Saulus aber hatte Wohlgefallen an seinem Tode. Es erhub sich aber zu der Zeit eine große Verfolgung uber die Gemeinde zu Jerusalem; und sie zerstreueten sich alle in die Lander Judaa und Samarien ohne die Apostel.

Y SAULO consentía en su muerte. Y en aquel día se hizo una grande persecución en la iglesia que estaba en Jerusalem; y todos fueron esparcidos por las tierras de Judea y de Samaria, salvo los apóstoles.

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles.

Es bestatteten aber Stephanus gottesfurchtige Manner und hielten eine große Klage über ihn.

Y llevaron á enterrar á Esteban varones piadosos, é hicieron gran llanto sobre él.

And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

Devout men buried Stephen and lamented greatly over him.

Saulus aber zerstorete die Gemeinde, ging hin und her in die Hauser und zog hervor Manner und Weiber und überantwortete sie ins Gefangnis.

Entonces Saulo asolaba la iglesia, entrando por las casas: y trayendo hombres y mujeres, los entregaba en la cárcel.

As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

But Saul ravaged the assembly, entering into every house and dragged both men and women off to prison.

Die nun zerstreuet waren, gingen urn und predigten das Wort.

Mas los que fueron esparcidos, iban por todas partes anunciando la palabra.

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Philippus aber kam hinab in eine Stadt in Samarien und predigte ihnen von Christo.

Entonces Felipe, descendiendo á la ciudad de Samaria, les predicaba á Cristo.

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ.

Das Volk aber horete einmütiglich und fleißig zu, was Philippus sagte, und sahen die Zeichen, die er tat.

Y las gentes escuchaban atentamente unánimes las cosas que decía Felipe, oyendo y viendo las señales que hacía.

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

The multitudes listened with one accord to the things that were spoken by Philip when they heard and saw the signs which he did.

Denn die unsaubern Geister fuhren aus vielen Besessenen mitgroßem Geschrei; auch viel Gichtbrüchige und Lahme wurden gesund gemacht.

Porque de muchos que tenían espíritus inmundos, salían éstos dando grandes voces; y muchos paralíticos y cojos eran sanados:

For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

For unclean spirits came out of many of those who had them. They came out, crying with a loud voice. Many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed.

Und ward eine große Freude in derselbigen Stadt.

Así que había gran gozo en aquella ciudad.

And there was great joy in that city.

Es war aber ein Mann mit Namen Simon, der zuvor in derselbigen Stadt Zauberei trieb und bezauberte das samaritische Volk und gab vor, er ware etwas Großes.

Y había un hombre llamado Simón, el cual había sido antes mágico en aquella ciudad, y había engañado la gente de Samaria, diciéndose ser algún grande:

But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

But there was a certain man, Simon by name, who used to practice sorcery in the city and amazed the people of Samaria, making himself out to be some great one,

Und sie sahen alle auf ihn, beide, klein und groß, und sprachen: Der ist die Kraft Gottes, die da groß ist!

Al cual oían todos atentamente desde el más pequeño hasta el más grande, diciendo: Este es la gran virtud de Dios.

To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

to whom they all listened, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is that great power of God.”

Sie sahen aber darum auf ihn, daß er sie lange Zeit mit seiner Zauberei bezaubert hatte.

Y le estaban atentos, porque con sus artes mágicas los había embelesado mucho tiempo.

And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

They listened to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his sorceries.

Da sie aber den Predigten des Philippus glaubten von dem Reich Gottes und von dem Namen Jesu Christi, ließen sich tauten beide, Manner und Weiber.

Mas cuando creyeron á Felipe, que anunciaba el evangelio del reino de Dios y el nombre de Jesucristo, se bautizaban hombres y mujeres.

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

But when they believed Philip preaching good news concerning God’s Kingdom and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Da ward auch der Simon glaubig und ließ sich taufen und hielt sich zu Philippus. Und als er sah die Zeichen und Taten, die da geschahen, verwunderte er sich.

El mismo Simón creyó también entonces, y bautizándose, se llegó á Felipe: y viendo los milagros y grandes maravillas que se hacían, estaba atónito.

Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Simon himself also believed. Being baptized, he continued with Philip. Seeing signs and great miracles occurring, he was amazed.

Da aber die Apostel horeten zu Jerusalem, daß Samarien das Wort Gottes angenommen hatte, sandten sie zu ihnen Petrus und Johannes.

