Amós 1

Worte des Amos, der unter den Hirten von Tekoa war, die er über Israel geschaut hat in den Tagen Ussijas, des Königs von Juda, und in den Tagen Jerobeams, des Sohnes Joas, des Königs von Israel, zwei Jahre vor dem Erdbeben.

LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.

The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Und er sprach: Der HERR wird aus Zion brüllen und aus Jerusalem seine Stimme erschallen lassen, und die Auen der Hirten werden trauern, und der Gipfel des Karmel wird verdorren.

Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei Freveltaten von Damaskus und wegen vier werde ich es nicht rückgängig machen: Weil sie Gilead mit eisernen Dreschschlitten gedroschen haben,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron;

so werde ich ein Feuer senden in das Haus Hasaels, und es wird die Paläste Ben-Hadads verzehren;

Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Benhadad.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

und ich werde den Riegel von Damaskus zerbrechen, und den Bewohner ausrotten aus dem Tal Awen, und den, der das Zepter hält, aus Beth-Eden; und das Volk von Syrien wird nach Kir weggeführt werden, spricht der HERR.

Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei Freveltaten von Gaza und wegen vier werde ich es nicht rückgängig machen: Weil sie Gefangene in voller Zahl weggeführt haben, um sie an Edom auszuliefern,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Gaza, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they carried away captive the whole community, to deliver them up to Edom;

so werde ich ein Feuer senden in die Mauer von Gaza, und es wird seine Paläste verzehren;

Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

und ich werde den Bewohner ausrotten aus Asdod, und den, der das Zepter hält, aus Askalon; und ich werde meine Hand wenden gegen Ekron, und der Überrest der Philister wird untergehen, spricht der Herr, HERR.

Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei Freveltaten von Tyrus und wegen vier werde ich es nicht rückgängig machen: Weil sie Gefangene in voller Zahl an Edom ausgeliefert und des Bruderbundes nicht gedacht haben,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and didn’t remember the brotherly covenant;

so werde ich ein Feuer senden in die Mauer von Tyrus, und es wird seine Paläste verzehren.

Y meteré fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei Freveltaten von Edom und wegen vier werde ich es nicht rückgängig machen: Weil es seinen Bruder mit dem Schwert verfolgt und sein Erbarmen erstickt hat und weil sein Zorn beständig zerfleischt und es seinen Grimm immer bewahrt,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger raged continually, and he kept his wrath forever;

so werde ich ein Feuer senden nach Teman, und es wird die Paläste von Bozra verzehren.

Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah.”

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei Freveltaten der Kinder Ammon und wegen vier werde ich es nicht rückgängig machen: Weil sie die Schwangeren von Gilead aufgeschlitzt haben, um ihre Grenze zu erweitern,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.

so werde ich ein Feuer anzünden in der Mauer von Rabba, und es wird seine Paläste verzehren unter Kriegsgeschrei am Tag des Kampfes, unter Sturm am Tag des Ungewitters;

Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

und ihr König wird in die Gefangenschaft gehen, er und seine Fürsten miteinander, spricht der HERR.

Y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y sus príncipes todos, dice Jehová.

And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
