Amós 1

Dies ist's, das Amos, der unter den Hirten zu Thekoa war, gesehen hat über Israel zur Zeit Usias, des Konigs Judas, und Jerobeams, des Sohns Joas, des Konigs Israels, zwei Jahre vor dem Erdbeben.

LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.

The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Und sprach: Der HERR wird aus Zion brullen und seine Stimme aus Jerusalem horen lassen, daß die Auen der Hirten jammerlich stehen werden und der Karmel oben verdorren wird.

Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Laster willen Damaskus will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie Gilead mit eisernen Zacken gedroschen haben,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron;

sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken in das Haus Hasaels, das soil die Palaste Benhadads verzehren.

Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Benhadad.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

Und ich will die Riegel zu Damaskus zerbrechen und die Einwohner auf dem Felde Aven samt dem, der das Zepter halt, aus dem Lusthause ausrotten, daß das Volk in Syrien soil gen Kirweggefuhret werden, spricht der HERR.

Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Laster willen Gasas will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gefangenen weiter gefangen und ins Land Edom vertrieben haben,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Gaza, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they carried away captive the whole community, to deliver them up to Edom;

sondern ich will ein Feuer in die Mauern zu Gasa schicken, das soil ihre Palaste verzehren.

Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

Und will die Einwohner zu Asdod samt dem, der, das Zepter halt, aus Askalon ausrotten und meine Hand wider Akron kehren, daß umkommen soil, was von den Philistern noch übrig ist, spricht der Herr HERR.

Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Laster willen der Stadt Zor will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gefangenen weiter ins Land Edom vertrieben haben und nicht gedacht an den Bund der Brüder,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and didn’t remember the brotherly covenant;

sondern ich will ein Feuer in die Mauern zu Zor schicken, das soil ihre Palaste verzehren.

Y meteré fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.

but I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre, and it will devour its palaces.”

So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Laster willen Edoms will ich sein nicht schonen, darum daß er seinen Bruder mit dem Schwert verfolget hat, und daß er ihre Schwangeren umgebracht und immer zerrissen in seinem Zorn und seinen Grimm ewig halt,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger raged continually, and he kept his wrath forever;

sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken gen Theman, das soil die Palaste zu Bazra verzehren.

Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah.”

So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Laster willen der Kinder Ammon will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Schwangeren in Gilead zerrissen haben, damit sie ihre Grenze weiter machten,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.

sondern ich will ein Feuer anzunden in den Mauern Rabbas, das soil ihre Palaste verzehren, wenn man rufen wird zur Zeit des Streits, und wenn das Wetter kommen wird zur Zeit des Sturms.

Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

Da wird dann ihr Konig samt seinen Fursten gefangen weggefuhret werden, spricht der HERR.

Y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y sus príncipes todos, dice Jehová.
