Cependant Saul, respirant encore la menace et le meurtre contre les disciples du Seigneur, alla trouver le grand prêtre

Y SAULO, respirando aún amenazas y muerte contra los discípulos del Señor, vino al príncipe de los sacerdotes,

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

et lui demanda des lettres pour Damas, à l`adresse des synagogues, afin que s`il trouvait des gens de la secte, hommes et femmes, il les amenât enchaînés à Jérusalem.

Y demandó de él letras para Damasco á las sinagogas, para que si hallase algunos hombres ó mujeres de esta secta, los trajese presos á Jerusalem.

And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

Or, comme il était en chemin, alors qu`il approchait de Damas, tout à coup une lumière (venant) du ciel resplendit autour de lui.

Y yendo por el camino, aconteció que llegando cerca de Damasco, súbitamente le cercó un resplandor de luz del cielo;

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

As he traveled, he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.

Il tomba à terre et entendit une voix qui lui disait : " Saul, Saul, pourquoi me persécutes-tu? "

Y cayendo en tierra, oyó una voz que le decía: Saulo, Saulo, ¿por qué me persigues?

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

Il dit : " Qui êtes-vous, Seigneur? " Et lui : " Je suis Jésus que tu persécutes.

Y él dijo: ¿Quién eres, Señor? Y él dijo: Yo soy Jesús á quien tú persigues: dura cosa te es dar coces contra el aguijón.

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

He said, “Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

Mais lève-toi et entre dans la ville, et on te dira ce que tu dois faire. "

El, temblando y temeroso, dijo: Señor, ¿qué quieres que haga? Y el Señor le dice: Levántate y entra en la ciudad, y se te dirá lo que te conviene hacer.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”

Or les hommes qui faisaient route avec lui étaient demeurés saisis de stupeur, entendant bien la voix, mais ne voyant personne.

Y los hombres que iban con Saulo, se pararon atónitos, oyendo á la verdad la voz, mas no viendo á nadie.

And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.

Saul se releva de terre et, bien que ses yeux fussent ouverts, il ne voyait rien. En le conduisant par la main, on le fit entrer à Damas.

Entonces Saulo se levantó de tierra, y abriendo los ojos, no veía á nadie: así que, llevándole por la mano, metiéronle en Damasco;

And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

Et il fut trois jours sans voir et sans prendre ni nourriture ni boisson.

Donde estuvo tres días sin ver, y no comió, ni bebió.

And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.

Or il y avait à Damas un disciple nommé Ananie, et le Seigneur lui dit dans une vision : " Ananie ! " Il dit : " Me voici, Seigneur. "

Había entonces un discípulo en Damasco llamado Ananías, al cual el Señor dijo en visión: Ananías. Y él respondió: Heme aquí, Señor.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!” He said, “Behold, it’s me, Lord.”

Et le Seigneur lui (dit) : " Lève-toi, va dans la rue qu`on appelle la Droite, et cherche dans la maison de Judas un nommé Saul de Tarse. Car le voilà qui prie,

Y el Señor le dijo: Levántate, y ve á la calle que se llama la Derecha, y busca en casa de Judas á uno llamado Saulo, de Tarso: porque he aquí, él ora;

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

The Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,

et il a vu dans une vision un homme nommé Ananie, qui entrait et lui imposait les mains afin qu`il recouvrât la vue. "

Y ha visto en visión un varón llamado Ananías, que entra y le pone la mano encima, para que reciba la vista.

And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”

Ananie répondit : " Seigneur, j`ai appris de plusieurs sur cet homme combien de mal il a fait à vos saints dans Jérusalem.

Entonces Ananías respondió: Señor, he oído á muchos acerca de este hombre, cuántos males ha hecho á tus santos en Jerusalem:

Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.

Et il a ici, de la part des grands prêtres, plein pouvoir pour enchaîner tous ceux qui invoquent votre nom. "

Y aun aquí tiene facultad de los príncipes de los sacerdotes de prender á todos los que invocan tu nombre.

And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

Mais le Seigneur lui dit : " Va, car cet homme est un instrument que j`ai choisi pour porter mon nom devant les nations, les rois et les enfants d`Israël;

Y le dijo el Señor: Ve: porque instrumento escogido me es éste, para que lleve mi nombre en presencia de los Gentiles, y de reyes, y de los hijos de Israel:

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

je lui montrerai en effet tout ce qu`il doit souffrir pour mon nom. "

Porque yo le mostraré cuánto le sea menester que padezca por mi nombre.