Y los apóstoles que estaban en Jerusalem, habiendo oído que Samaria había recibido la palabra de Dios, les enviaron á Pedro y á Juan:

Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

Welche, da sie hinabkamen, beteten sie über sie, daß sie den Heiligen Geist empfingen.

Los cuales venidos, oraron por ellos, para que recibiesen el Espíritu Santo;

Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

who, when they had come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit;

(Denn erwar noch auf keinen gefallen, sondern waren allein getauft auf den Namen Christi Jesu.)

(Porque aun no había descendido sobre ninguno de ellos, mas solamente eran bautizados en el nombre de Jesús.)

(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

for as yet he had fallen on none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of Christ Jesus.

Da legten sie die Hande auf sie, und sie empfingen den Heiligen Geist.

Entonces les impusieron las manos, y recibieron el Espíritu Santo.

Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Da aber Simon sah, daß der Heilige Geist gegeben ward, wenn die Apostel die Hande aufiegten, bot er ihnen Geid an

Y como vió Simón que por la imposición de las manos de los apóstoles se daba el Espíritu Santo, les ofreció dinero,

And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

Now when Simon saw that the Holy Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money,

und sprach: Gebt mir auch die Macht, daß, so ich jemand die Hande auflege, derselbige den Heiligen Geist empfange.

Diciendo: Dadme también á mí esta potestad, que á cualquiera que pusiere las manos encima, reciba el Espíritu Santo.

Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

saying, “Give me also this power, that whomever I lay my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”

Petrus aber sprach zu ihm: Daß du verdammet werdest mit deinem Gelde, daß du meinest Gottes Gabe werde durch Geld erlanget!

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Tu dinero perezca contigo, que piensas que el don de Dios se gane por dinero.

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

Du wirst weder Teil noch Anfall haben an diesem Wort; denn dein Herz ist nicht rechtschaffen vor Gott.

No tienes tú parte ni suerte en este negocio; porque tu corazón no es recto delante de Dios.

Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart isn’t right before God.

Darum tue Buße für diese deine Bosheit und bitte Gott, ob dir vergeben werden mochte die Tücke deines Herzens.

Arrepiéntete pues de esta tu maldad, y ruega á Dios, si quizás te será perdonado el pensamiento de tu corazón.

Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

Repent therefore of this, your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

Denn ich sehe, daß du bist voll bitterer Galle und verknüpft mit Ungerechtigkeit.

Porque en hiel de amargura y en prisión de maldad veo que estás.

For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

For I see that you are in the poison of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.”

Da antwortete Simon und sprach: Bittet ihr den Herm für mich, daß der keines über mich komme, davon ihr gesagt habt!

Respondiendo entonces Simón, dijo: Rogad vosotros por mí al Señor, que ninguna cosa de estas que habéis dicho, venga sobre mí.

Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

Simon answered, “Pray for me to the Lord, that none of the things which you have spoken happen to me.”

Sie aber, da sie bezeuget und geredet hatten das Wort des Herrn, wandten sie wieder um gen Jerusalem und predigten das Evangelium vielen samaritischen Flecken.

Y ellos, habiendo testificado y hablado la palabra de Dios, se volvieron á Jerusalem, y en muchas tierras de los Samaritanos anunciaron el evangelio.

And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the Good News to many villages of the Samaritans.

Aber der Engel des Herrn redete zu Philippus und sprach: Stehe auf und gehe gegen Mittag auf die Stralie, die von Jerusalem hinabgehet gen Gaza, die da wuste ist.

Empero el ángel del Señor habló á Felipe, diciendo: Levántate y ve hacia el mediodía, al camino que desciende de Jerusalem á Gaza, el cual es desierto.

And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

Then an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise, and go toward the south to the way that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a desert.”

Und er stund auf und ging hin. Und siehe, ein Mann aus Mohrenland, ein Kammerer und Gewaltiger der Konigin Kandaze in Mohrenland, welcherwar uber ihre ganze Schatzkammer, der war kommen gen Jerusalem, anzubeten,

Entonces él se levantó, y fué: y he aquí un Etiope, eunuco, gobernador de Candace, reina de los Etiopes, el cual era puesto sobre todos sus tesoros, y había venido á adorar á Jerusalem,

And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

He arose and went; and behold, there was a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship.

und zog wieder heim und sali auf seinem Wagen und las den Propheten Jesaja.

