1Las palabras de Amos, que estaba entre los pastores de Tecoa; lo que vio de Israel en los días de Uzías, rey de Judá, y en los días de Jeroboam, hijo de Joás, rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.
2Y él dijo: El Señor dará un rugido de león desde Sión, su voz sonará desde Jerusalén; y los campos de los criadores de ovejas estarán de duelo, y la parte superior del Carmelo se secará.
3Estas son las palabras del Señor: por tres crímenes de Damasco, y por cuatro, no dejaré que cambie su destino; porque trillaron a Galaad con instrumentos de trituración de hierro.
4Y enviaré fuego a la casa de Hazael, quemando las grandes casas de Ben Hadad.
5Y tendré las cerraduras de la puerta de Damasco rotas, y al que está sentado en el poder lo exterminare del valle de Avén, y aquel en cuya mano está gobierno de la casa del Edén; y la gente de Siria se irá como prisioneros a Kir, dice el Señor.
6Estas son las palabras del Señor: por tres crímenes de Gaza, y por cuatro, no dejaré que cambie su destino; porque se llevaron a toda la gente prisioneros, para entregarlos a Edom.
7Y enviaré un incendio al muro de Gaza, quemando sus palacios.
8Al que está sentado en el poder, lo habré cortado de Asdod, y aquel que gobierna en Ascalon; y mi mano se volverá contra Ecrón, y el resto de los filisteos vendrán a la destrucción, dice el Señor Dios.
9Estas son las palabras del Señor: por tres crímenes de Tiro, y por cuatro, no dejaré que cambie su destino; porque entregaron a todos los prisioneros a Edom, sin pensar en el acuerdo de los hermanos entre ellos.
10Y enviaré fuego sobre el muro de Tiro, quemando sus palacios.
11Estas son las palabras del Señor: por tres crímenes de Edom, y por cuatro, no dejaré que cambie su destino; porque su espada se volvió contra su hermano, sin piedad, y su ira ardía en todo momento, y estaba enojado para siempre.
12Y enviaré fuego a Teman, quemando los palacios de Bosra.
13Estas son las palabras del Señor: por tres crímenes de los hijos de Amón, y por cuatro, no revocara su castigo; porque en Galaad abrían los vientres de las mujeres embarazadas, con el fin de ampliar los límites de sus tierras.
14Y haré un fuego en el muro de Rabá, quemando sus palacios, en medio de gritos en el día de la batalla, en medio de una tempestad, en el día de la tormenta .
15Y su rey será hecho prisionero, él y sus capitanes juntos, dice el Señor.

1LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.
2Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.
3Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.
4Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Benhadad.
5Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.
6Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.
7Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.
8Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.
9Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.
10Y meteré fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.
11Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.
12Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.
13Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.
14Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:
15Y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y sus príncipes todos, dice Jehová.

1The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.
3Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:
4But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.
5I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.
6Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:
7But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:
8And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
9Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:
10But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.
11Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
12But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
13Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:
14But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
15And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.

12but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah.”
13The LORD says: “For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.
14But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it will devour its palaces, with shouting in the day of battle, with a storm in the day of the whirlwind;
15and their king will go into captivity, he and his princes together,” says the LORD.
