Saulus aber, noch Drohung und Mord gegen die Jünger des Herrn schnaubend, ging zu dem Hohenpriester

Y SAULO, respirando aún amenazas y muerte contra los discípulos del Señor, vino al príncipe de los sacerdotes,

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

und erbat sich von ihm Briefe nach Damaskus an die Synagogen, damit, wenn er einige, die auf dem Weg wären, fände, sowohl Männer als Frauen, er sie gebunden nach Jerusalem führe.

Y demandó de él letras para Damasco á las sinagogas, para que si hallase algunos hombres ó mujeres de esta secta, los trajese presos á Jerusalem.

And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

Als er aber hinzog, geschah es, dass er Damaskus nahte. Und plötzlich umstrahlte ihn ein Licht aus dem Himmel;

Y yendo por el camino, aconteció que llegando cerca de Damasco, súbitamente le cercó un resplandor de luz del cielo;

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

As he traveled, he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.

und auf die Erde fallend, hörte er eine Stimme, die zu ihm sprach: Saul, Saul, was verfolgst du mich?

Y cayendo en tierra, oyó una voz que le decía: Saulo, Saulo, ¿por qué me persigues?

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

Er aber sprach: Wer bist du, Herr? Er aber sprach: Ich bin Jesus, den du verfolgst.

Y él dijo: ¿Quién eres, Señor? Y él dijo: Yo soy Jesús á quien tú persigues: dura cosa te es dar coces contra el aguijón.

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

He said, “Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

Steh aber auf und geh in die Stadt, und es wird dir gesagt werden, was du tun sollst.

El, temblando y temeroso, dijo: Señor, ¿qué quieres que haga? Y el Señor le dice: Levántate y entra en la ciudad, y se te dirá lo que te conviene hacer.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”

Die Männer aber, die mit ihm reisten, standen sprachlos, da sie wohl die Stimme hörten, aber niemand sahen.

Y los hombres que iban con Saulo, se pararon atónitos, oyendo á la verdad la voz, mas no viendo á nadie.

And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.

Saulus aber richtete sich von der Erde auf. Als aber seine Augen aufgetan waren, sah er niemand. Und sie leiteten ihn bei der Hand und führten ihn nach Damaskus.

Entonces Saulo se levantó de tierra, y abriendo los ojos, no veía á nadie: así que, llevándole por la mano, metiéronle en Damasco;

And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

Und er war drei Tage nicht sehend und aß nicht und trank nicht.

Donde estuvo tres días sin ver, y no comió, ni bebió.

And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

Es war aber ein gewisser Jünger in Damaskus, mit Namen Ananias; und der Herr sprach zu ihm in einem Gesicht: Ananias! Er aber sprach: Siehe, hier bin ich, Herr!

Había entonces un discípulo en Damasco llamado Ananías, al cual el Señor dijo en visión: Ananías. Y él respondió: Heme aquí, Señor.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!” He said, “Behold, it’s me, Lord.”

Der Herr aber sprach zu ihm: Steh auf und geh in die Straße, die die gerade genannt wird, und frage im Haus des Judas nach einem, mit Namen Saulus, von Tarsus, denn siehe, er betet;

Y el Señor le dijo: Levántate, y ve á la calle que se llama la Derecha, y busca en casa de Judas á uno llamado Saulo, de Tarso: porque he aquí, él ora;

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

The Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,

und er hat †im Gesicht einen Mann, mit Namen Ananias, gesehen, der hereinkam und ihm die Hände auflegte, damit er wieder sehend werde.

Y ha visto en visión un varón llamado Ananías, que entra y le pone la mano encima, para que reciba la vista.

And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”

Ananias aber antwortete: Herr, ich habe von vielen von diesem Mann gehört, wie viel Böses er deinen Heiligen in Jerusalem getan hat.

Entonces Ananías respondió: Señor, he oído á muchos acerca de este hombre, cuántos males ha hecho á tus santos en Jerusalem:

Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.

Und hier hat er Gewalt von den Hohenpriestern, alle zu binden, die deinen Namen anrufen.

Y aun aquí tiene facultad de los príncipes de los sacerdotes de prender á todos los que invocan tu nombre.

And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

Der Herr aber sprach zu ihm: Geh hin; denn dieser ist mir ein auserwähltes Gefäß, meinen Namen zu tragen sowohl vor Nationen als Könige und Söhne Israels.