For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

Ananie s`en alla, entra dans la maison, lui imposa les mains et dit : " Saul, mon frère, le Seigneur Jésus qui t`est apparu sur le chemin par lequel tu venais, m`a envoyé pour que tu recouvres la vue et que tu sois rempli de l`Esprit-Saint. "

Ananías entonces fué, y entró en la casa, y poniéndole las manos encima, dijo: Saulo hermano, el Señor Jesús, que te apareció en el camino por donde venías, me ha enviado para que recibas la vista y seas lleno de Espíritu Santo.

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Ananias departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Et aussitôt il lui tomba des yeux comme des écailles, et il recouvra la vue. Il se leva et fut baptisé;

Y luego le cayeron de los ojos como escamas, y recibió al punto la vista: y levantándose, fué bautizado.

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.

et après qu`il eut pris de la nourriture, il reprit force. Il passa quelques jours avec les disciples qui étaient à Damas;

Y como comió, fué confortado. Y estuvo Saulo por algunos días con los discípulos que estaban en Damasco.

And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

He took food and was strengthened. Saul stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.

et aussitôt il prêchait dans les synagogues que Jésus est le Fils de Dieu.

Y luego en las sinagogas predicaba á Cristo, diciendo que éste era el Hijo de Dios.

And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that he is the Son of God.

Tous ceux qui (l`)entendaient étaient stupéfaits et disaient : " N`est-ce pas lui qui pourchassait à Jérusalem ceux qui invoquent ce nom, et n`est-il pas venu ici pour les conduire enchaînés aux grands prêtres? "

Y todos los que le oían estaban atónitos, y decían: ¿No es éste el que asolaba en Jerusalem á los que invocaban este nombre, y á eso vino acá, para llevarlos presos á los príncipes de los sacerdotes?

But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

All who heard him were amazed, and said, “Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

Cependant Saul se fortifiait de plus en plus (dans la foi) et il confondait les Juifs qui habitaient à Damas, (leur) démontrant que (Jésus) était le Christ.

Empero Saulo mucho más se esforzaba, y confundía á los Judíos que moraban en Damasco, afirmando que éste es el Cristo.

But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

Après un temps assez considérable, les Juifs se concertèrent pour le tuer,

Y como pasaron muchos días, los Judíos hicieron entre sí consejo de matarle;

And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

When many days were fulfilled, the Jews conspired together to kill him,

mais leur complot parvint à la connaissance de Saul. Ils gardaient aussi les portes jour et nuit, afin de la

Mas las asechanzas de ellos fueron entendidas de Saulo. Y ellos guardaban las puertas de día y de noche para matarle.

But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

but their plot became known to Saul. They watched the gates both day and night that they might kill him,

Mais ses disciples le prirent de nuit et le firent descendre par la muraille dans une corbeille.

Entonces los discípulos, tomándole de noche, le bajaron por el muro en una espuerta.

Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

Or, arrivé à Jérusalem, il cherchait à se joindre aux disciples, et tous le redoutaient, ne croyant pas qu`il fût un disciple.

Y como vino á Jerusalem, tentaba de juntarse con los discípulos; mas todos tenían miedo de él, no creyendo que era discípulo.

And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

Mais Barnabé, l`ayant pris, le mena aux apôtres et leur raconta comment sur le chemin (Saul) avait vu le Seigneur et qu`il lui avait parlé, et comment, à Damas, il avait parlé avec assurance au nom de Jésus.

Entonces Bernabé, tomándole, lo trajo á los apóstoles, y contóles cómo había visto al Señor en el camino, y que le había hablado, y cómo en Damasco había hablado confiadamente en el nombre de Jesús.

But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

Et (Saul) était avec eux, allant et venant dans Jérusalem, et il parlait avec assurance au nom du Seigneur.

Y entraba y salía con ellos en Jerusalem;

And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

Il s`adressait aussi aux Hellénistes, disputant avec (eux); mais ceux-ci cherchaient à le mettre à mort.

Y hablaba confiadamente en el nombre del Señor: y disputaba con los Griegos; mas ellos procuraban matarle.

And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

preaching boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus. He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him.

Les frères, l`ayant appris, l`emmenèrent à Césarée et le firent partir pour Tarse.

