Amós 1

Paroles d'Amos qui lui vinrent en la bergerie de Thécué et dont il eut la vision concernant Jérusalem, durant les jours d'Ozias, roi de Juda, et durant les jours de Jéroboam, fils de Joas, roi d'Israël, deux ans avant le tremblement de terre.

LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.

The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Et il dit : Le Seigneur a parlé du haut de Sion, Il a fait entendre Sa voix de Jérusalem, et les pâturages des bergers ont été désolés, et la cime du Carmel a été desséchée.

Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Et le Seigneur a dit : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés de Damas que Je la prendrai en aversion ; c'est parce qu'avec des scies de fer ils ont scié les femmes enceintes en Galaad.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

Et Je lancerai la flamme sur la maison d'Azaël, et elle dévorera les fondations des fils d'Ader.

Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Benhadad.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

Et Je briserai les verrous de Damas, et J'exterminerai ceux qui habitent la plaine d'On, et Je taillerai en pièces la tribu des hommes d'Haran, et l'élite du peuple de Syrie sera emmenée en captivité, dit le Seigneur.

Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés de Gaza que Je les prendrai en aversion, c'est parce qu'ils ont fait prisonniers les captifs pour les enclore en Idumée.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Gaza, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they carried away captive the whole community, to deliver them up to Edom;

Et Je lancerai la flamme sur les murs de Gaza, et elle dévorera les fondations.

Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

Et J'exterminerai les habitants d'Azot ; et la tribu d'Ascalon sera détruite, et J'étendrai la main sur Accaron, et le reste des Philistins périra, dit le Seigneur.

Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés de Tyr que Je les prendrai en aversion, c'est parce qu'ils ont enclos en Idumée les captifs de Salomon, et qu'ils ne se sont point souvenus de l'alliance de leurs frères.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and didn’t remember the brotherly covenant;

Et Je lancerai la flamme sur les remparts de Tyr, et elle en dévorera les fondations.

Y meteré fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés de l'Idumée que Je les prendrai en aversion, c'est parce qu'ils ont poursuivi leurs frères à coups de glaive, et profané leur mère sur la terre, et pris en témoignage son effroi, et qu'ils ont gardé leur emportement dans la victoire.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger raged continually, and he kept his wrath forever;

Et Je lancerai la flamme sur Thaman ; et elle dévorera les fondations de leurs remparts.

Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah.”

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés d'Ammon que Je le prendrai en aversion, c'est parce qu'ils ont déchiré les femmes enceintes des Galaadites, pour étendre les limites de leur territoire.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.

Et J'allumerai la flamme sur les murs de Rabbath, et elle en dévorera les fondations, au milieu des cris, en un jour de combat ; et au jour de sa destruction cette ville tremblera.

Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

Et ses rois seront emmenés en captivité, et avec eux ses prêtres et ses princes, dit le Seigneur.

Y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y sus príncipes todos, dice Jehová.

And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
