2y solicitó cartas de autorización para ir a las sinagogas de Damasco, y para tener permiso de arrestar a todos los creyentes que encontrara en El Camino, hombres o mujeres, y traerlos de regreso a Jerusalén como prisioneros.

2Y demandó de él letras para Damasco á las sinagogas, para que si hallase algunos hombres ó mujeres de esta secta, los trajese presos á Jerusalem.

2And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