Lo cual, como los hermanos entendieron, le acompañaron hasta Cesarea, y le enviaron á Tarso.

Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

When the brothers knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

L`Eglise était en paix par toute la Judée, la Galilée et la Samarie, s`édifiant et marchant dans la crainte du Seigneur, et elle croissait par l`assistance du Saint-Esprit.

Las iglesias entonces tenían paz por toda Judea y Galilea y Samaria, y eran edificadas, andando en el temor del Señor; y con consuelo del Espíritu Santo eran multiplicadas.

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Or il arriva que Pierre, passant chez tous les saints, descendit aussi vers ceux qui habitaient Lydda.

Y aconteció que Pedro, andándolos á todos, vino también á los santos que habitaban en Lydda.

And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

As Peter went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.

Il y trouva un homme nommé Enée, couché sur un grabat depuis huit ans, qui était paralytique.

Y halló allí á uno que se llamaba Eneas, que hacía ocho años que estaba en cama, que era paralítico.

And there he found a certain man named Æneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years because he was paralyzed.

Pierre lui dit : " Enée, Jésus-Christ te guérit; lève-toi, et arrange pour toi (ton lit). " Et aussitôt il se leva.

Y le dijo Pedro: Eneas, Jesucristo te sana; levántate, y hazte tu cama. Y luego se levantó.

And Peter said unto him, Æneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed!” Immediately he arose.

Tous les habitants de Lydda et du Saron le virent, et ils se convertirent au Seigneur.

Y viéronle todos los que habitaban en Lydda y en Sarona, los cuales se convirtieron al Señor.

And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

All who lived at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.

Il y avait à Joppé, une croyante nommée Tabitha, ce qui, traduit, se dit Dorcas; elle était riche en bonnes œuvres et faisait beaucoup d`aumônes.

Entonces en Joppe había una discípula llamada Tabita, que si lo declaras, quiere decir Dorcas. Esta era llena de buenas obras y de limosnas que hacía.

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which when translated means Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.

Or il advint en ces jours-là qu`elle tomba malade et mourut. Après l`avoir lavée, on la déposa dans une chambre haute.

Y aconteció en aquellos días que enfermando, murió; á la cual, después de lavada, pusieron en una sala.

And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

In those days, she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.

Comme Lydda est près de Joppé, les disciples, ayant appris que Pierre y était, envoyèrent deux hommes vers lui pour lui faire cette prière : " Ne tarde pas à venir jusqu`à nous. "

Y como Lydda estaba cerca de Joppe, los discípulos, oyendo que Pedro estaba allí, le enviaron dos hombres, rogándole: No te detengas en venir hasta nosotros.

And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

Pierre se leva et partit avec eux. Quand il fut arrivé, on le fit monter dans la chambre haute, et toutes les veuves se présentèrent à lui, pleurant et lui montrant des tuniques et des vêtements que faisait Dorcas lorsqu`elle était avec elles.

Pedro entonces levantándose, fué con ellos: y llegado que hubo, le llevaron á la sala, donde le rodearon todas las viudas, llorando y mostrando las túnicas y los vestidos que Dorcas hacía cuando estaba con ellas.

Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the tunics and other garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.

Pierre fit sortir tout le monde, se mit à genoux et pria; puis, se tournant vers le corps, il dit : " Tabitha, lève-toi ! " elle ouvrit les yeux et, voyant Pierre, elle se mit sur son séant.

Entonces echados fuera todos, Pedro puesto de rodillas, oró; y vuelto al cuerpo, dijo: Tabita, levántate. Y ella abrió los ojos, y viendo á Pedro, incorporóse.

But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Il lui donna la main et la fit mettre debout. Et ayant appelé les saints et les veuves, il la leur présenta

Y él le dió la mano, y levantóla: entonces llamando á los santos y las viudas, la presentó viva.

And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

He gave her his hand and raised her up. Calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

Ce qui fut connu par tout Joppé, et beaucoup crurent au Seigneur.

Esto fué notorio por toda Joppe; y creyeron muchos en el Señor.

And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.

This became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

Et il arriva que (Pierre) resta assez longtemps à Joppé chez un certain Simon, corroyeur.

Y aconteció que se quedó muchos días en Joppe en casa de un cierto Simón, curtidor.

And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.

He stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.
