten geschrieben steht: Brachtet ihr Mir, ihr vom Hause Israel, in der Wüste je Schlacht- und Brandopfer die vierzig Jahre lang?

Y Dios se apartó, y los entregó que sirviesen al ejército del cielo; como está escrito en el libro de los profetas: ¿Me ofrecisteis víctimas y sacrificios en el desierto por cuarenta años, casa de Israel?

Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

But God turned away and gave them up to serve the army of the sky, as it is written in the book of the prophets, ‘Did you offer to me slain animals and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

Und ihr truget daher das Zelt Molochs und das Sternbild eures Gottes Remphan, die Gußbilder, die ihr gemacht, um sie anzubeten; Ich aber werde euch über Babylon hinaus in Gefangenschaft führen.

Antes, trajisteis el tabernáculo de Moloch, y la estrella de vuestro dios Remphan: figuras que os hicisteis para adorarlas: os transportaré pues, más allá de Babilonia.

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Das Zelt des Zeugnisses war inmitten unserer Väter in der Wüste, so wie es zu machen verordnet hatte, Der mit Moses redete, nach dem Vorbilde, das er gesehen hatte.

Tuvieron nuestros padres el tabernáculo del testimonio en el desierto, como había ordenado Dios, hablando á Moisés que lo hiciese según la forma que había visto.

Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

“Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, even as he who spoke to Moses commanded him to make it according to the pattern that he had seen;

Welches auch unsere Väter überkamen und hineinbrachten mit Joschua in das Besitztum der Heiden, die Gott vor dem Angesicht unserer Väter ausstieß, bis auf die Tage Davids.

El cual recibido, metieron también nuestros padres con Josué en la posesión de los Gentiles, que Dios echó de la presencia de nuestros padres, hasta los días de David;

Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

which also our fathers, in their turn, brought in with Joshua when they entered into the possession of the nations whom God drove out before the face of our fathers to the days of David,

Dieser fand Gnade vor Gott und erbat sich eine Zeltwohnung zu finden für den Gott Jakobs.

El cual halló gracia delante de Dios, y pidió hallar tabernáculo para el Dios de Jacob.

Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

who found favor in the sight of God, and asked to find a habitation for the God of Jacob.

Salomoh aber erbaute Ihm ein Haus.

Aber der Höchste wohnt nicht in Tempeln, von Menschenhänden gemacht, wie der Prophet spricht:

Si bien el Altísimo no habita en templos hechos de mano; como el profeta dice:

Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

However, the Most High doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says,

Der Himmel ist Mein Thron und die Erde Meiner Füße Schemel, was wollt ihr Mir für ein Haus bauen, spricht der Herr, oder welches ist die Stätte, da Ich ruhen möchte?

El cielo es mi trono, y la tierra es el estrado de mis pies. ¿Qué casa me edificaréis? dice el Señor; ¿ó cuál es el lugar de mi reposo?

Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

‘heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What kind of house will you build me?’ says the Lord. ‘Or what is the place of my rest?

Hat nicht Meine Hand alles dies gemacht?

¿No hizo mi mano todas estas cosas?

Hath not my hand made all these things?

Didn’t my hand make all these things?’

Ihr Halsstarrigen und Unbeschnittenen an Herz und Ohren, immer widerstrebt ihr dem Heiligen Geist, wie eure Väter, also auch ihr.

Duros de cerviz, é incircuncisos de corazón y de oídos, vosotros resistís siempre al Espíritu Santo: como vuestros padres, así también vosotros.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
