Esto dice el Señor: Después de tres, cuatro y más maldades de Edom, ya no la convertiré, o perdonaré; porque ha perseguido espada en mano a su hermano Israel, y le ha negado la compasión que le debía tener, conservando contra él hasta el fin su odio reconcentrado y su indignación.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