Y le dijo el Señor: Ve: porque instrumento escogido me es éste, para que lleve mi nombre en presencia de los Gentiles, y de reyes, y de los hijos de Israel:

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

Denn ich werde ihm zeigen, wie vieles er für meinen Namen leiden muss.

Porque yo le mostraré cuánto le sea menester que padezca por mi nombre.

For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

Ananias aber ging hin und kam in das Haus; und ihm die Hände auflegend, sprach er: Bruder Saul, der Herr hat mich gesandt, Jesus, der dir erschienen ist auf dem Weg, den du kamst, damit du wieder sehend und mit Heiligem Geist erfüllt wirst.

Ananías entonces fué, y entró en la casa, y poniéndole las manos encima, dijo: Saulo hermano, el Señor Jesús, que te apareció en el camino por donde venías, me ha enviado para que recibas la vista y seas lleno de Espíritu Santo.

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Ananias departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Und sogleich fiel es wie Schuppen von seinen Augen, und er wurde sehend und stand auf und wurde getauft.

Y luego le cayeron de los ojos como escamas, y recibió al punto la vista: y levantándose, fué bautizado.

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.

Und nachdem er Speise genommen hatte, wurde er gestärkt. Er war aber einige Tage bei den Jüngern, die in Damaskus waren.

Y como comió, fué confortado. Y estuvo Saulo por algunos días con los discípulos que estaban en Damasco.

And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

He took food and was strengthened. Saul stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.

Und sogleich predigte er in den Synagogen Jesus, dass dieser der Sohn Gottes ist.

Y luego en las sinagogas predicaba á Cristo, diciendo que éste era el Hijo de Dios.

And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that he is the Son of God.

Alle aber, die es hörten, gerieten außer sich und sagten: Ist dieser nicht der, der in Jerusalem die zerstörte, die diesen Namen anrufen, und dazu hierhergekommen war, damit er sie gebunden zu den Hohenpriestern führe?

Y todos los que le oían estaban atónitos, y decían: ¿No es éste el que asolaba en Jerusalem á los que invocaban este nombre, y á eso vino acá, para llevarlos presos á los príncipes de los sacerdotes?

But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

All who heard him were amazed, and said, “Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

Saulus aber erstarkte um so mehr und brachte die Juden, die in Damaskus wohnten, in Verwirrung, indem er bewies, dass dieser der Christus ist.

Empero Saulo mucho más se esforzaba, y confundía á los Judíos que moraban en Damasco, afirmando que éste es el Cristo.

But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

Als aber viele Tage verflossen waren, ratschlagten die Juden miteinander, ihn umzubringen.

Y como pasaron muchos días, los Judíos hicieron entre sí consejo de matarle;

And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

When many days were fulfilled, the Jews conspired together to kill him,

Es wurde aber dem Saulus ihr Anschlag bekannt. Und sie bewachten auch die Tore sowohl bei Tage als bei Nacht, damit sie ihn umbrächten.

Mas las asechanzas de ellos fueron entendidas de Saulo. Y ellos guardaban las puertas de día y de noche para matarle.

But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

but their plot became known to Saul. They watched the gates both day and night that they might kill him,

Die Jünger aber nahmen ihn bei der Nacht und ließen ihn durch die Mauer hinab, indem sie ihn in einem Korb hinunterließen.

Entonces los discípulos, tomándole de noche, le bajaron por el muro en una espuerta.

Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

Als er aber nach Jerusalem gekommen war, versuchte er, sich den Jüngern anzuschließen; und alle fürchteten sich vor ihm, da sie nicht glaubten, dass er ein Jünger sei.

Y como vino á Jerusalem, tentaba de juntarse con los discípulos; mas todos tenían miedo de él, no creyendo que era discípulo.

And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

Barnabas aber nahm ihn und brachte ihn zu den Aposteln und erzählte ihnen, wie er auf dem Weg den Herrn gesehen habe, und dass derselbe zu ihm geredet, und wie er in Damaskus freimütig im Namen Jesu gesprochen habe.

Entonces Bernabé, tomándole, lo trajo á los apóstoles, y contóles cómo había visto al Señor en el camino, y que le había hablado, y cómo en Damasco había hablado confiadamente en el nombre de Jesús.

But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

Und er ging mit ihnen aus und ein in Jerusalem †und sprach freimütig im Namen des Herrn.

And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

preaching boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus. He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him.

Als die Brüder es aber erfuhren, brachten sie ihn nach Cäsarea hinab und sandten ihn weg nach Tarsus.