Se volvía sentado en su carro, y leyendo el profeta Isaías.

Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

He was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah.

Der Geist aber sprach zu Philippus: Gehe hinzu und halte dich zu diesem Wagen.

Y el Espíritu dijo á Felipe: Llégate, y júntate á este carro.

Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

The Spirit said to Philip, “Go near, and join yourself to this chariot.”

Da lief Philippus hinzu und horete, daß er den Propheten Jesaja las, und sprach: Verstehest du auch, was du liesest?

Y acudiendo Felipe, le oyó que leía el profeta Isaías, y dijo: Mas ¿entiendes lo que lees?

And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

Er aber sprach: Wie kann ich, so mich nicht jemand anleitet? Und ermahnete Philippus, daß er auftrate und setzte sich zu ihm.

Y él dijo: ¿Y cómo podré, si alguno no me enseñare? Y rogó á Felipe que subiese, y se sentase con él.

And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

He said, “How can I, unless someone explains it to me?” He begged Philip to come up and sit with him.

Der Inhalt aber der Schrift, die er las, war dieser: Er ist wie ein Schaf, zur Schlachtung gefuhret, und still wie ein Lamm vor seinem Scherer; also hat er nicht aufgetan seinen Mund.

Y el lugar de la Escritura que leía, era éste: Como oveja á la muerte fué llevado; y como cordero mudo delante del que le trasquila, así no abrió su boca:

The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, “He was led as a sheep to the slaughter. As a lamb before his shearer is silent, so he doesn’t open his mouth.

In seiner Niedrigkeit ist sein Gericht aufgehoben; wer wird aber seines Lebens Lange ausreden? Denn sein Leben ist von der Erde weggenommen.

En su humillación su juicio fué quitado: mas su generación, ¿quién la contará? porque es quitada de la tierra su vida.

In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth.”

Da antwortete der Kammerer Philippus und sprach: Ich bitte dich, von wem redet der Prophet solches, von ihm selber Oder von jemand anders?

Y respondiendo el eunuco á Felipe, dijo: Ruégote ¿de quién el profeta dice esto? ¿de sí, ó de otro alguno?

And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

The eunuch answered Philip, “Who is the prophet talking about? About himself, or about someone else?”

Philippus aber tat seinen Mund auf und fing von dieser Schrift an und predigte ihm das Evangelium von Jesu.

Entonces Felipe, abriendo su boca, y comenzando desde esta escritura, le anunció el evangelio de Jesús.

Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached to him about Jesus.

Und als sie zogen der Stralie nach, kamen sie an ein Wasser. Und der Kammerer sprach: Siehe, da ist Wasser; was hindert's, daß ich mich taufen lasse?

Y yendo por el camino, llegaron á cierta agua; y dijo el eunuco: He aquí agua; ¿qué impide que yo sea bautizado?

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

As they went on the way, they came to some water; and the eunuch said, “Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?”

Philippus aber sprach: Glaubest du von ganzem Herzen, so mag's wohl sein. Er antwortete und sprach: Ich glaube, daß Jesus Christus Gottes Sohn ist.

Y Felipe dijo: Si crees de todo corazón, bien puedes. Y respondiendo, dijo: Creo que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios.

And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Und er hieft den Wagen halten, und stiegen hinab in das Wasser, beide, Philippus und der Kammerer; und er taufete ihn.

Y mandó parar el carro: y descendieron ambos al agua, Felipe y el eunuco; y bautizóle.

And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Da sie aber heraufstiegen aus dem Wasser, rückte der Geist des Herrn Philippus hinweg, und der Kammerer sah ihn nicht mehr; er zog aber seine Stralie frohlich.

Y como subieron del agua, el Espíritu del Señor arrebató á Felipe; y no le vió más el eunuco, y se fué por su camino gozoso.

And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, and the eunuch didn’t see him any more, for he went on his way rejoicing.

Philippus aber ward funden zu Asdod und wandelte umher und predigte alien Stadten das Evangelium, bis daß er kam gen Caseraa.

Felipe empero se halló en Azoto: y pasando, anunciaba el evangelio en todas las ciudades, hasta que llegó á Cesarea.

But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Cæsarea.

But Philip was found at Azotus. Passing through, he preached the Good News to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.