Lo cual, como los hermanos entendieron, le acompañaron hasta Cesarea, y le enviaron á Tarso.

Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

When the brothers knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

So hatten denn die Versammlungen durch ganz Judäa und Galiläa und Samaria hin Frieden und wurden erbaut und wandelten in der Furcht des Herrn und wurden vermehrt durch den Trost des Heiligen Geistes.

Las iglesias entonces tenían paz por toda Judea y Galilea y Samaria, y eran edificadas, andando en el temor del Señor; y con consuelo del Espíritu Santo eran multiplicadas.

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Es geschah aber, dass Petrus, indem er allenthalben hindurchzog, auch zu den Heiligen hinabkam, die zu Lydda wohnten.

Y aconteció que Pedro, andándolos á todos, vino también á los santos que habitaban en Lydda.

And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

As Peter went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.

Er fand aber dort einen gewissen Menschen, mit Namen Äneas, der seit 8 Jahren zu Bett lag, der gelähmt war.

Y halló allí á uno que se llamaba Eneas, que hacía ocho años que estaba en cama, que era paralítico.

And there he found a certain man named Æneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years because he was paralyzed.

Und Petrus sprach zu ihm: Äneas! Jesus, der Christus, heilt dich; steh auf und bette dir selbst! Und sogleich stand er auf.

Y le dijo Pedro: Eneas, Jesucristo te sana; levántate, y hazte tu cama. Y luego se levantó.

And Peter said unto him, Æneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed!” Immediately he arose.

Und es sahen ihn alle, die zu Lydda und Saron wohnten, die sich zum Herrn bekehrten.

Y viéronle todos los que habitaban en Lydda y en Sarona, los cuales se convirtieron al Señor.

And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

All who lived at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.

In Joppe aber war eine gewisse Jüngerin, mit Namen Tabitha, was übersetzt heißt: Dorkas; diese war voll guter Werke und Almosen, die sie übte.

Entonces en Joppe había una discípula llamada Tabita, que si lo declaras, quiere decir Dorcas. Esta era llena de buenas obras y de limosnas que hacía.

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which when translated means Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.

Es geschah aber in jenen Tagen, dass sie krank wurde und starb. Und als sie sie gewaschen hatten, legten sie sie auf den Obersaal.

Y aconteció en aquellos días que enfermando, murió; á la cual, después de lavada, pusieron en una sala.

And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

In those days, she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.

Da aber Lydda nahe bei Joppe war, sandten die Jünger, als sie gehört hatten, dass Petrus dort sei, zwei Männer zu ihm und baten: Zögere nicht, zu uns zu kommen.

Y como Lydda estaba cerca de Joppe, los discípulos, oyendo que Pedro estaba allí, le enviaron dos hombres, rogándole: No te detengas en venir hasta nosotros.

And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

Petrus aber stand auf und ging mit ihnen; und als er angekommen war, führten sie ihn auf den Obersaal. Und alle Witwen traten weinend zu ihm und zeigten ihm die Leibröcke und Kleider, die Dorkas gemacht hatte, während sie bei ihnen war.

Pedro entonces levantándose, fué con ellos: y llegado que hubo, le llevaron á la sala, donde le rodearon todas las viudas, llorando y mostrando las túnicas y los vestidos que Dorcas hacía cuando estaba con ellas.

Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the tunics and other garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.

Petrus aber trieb alle hinaus, kniete nieder und betete. Und er wandte sich zu dem Leichnam und sprach: Tabitha, steh auf! Sie aber schlug ihre Augen auf, und als sie den Petrus sah, setzte sie sich auf.

Entonces echados fuera todos, Pedro puesto de rodillas, oró; y vuelto al cuerpo, dijo: Tabita, levántate. Y ella abrió los ojos, y viendo á Pedro, incorporóse.

But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Er aber gab ihr die Hand und richtete sie auf; er rief aber die Heiligen und die Witwen und stellte sie lebend dar.

Y él le dió la mano, y levantóla: entonces llamando á los santos y las viudas, la presentó viva.

And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

Es wurde aber durch ganz Joppe hin kund, und viele glaubten an den Herrn.

Esto fué notorio por toda Joppe; y creyeron muchos en el Señor.

And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.

Es geschah aber, dass er viele Tage in Joppe blieb, bei einem gewissen Simon, einem Gerber.

Y aconteció que se quedó muchos días en Joppe en casa de un cierto Simón, curtidor.

And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.

He stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.
